Weekend — cold and wet outside. Warm and cozy inside. Perfect for snuggling up on the sofa and knitting :-) Maybe you’d like to try one of the following three cozy projects. All of them are knitted in doubleface. If you’d like to learn this knitting technique from scratch or need a refresher, you’ll find a free pattern with the basics here.

Doubleface Basics

Knitting Pattern for the Reversible Beanie “Enchanted Meadow” - Enchanting birds and the blossoms of little dandelion trees fly across this beanie... With a shiny thread, you can add a little sparkle to the dreamy motif. The beanie is the ideal complement to the matching cowl.

Knitting Pattern for the “Enchanted Meadow” Cowl
- who would have thought that a whole story could fit on a cowl? The motif with the unicorns and the fairy invites you to dream and make up your own stories.

Knitting Pattern for “Flamingo Love” Potholders - the two flamingos in love are great fun to knit. Once they’re finished, they’ll be hardworking helpers in the kitchen. They also make a great last-minute gift for loved ones at Christmas, or just because.

I wish you a lovely, creative weekend!

The Seihyo star doily is quick to crochet.
For it, you only need 25 g of 3-ply yarn (50% cotton, 50% polyacrylic).

The two-page PDF file is suitable for advanced crocheters.

Just before Christmas, you might still need one or two gifts for someone dear. I’d like to suggest three things that can still be knitted or crocheted nicely over the weekend. I hope you enjoy looking at them and making them yourself.

Warm regards and have a lovely 3rd Sunday of Advent - Ina wishes you

Knitting pattern for wrist warmers
They have a decorative cable at the top, and the inside is knitted in stockinette stitch. They have a shaped thumb gusset so they fit well. You can choose from 2 sizes. You only need 50 or 60 g of yarn. This would be a perfect gift for a young woman or a young girl.

Crochet pattern for a princess dress

This is the perfect gift for little doll mommies. You can choose from different versions of the dress. They can be turned into this or that model right as you crochet. My 5-year-old granddaughter’s favorite version is the one with the little rocaille beads. The beads are crocheted onto the dress at the end. So if you don’t have any beads at home yet, you could start crocheting the dress over the weekend. Tulle is sewn under the skirt so it stands nicely.

Crochet pattern for a heart pendant

It makes a wonderful gift for loved ones. You can hang it on a hanger in the wardrobe as a scented pendant (spray it with your favorite perfume first), or if it is crocheted with thin yarn, use it as a keychain. Or it can become a gift tag or decoration for a child’s room. It only takes a little cotton yarn and synthetic stuffing. In any case, it is always a sweet greeting, because a heart says more than 1,000 words.

Christmas is just around the corner and the perfect gift still isn't ready.
Then take a look here.

For crocheting, I have a wonderful unicorn here that can also pass as a pony without the horn.
A wonderful cuddly gift for the little ones

Or these wonderful Christmas mice.
You can crochet them with cheese, for example, as a great money gift, or
simply make just the mice on their own as keychains or bag charms

Or these two characters...
Little Doll Lilly and Rocker Pauli make a wonderful gift to love and cuddle

It’s always a great joy to knit clothes for a baby. Now in winter, a baby stays nice and warm in leggings, even when crawling. They’re comfortable and quite hard-wearing, since they’re knitted from sock yarn. And they fit up to at least 1.5 years.

The leggings are easy to knit using the pattern, provided you already have some knitting experience.

To go with the leggings, you can knit this 4-piece winter set from the leftover yarn. It consists of a buttoned cowl scarf, a hat, mittens, and socks knitted with the mowi heel.

Doll clothes are always a good idea, especially when they’re nice and colorful. This jacket (RVO) with the matching hat is knitted from leftover yarn and fits dolls or teddy bears measuring 45–50 cm. It also fits small newborns.

Would you like to wrap your packages this year with a very personal touch? Here are a few ideas for gift tags, all quick to crochet and perfect for using your leftover yarn:

The Little Moose
with the red nose is simply a must at Christmas. He has such a cheerful face that he’s sure to spread good cheer. And after Christmas, he makes a great bag charm or keychain.

Such a

little angel
is also a cute gift tag (with or without a musical instrument) that can later accompany you as a guardian angel on your key ring or bag handle.

If you want something even easier and faster, crochet this
Quick Angel.
Here, everything is only suggested, which is why the angel is truly finished in no time. Plus, this is a great way to make good use of small amounts of leftover yarn.,

The star made from fluffy sponge yarn can also be easily crocheted by beginners with a little practice.
You can use the star as decoration or as a sponge for bathing, showering, or washing dishes.

Also suitable for beginners with a little practice: the illuminated star.

Thanks to the effect film, the tiny lights of the LED string lights become beautiful three-dimensional stars that invite you to dream and create a magical atmosphere.

You can hang the illuminated star on doors or walls, or use it standing on a table, dresser, or shelf.

The Staircase Cowl can be knitted with 1 sock blank, gradient yarn, or regular sock-weight yarn.
It uses only knit and purl stitches, and there are 2 size options.

No snow outside in winter? The crocheted snowflakes, for example in the window, create a wintry feel and, of course, a Christmas mood. The snowflakes are ideal as coasters for tea lights, cups, or as Christmas tree decorations.

What could be nicer at Christmastime than crocheted little angels! Crochet thread in white, or even leftover crochet thread, a crochet hook, a few beads, and a little time. The decorations are made in no time and will bring joy for a long time when given as gifts.

Angel wings are beautiful messengers of the Christmas season—and at the same time, they are a loving symbol of protection all year round.

The angel wings are quick and easy to crochet, even for beginners, and can be used in many ways for decoration, for example as gift tags, keychains, or charms for the car’s rearview mirror.

That makes the angel wings a lovely gift for someone you’d like to send on their way with a guardian angel.

Knitting pattern for a turtleneck collar - an alternative to a loop scarf or scarf - it also keeps the shoulder and neck area warm.

With thick yarn, it’s great under a jacket for a winter walk; with a thin merino yarn, it’s also ideal for the office.

Knitting pattern for spiral socks

Spiral socks are knitted without a heel and fit across many sizes

Knitting pattern for a hat in 8 sizes

For the whole family - for the smaller sizes, smaller leftover yarn scraps are often enough
