Coming home after a lovely winter walk, making tea or coffee, settling onto the sofa with your hot drink, and then getting to work with your needles—does that sound like a good plan for the weekend? Here are my suggestions for a new project. All three are knitted in double-face, so they look beautiful from both sides. If you don’t know this knitting technique yet but would like to try it, you’ll find a free pattern for the
Double-Face Basics in my shop.
Knitting pattern: “Winter Sun” Headband - this headband is fun to knit from the very start, as you watch the pattern grow. The double knitting makes it nice and dense and keeps you cozy and warm. The size can be adjusted individually.
Knitting pattern: “Elo Elephant” Comfort Cloth / Washcloth - little Elo the elephant is wishing for a little friend to cuddle with. He’s very snuggly, after all! And if a face gets a little smeared with chocolate, Elo is happy to help clean it up.
Knitting pattern: “Flamingo Love” Potholder - these two flamingos like it hot! They’re very happy to serve as trivets for hot pots or, of course, as classic potholders. And when there’s nothing to do, they hang around your kitchen looking extremely decorative ;-)
Sonja wishes you a lovely weekend and lots of fun crafting
