Scarf or collar? Here you can knit both in one and customize it however you like. As a collar, it’s perfect for wide necklines; as a scarf, it works just as well under jackets or coats.

Easy to knit.

The stylish star-shaped tealight holder looks especially beautiful in Christmas colors and is already decoration enough all on its own. It can be crocheted with just a very small amount of yarn. In the pattern, every round is written out; but there is also a chart for everyone who prefers working from a crochet chart.

The crocheted Christmas tree decorations also go very well with it. Angel, bell, star, and snowflake can be made from leftover glitter yarn or from solid-colored cotton leftovers.

The illuminated angel is a festive Christmas decoration. But it can also be very useful after Christmas: As a guardian angel night light, it watches over the sleep of your child who doesn’t like lying in the dark.

The December highlights I’m presenting here are all knitted in double-face. If you’re not familiar with it yet but would like to give it a try, you’ll find a free pattern in my shop that explains the basics:

Double-Face Basics

Knitting Pattern: Loop "Wintertraum" - this loop tells the story of little bear cub Tobi, who experiences a beautiful winter day cuddled up close to his mom. Maybe your child would like to make up their own story to go with it?

Knitting Pattern: Loop "Zauberwiese"
- this fairy-tale loop invites unicorn fans young and old to dream of the unicorns of love, of the hardworking fairy Elvira... Thanks to the double-face knitting technique, it can be worn on both sides.

Knitting Pattern: Potholders "Flamingo Love" - these two flamingos in love are a joy even while you’re knitting them. And once they’re finished, they’ll hang prettily in your kitchen and look forward to every hot job!

Angel wings are, of course, a beautiful sign of the Christmas season, but they are also a lovely symbol of protection all year round.

The angel wings are easy and quick to crochet, even for ambitious beginners with a little practice, and can be used in many ways for decoration.

Perfect as a gift for someone you’d like to send on their way with a guardian angel.
