Doll clothes can always be knitted very well from leftover yarn. This cute outfit fits dolls that are about 45–50 cm tall, as well as small newborn babies. The sweater is knitted using the RVO method, which is explained in detail in the pattern. If you already have knitting experience, it’s all very easy.
As the example from my test knitter shows, there are no limits to your imagination when it comes to both color and shape.

Maybe you’ll like my ideas for giving your leftover yarn a new shine:

The hanging decoration for the door or wall looks cheerful and carefree and can be crocheted tone-on-tone or in lots of bright colors, depending on your preference and your supply of leftover yarn.

Difficulty level: easy, suitable for ambitious beginners with a little practice.

You can crochet a whole sea of flowers from lots of colorful leftover yarn. You can combine the flowers in new ways again and again and use them in many ways for decoration. For example, as scatter flowers, as keychains or bag charms, or as appliqués on bags, scarves, hats, door wreaths, cushion covers, boot cuffs, curtain tiebacks, ... And of course on lovingly wrapped gifts and birthday cards.

You usually have leftover cotton yarn lying around in countless colors. You can make this fun “Happy Dog” dishcloth as colorful and vibrant as possible. It’s knitted in double knitting, so it looks just as great on both sides.

Lots of colorful leftovers become a craft bucket.

You can crochet it in different sizes. Around the outside there are lots of compartments for your crochet hooks, scissors, etc. Your current project goes in the bucket. You can also give it, filled with yarn, to a dear crafting friend.

This little angel is a cute decoration, not just for the Advent season.

The pattern describes row by row and round by round how you can crochet an angel like this for yourself. It includes many informative photos.
Only basic crochet skills are needed.

The little angels are approx. 15 cm tall and were each crocheted from just under 20 g of cotton yarn (e.g., Gründl Cotton Fun, 115 m/50 g).

Even very small scraps of photo cardstock can be put to good use with these glitter balls. If you have a lot of scraps in one color, you can make single-color balls; if not, you can also make two-color or very colorful ones.

These 9 cm Christmas tree ornaments are made from photo cardstock and decorated with glitter liner. While it takes a little time to make the individual pieces, the ornaments are otherwise very easy to recreate.

Only 13 g of bamboo yarn in total are needed for Raffuru .

The models shown can be used as bookmarks.
Crocheted longer, you can also make borders from them, among other things.

Here the name says it all—with the Resteblümchen crochet pattern, you can use up even the tiniest bit of leftover yarn. The flowers are very beginner-friendly and can be used in lots of different ways ♥

The little owl BOO also uses only a very small amount of cotton yarn and can easily be conjured up from leftovers :-)

All crochet patterns are described in great detail and include lots of pictures.

Admittedly, you can’t make this festive door wreath using only scraps, because you’ll definitely need a larger piece of cardstock for the ring that serves as the base. But for everything else, even very small pieces of cardstock will actually suffice.

This wreath is about 28 cm in diameter and consists of a base shape and 36 individual elements that form the rounded shape. The whole thing is then finished off with Christmas flowers. Assembling the wreath is fun and very easy.
