Beautiful and useful things for the kitchen:

Potholders are always handy to have, and when they’re this decorative, they’re also an adornment for the kitchen. That way, you can use different potholders depending on the season.

Cup and Milk Can Potholders
bring to mind cozy coffee hours with Grandma’s polka-dot dishes: pure nostalgia! You can purchase the patterns for the two potholders individually or together as a value set.

Polar Bear and Penguin
never meet in nature, since they live at opposite ends of the world. But in your kitchen they can get together and protect you from burned fingers.

The Ladybug Dish Sponge
not only looks cute, but is also a sustainable cleaning sponge, because it can be washed at 60° and used again and again hygienically clean. Its slightly scratchy surface effortlessly removes dried-on food residue from dishes. But don’t worry: it won’t scratch while you’re crocheting!

Warm leggings made from sock yarn are just the right clothing for toddlers right now. They’re comfortable, move with every movement, and will even fit for at least 2 years (ages 3–5). Easy to knit if you have some knitting experience.

This little pinafore dress with knitted-in hearts also grows with your child. It fits babies from 6 months and even toddlers up to 3 years old. Easy to make and seam-free.

Toddlers love colorful things. This children’s jacket combines even more of their favorite features. It has a hood and pockets, which little ones love for stowing away their treasures. The jacket fits from about 2.5 to 4.5 years. It’s knitted using the top-down raglan method. For experienced knitters, this is a lovely project that’s a joy to make.

Babies and toddlers usually don’t like it very much when clothes are pulled over their heads. My granddaughter felt the same way. So I came up with this hat. It keeps both the head and neck warm and can be easily buttoned and unbuttoned at the front. Easy to make, even for beginners with some knitting experience.

These leggings can also be knitted with sock yarn. Here, I chose a warm natural fiber blend of merino and alpaca. The leggings fit children from about 1.5 to 3 years old.

This cute little baby dress fit my granddaughter at 6 months and still fit her at 2 years old. It’s very easy to make and looks simply adorable when worn. Even beginners with some knitting experience can give this a try and achieve a beautiful result.

In gloomy November, you could craft a bonsai tree made of beads and wire, full of delicate blossoms, and enjoy this special decorative piece all year round:

To the cherry blossom bonsai craft pattern

To the wisteria bonsai craft pattern

The little bonsai trees are very easy to make, even if you’ve never crafted with beads and wire before. That’s because every step is explained in detail in the pattern and shown with detailed photos, so you can easily and successfully make the little bonsai trees yourself.

Little Angels
who says little angels always have to be white?

 -- to the pattern --

The little angels are quick to crochet from just a few bits of leftover yarn.

The pattern describes step by step with lots of photos how you can crochet the little angels for yourself. Only basic crochet skills are needed, so the little angels are also a great beginner project.

For each little angel, just over 15 g of cotton yarn was used, e.g. Gründl Cotton Fun (yardage 115 m/50 g).
One little angel is approx. 10 cm tall.

If you'd like to make an Advent calendar yourself, but don't want to make it too complicated, then this model would be a good choice.

Since the little Christmas trees are completely identical, you don't have to think too much: Once the first little tree is finished and you've seen how it works, the rest practically make themselves!

The little trees are made from photo cardstock, each approx. 7 x 8.5 x 8 cm, and are also well suited for beginners.

A back scrubber shower strap made from sponge yarn is a very useful and original gift idea for people who like comfort when showering and bathing, or for people whose physical mobility is limited, or for people who want “no dust collectors, but something practical.”

In addition, this back scrubber shower strap, with its unusual, textured shell design, is a lovely eye-catcher in the bathroom:

Difficulty level: easy for experienced crocheters, intermediate for ambitious beginners with a little practice
Required skills: starting crochet with a magic ring, crocheting in rounds/rows, slip stitches, chain stitches, single crochet, simple and multiple double crochet stitches.

The PDF file includes the written crochet pattern, the crochet chart for the beautiful, textured shell pattern, and a step-by-step tutorial with over 30 photos and detailed explanations.

You can get the crochet pattern for the shell-design back scrubber shower strap here

In just over two weeks, the first Advent calendar doors will be opened!
If you’re still planning to make an Advent calendar, you shouldn’t wait any longer—get started right away. How about this one?

The Advent calendar is made from photo cardstock, measures approx. 33 x 28.5 x 6.5 cm, and is very easy to make. You can also replace the painted-on numbers with number stickers in a similar size.

Twist Baby Blanket

This super-cozy baby blanket is crocheted from the inside out, making it perfect for bobbles or yarn cakes. If you like, you can crochet it as big as you want (or as big as your yarn will allow 🙃). Absolutely beginner-friendly and perfect for crocheting while watching TV.
