Dear users, dear authors,
Christmas markets aren't working so well offline this year, but we won't let that discourage us. This thread has room for everything you need for a Christmas market. Have fun making them.

@Autoren,
You can present as many suitable patterns as you like here. Don't forget links, images, info, etc.

It can get really cold when we visit the Christmas market.

That’s when a knitted collar like this is just the thing. As an alternative to a scarf or loop, it keeps our neck and shoulders warm and stops the cold wind from creeping down our backs.

Knitted with knit and purl stitches, it’s quite easy to make.

A Christmas market booth with doll clothes is sure to catch the eye of children big and small. Here you’ll find knitting patterns for clothing that will make every doll mom’s eyes light up at Christmas. After all, her favorite will look just like a real baby in them. Of course, a similarly sized teddy bear will also fit into these clothes

The following patterns fit dolls approx. 43–50 cm tall—and even newborns.

The individual links will take you to detailed information and more photos.

A sweet outfit—pants, sweater, and headband

A colorful clothing set for girl dolls—skirt, sweater, and headband

A colorful cardigan with matching hat

A pair of matching leggings to go with it

A Schlüttli with a hat—knitted RVO

A sweater with a button placket

The matching pants for the two tops

A cozy sleeping bag to keep the doll warm while sleeping

I’ve also found that you really have to bundle up at the Christmas market—otherwise it gets uncomfortable after a while, even with punch or mulled wine :-) Here are my suggestions for Christmas-market-ready accessories for the whole family—all knitted in double-face. Stylish, cuddly warm, and washable!

Knitting pattern for the "Zauberwiese" loop scarf
 - a dream for all unicorn and elf fans, in delicate rose and warm aubergine. Looks just as pretty from both sides.

Knitting pattern for the "Wintertraum" loop scarf
- little bear Tobi is enjoying a lovely winter day, snuggled up close to his mom. If we don’t get a white Christmas again this year, at least there’s a beautiful winter scene to cuddle up in :-)

Knitting pattern for the reversible beanie "Freches Schaf"
- this cheeky sheep seems to be stuck in the hat. In any case, it’s a real eye-catcher!

Knitting pattern for the reversible beanie "Hearts" - this beanie with hearts, made from the heart, is always well received. And this year it’s a real alternative to a gingerbread heart ;-)

Knitting pattern for the "Love & Energy" loop scarf - love and energy are always useful, especially this year. With this loop scarf featuring Chinese characters, you can wrap yourself up in them. It feels good!

Knitting pattern for the "Kiwi Love" beanie
- I think if you have to visit Christmas markets virtually, you might as well knit your way to the other side of the world. With this beanie featuring two symbols of New Zealand, the kiwi bird and the fern leaf, that’s really fun. And the beanie will definitely keep you warm—maybe next year it can come along to a real Christmas market :-)

And at this stand you'll find doll and teddy bear clothes in various sizes. You can also use the respective links here to get detailed information and more photos.

Let yourself be inspired and imagine the joy you'll have when giving them as gifts. Maybe you're like me and would like to dress your own dolls and teddy bears in new outfits. I hope you have lots of fun with it.

A teddy bear for a baby or toddler that even beginners can easily knit themselves. With the pattern, it works out great.

To the knitting pattern

Of course, this little bear also has perfectly matching clothing - a sleeping bag / swaddle bag with a sweater. This clothing also fits other bears or dolls measuring approx. 35-40 cm.

To the knitting pattern

These striped pants fit teddy bears measuring 40 cm. They're very easy to knit, and there's even room at the back for the little tail to go through.

To the knitting pattern

The little sleeping animals or dolls - 20 cm tall - naturally need a sleeping bag too, so they don't get cold at night. Here you can knit two different models right away. Both are very easy to make.

To the knitting pattern

Especially for teddy bears measuring 25-30 cm, there are a few pretty designs

Sporty summer clothes, ideal for leftover yarn - also for beginners

To the knitting pattern

A cute little raglan sweater - quickly knitted from leftover yarn - raglan from the bottom up

A warm onesie so the teddy bear (or doll) doesn't get cold. Easy to knit and easy for toddlers to put on and take off. Two different yarn weights are described.

At this booth you'll find a few ideas for toys that toddlers especially will be delighted with.

I can especially recommend the bag that fits perfectly on a Puky, tricycle, or balance bike. It gives a gift like that an extra special touch. The bag was a wish from my granddaughter, and it has proven to be very sturdy. Lots of treasures have already been carried in it.

To the crochet pattern

You can also crochet a kindergarten bag yourself. This one also has a reinforced bottom and even an adjustable strap. It can come along on walks or outings, too. This was another wish from my granddaughter. She loves bags!

To the crochet pattern

Food for the play kitchen is a great idea, and it is sure to get lots of play. Here you'll find the basic supply to start with, so the dolls will be well fed, too. They can choose from toast, butter, noodles, a fried egg, and various vegetables. Ideal for leftover yarn and also for beginners.

To the crochet pattern

A bag is absolutely needed for the pretend shop, too. And you can fill it right away with lemons and carrots. Maybe the little shopkeepers have sold out and need to restock? All the pieces are easy for beginners to crochet as well.

Here is another stand with various small gift ideas for all ages.

Nostalgic, colorful, decorative and practical - or simply as a good-luck charm to enjoy.
Maybe you’ll find the idea here that you still need for someone dear to you.

A funny little ghost as a companion - on a keychain, in the car, or as a gift tag. It’s something different and puts you in a good mood. Very easy to make.

To the crochet pattern

Lucky beetles as oven mitts - guaranteed not everyone has these. They look lovely in any kitchen and always spread good cheer. Very easy to crochet, even for beginners.

To the crochet pattern

A small pouch for 10 tissues - it fits anywhere and is sure to be a joy to give as a gift. Leftover yarn can be used here, and different versions can be crocheted. Very easy to make.

To the crochet pattern

A tissue box cover that can be crocheted in your favorite colors - my friends always loved it. It is very easy to make and always turns out beautifully. The hearts and butterflies on it are a lovely eye-catcher.

To the crochet pattern

A little bear or an owl as a door guard - an absolute hit with children, but not only with them. A must-have for working from home! This makes it easy to signal in a loving way whether visitors are welcome or not.

The owl or the little bear is available as an individual pattern or as a value bundle. They are very easy to make, even for beginners with crochet experience.

Of course, little gnomes are also a must at a Christmas market. These gnomes can be crocheted in different sizes - then filled and given as gifts. For example, they can stand on the table as egg cups and egg cozies, along with the gnome house as a bread roll basket. There are so many ideas. And children are guaranteed to know what they can fill them with.

Note: The gnome house (storage basket) and the gnomes are also available separately as patterns.

A poinsettia makes the nicest gift in a matching pot cover. This pattern also includes the scatter stars, which can also be used as tree ornaments. Everything is very easy to make, even for beginners with crochet experience.

My Christmas market booth is right next to the waffle stand—mmm... :-) Grab a fresh waffle—maybe with powdered sugar or applesauce? And then take your time browsing the handmade accessories at my booth.

Knitting Pattern for “Flamingo Love” Pot Holders
—these pot holders are an eye-catcher in any kitchen, especially if you knit them in your favorite colors (or to match your decor). They’re worked in double knitting, making them nice and dense and looking great from both sides.

Knitting Pattern for “Elo Elephant” Washcloth / Cuddle Cloth —this cute elephant is still looking for a little friend to accompany. For washing hair, wiping little mouths, or simply for cuddling :-) This design is also worked in double knitting and then finished with a crocheted heart border.

Knitting Pattern: “Life is Magic” Gym Bag
—Yes, you can even knit a gym bag. The bottom is crocheted, and the rest is worked in double knitting. This is sure to make the eyes of little unicorn fans sparkle with joy.

Knitting Pattern: “Breakfast for You” Mini Bread Basket —This bread basket for one person also makes a lovely little gift. It brings color and cheer to the breakfast table. The bottom of the basket is crocheted, and the rest is worked in double knitting.

If you walk a few steps farther, you might pass the stall with gingerbread bites and roasted almonds. Take a deep breath and enjoy the aroma. Or maybe you’ll quickly grab a bag of hot roasted chestnuts? Now you’re refreshed and have energy again for the next market stall. Here you’ll find cheerful, colorful children’s clothing.

Knitting and crochet pattern for a balloon dress with pockets, size 92/98 - this pretty little dress is already making us look forward to summer. It is knitted top-down in the round, so the size is easy to adjust.

Crochet pattern set “Lucy” - dress and bolero jacket
- depending on your color combination, you can make this set look chic and elegant or bright and cheerful. The pattern is written out for sizes 104/110 and 116/122, but you can easily adjust the size.

Knitting and crochet pattern “Fairy Dress,” size 110/116 - little fairy fans will love this dress! It is knitted top-down in the round, which makes it easy to adjust the size. The appliqués are crocheted and sewn on.

Now let’s quickly take a break and warm up with a hot drink!

You’ll find knitting patterns for cute baby clothes at this stand.

Clothing is always very popular for babies, especially when it’s hand-knitted. There’s so much love in it, and the joy of giving it as a gift is great for everyone. The baby clothes you’ll find here grow along a little, so the work is really worth it.

Let yourself be inspired. I hope you have lots of fun with it.

This sweet little baby dress looks adorable when worn, as many users have already written to me. It fits up to 18 months and is easy to knit.

To the knitting pattern

This little dress with the sweet knitted-in hearts also grows along — even up to 3 years.

To the knitting pattern

Every baby first needs a warm blanket — preferably made from soft merino wool. They’ll feel comfortable and safe in it. When you knit this blanket, you put your love — your heart — right into it in a visible way. The baby is sure to feel it.

To the knitting pattern

So that the baby or toddler stays nice and warm on the head, throat, and neck all at once, this hat is simply brilliant. To make it easy to put on and take off without any crying, it has buttons at the front. And knitting it is very easy.

To the knitting pattern

This baby set — knitted from sock yarn — consists of a jacket with the matching hat and pull-on pants. The pattern is made up of knit and purl stitches and looks pretty on both sides. Good knitting experience with patterns is recommended here.

All pieces fit at least up to 12 months. My granddaughter was still wearing the pants at 1.5 years old. The pants and the jacket are also available as separate patterns.

To the knitting pattern for the baby set

These summer pants — which can also be knitted with long legs — fit babies from 3 months and up to about 1.5 years. Easy to knit with a perfect fit.

To the knitting pattern

This sweet knitted baby dress with a special lace pattern is available here together with crocheted little shoes and a headband (patterns also available separately).

To the knitting and crochet pattern

A baby sleeping bag made from cuddly soft merino wool is especially needed in winter. This one fits up to at least 12 months.

To the knitting pattern

This traditional-style newborn jacket has a pretty heart lace pattern and a hood. It also makes an excellent gift for a birth.

To the knitting pattern

Baby leggings made from sock yarn that still fit even at 1.5 years old. Thanks to the stitch pattern, they fit comfortably and even leave room for the thickest diaper. Easy to knit.

To the knitting pattern

The leftovers from these leggings can then be used to knit this winter set. It consists of a hat, mittens, little socks with the mowi heel, and a cowl.

At the Christmas market, of course, you’ll also want to stock up on beautiful decorations for the Christmas season .

Of course, ornaments for the Christmas tree are very important. We definitely need something new there.

How about crocheted Christmas tree ornaments?
Bells, snowflake, star, and angel can be crocheted quickly from a few leftover yarn scraps.

For Christmas baubles we’ll use
Angel in the Heavenly Bauble.
They glitter and shimmer wonderfully in the candlelight.

Of course, a star belongs at the very top. This year we’ll take one of the cute little
Star Gnomes.
Or maybe we’ll hang them all together on a string. Then we’ll have a wonderfully colorful star garland.

For the festively set table, we need the
 Star Tealight Holder
We’ll want several of those right away. But they’re quick to crochet.

And for the breakfast table, we’ll also take the
Christmas egg cozies
with us. They make a pretty decoration even without eggs.

Oh, just look! There goes
Santa Claus with his sleigh and reindeer
passing by and waving to us in a friendly way. He has lots of
gift bags
with him, with many surprises waiting for us inside.

Now let’s quickly go to the nativity market with the nativity figures.
Here we see

 the Holy Family
Mary and Joseph with the baby Jesus in the manger. Beside them, ox and donkey stand watch, and above them the Christmas star shines brightly.

An angel announces to the shepherds with their sheep
the birth of Christ. So they immediately set out to see the divine child.
The

Three Wise Men
are also on their way to the child in the manger. They have brought him gifts, which they are carrying on their pack animals: camel, elephant, and horse.

And aren’t those angel voices we hear?
The Heavenly Orchestra
strikes up a Christmas carol! What a beautiful melody!

Yes, we also need an angel for our Christmas decorations!
The Guardian Angel Night Light
will cast a lovely glow in our Christmas room. And after Christmas, its gentle light will comfort our children who don’t like falling asleep in the dark.

To finish up, we’ll go to the candy stand.
We’ll quickly check our
reindeer coin purse
to see if we still have enough money for a filled
candy jar
. Yes, we have enough! Once we’ve eaten the sweets, we can light up the jar with an LED light and then we’ll have a wonderful Santa lantern.

Yes, even on a virtual Christmas stroll there is a lot to discover!

There is also a stand with a few practical little items and accessories that keep you nice and warm and are popular.

Knitting socks is a must at Christmas. And if you haven't dared to try the heel yet, you should definitely give the ingeniously simple mowi heel a try. With 3 needles it's even easier, as you can see in the pattern.

A versatile scarf that can also simply be worn as a collar - it's even a gift for men and for anyone who isn't a fan of scarves, as I've heard. Easy to knit.

Wrist warmers are a great accessory and super quick to knit, and they always make a fitting Christmas gift.
For the Noble Hand Stripes, 2 very different colors are needed; max. 2 x 50 g is enough.
The great effect is created with a simple slipped-stitch pattern.

These decorative ornaments come in three sizes, so you can choose the most suitable version for any project.

The ornaments are made from cardstock and can be decorated with glitter liner as desired. They measure approximately 7, 11, and 17.5 cm. To recreate the individual elements, you should be comfortable using a craft knife, but assembling the ornaments is very easy.

Homemade gifts made with love are always well received. Especially when you want to avoid extensive shopping. I wish everyone a peaceful Christmas season with baking cookies, drinking mulled wine, making poinsettias, opening Advent calendars, singing Christmas carols, doing handicrafts, and everything else that is part of it for you. Maybe a "stroll" through the online Christmas market. Patterns from Blickfang-Design are a must there.

Okay, the crowds are missing. That’s hard to imitate...

In many parts of the country, the first snow of this winter fell today (even though in many areas it has already melted away again).

To go with that, at this Christmas market booth you'll find

the melting snowman as a washcloth or dishcloth

The melting snowman is easy for beginners with a little practice to crochet, too, and simply looks too cute on the edge of the bathtub or by the sink.

I also have warm scarves to offer you. All models are fairly easy to make, since they are knitted using only knit and purl stitches.

Knitting Pattern Scarf "Belinda"

Started with a point and increases, this scarf can easily be made in your desired width.

Knitting Pattern Scarf "Rechteck"

Knitting Pattern Scarf - cable look without a cable needle

This pattern is created all by itself using only knit and purl stitches....

Knitting Pattern Scarf "Nachts in Toronto"

With this model too, the width can easily be adjusted to your desired size by adding more increases.
