I have a lovely beginner’s crochet project for you to make, something almost everyone can use: a doorstop. Mine is crocheted from just one 150-g skein of yarn. It weighs 4 kg and reliably holds any door open; no draft can slam it shut anymore.

I hope you enjoy looking at it and making your own.

Warm regards from Ina

A cozy, warm pair of knitted pants that won’t slip down — that’s just what toddlers from age 1 need at this time of year. They are knitted from 6-ply sock yarn, which is durable and machine washable. The pattern will always be one of a kind, no matter how many you knit.

The straps have a special fit at the back and can be adjusted to 2 sizes. The waistband can be folded over at first, so the pants fit well from size 80 to 92.

A particularly pretty eye-catcher is the cable on the side, which also helps keep them warm by making the pants fit nicely while still being flexible enough to move comfortably with every motion.

Here I’ve fulfilled all the wishes of my granddaughter’s mother. Maybe you, too, have been looking for this solution for a long time.

Good knitting experience is needed, but all steps are described precisely in the pattern. To save ink, there is a print version and an additional version with photos.

Brand new in my shop is this cheerful reversible beanie called “Freches Schaf.” On one side, you see the head and front; on the other side, the rear peeks out :-) This super-cozy beanie is knitted in double-face technique—the double layer keeps you nice and warm. Plus, it looks equally great from both sides, so it can be worn either way. The size of the beanie can be easily adjusted; you’ll find help with this in the pattern.

The pattern also includes a file explaining the basics of double-face knitting (including a “practice motif” for anyone who’d like to try this knitting technique).

With this knight’s castle Advent calendar, I’ve finally brought to life an idea that’s been floating around in my head for a few years. Now I can finally present the result to you!

The Advent calendar is made of photo board and measures approximately 18.5 x 34 x 18.5 cm. The tower in the middle can be removed and serves as a container for gifts that don’t fit into the small numbered compartments.

The calendar isn’t really difficult to make, but it does require time, patience, and precision. So it’s only suitable for crafters who already have some experience.

New in my shop is a hooded jacket that can be worn by both male and female dolls measuring about 30 cm. It can be crocheted as a vest (without sleeves) or as a jacket (with sleeves). All you need to make it is a few scraps of thin leftover yarn.

Since I’d love to share my enthusiasm for double-face knitting, I’ve created a short introductory course on the double-face knitting technique. Using this coaster featuring the friendly skull “Skully” as an example, I explain step by step how to knit a project using the double-face technique.

This pattern is available for free download.

Miss Pinky
I’m sure everyone could use a little luck, and Miss Pinky is even bringing a little bottle along :) Maybe an idea for New Year’s Eve or other celebrations?

The little angel has taken a seat on a cloud in the celestial sphere and is looking down on the inhabitants of Earth. The yarn for the sphere and the angel’s little dress is interwoven with a glittering silver thread, and the border of the sphere, made of sponge yarn, also glitters and shimmers. The ornament looks especially beautiful at the top of the Christmas tree, but it also makes a great wall or window decoration. The angel can be crocheted using leftover yarn.

Little Angel with Candle
cute pre-Christmas decor

-- to the pattern --

The little angel brings a warm light into your home.

The pattern describes row by row and round by round how you can crochet an angel like this for yourself.
It contains many informative photos.
Only basic crochet skills are needed.

The little angels are approx. 15 cm tall and were each crocheted from just under 20 g of cotton yarn (e.g. Gründl Cotton Fun, 115 m/50 g).

Sock yarn is universally popular. A sweater made from this wonderful yarn features a unique pattern repeat, making each piece truly one-of-a-kind. This one has a collar and button placket and fits sizes 110–116, which is for 4–5-year-olds. If you have knitting experience, it’s easy to recreate. I’ve included some knitting tips as a bonus here.

This loop scarf not only keeps you cozy and warm, it even tells a little story—namely, that of Tobi the little bear, who gets to spend a wonderful winter day in the forest with his mom. Or did he just dream it?

The loop is knitted using the double-face technique and can be worn either way. With a comparable gauge, the finished measurements are approximately 56 cm in circumference and approximately 18 cm in height. The basics of double-face knitting are explained in the pattern.

A small leftover piece of yarn weighing about 10 g is all you need to crochet this beautiful tea light holder. If you make several of them, you’ll have a great, easy-to-make decoration for your Christmas table.
The pattern describes, round by round, how to achieve the finished piece. There’s also a crochet chart for anyone who prefers to follow a chart.
You can download the crochet pattern right here.

Now you can knit warm clothes for your teddy bear (25–30 cm). In this cute knitted onesie, he’ll definitely look adorable and get even more hugs.

The onesie (RVO) is also suitable for beginners with some knitting experience and is easy to follow. Since it has no buttons, it’s easy to put on and take off, even for small children.

For anyone who loves giving sweets as gifts, I recommend this lid cover with a crocheted Santa Claus for a candy jar. This way, you can upcycle an empty jam jar and beautifully display your cookies or other sweets.
All you need is some leftover yarn in Christmas colors.

Larcobaleno Scarf
a colorful contrast to the dreary November gray

-- to the pattern --

This colorful zigzag scarf is a real eye-catcher and a great project for crochet beginners.

The pattern explains step by step and with plenty of photos how you can crochet this scarf yourself. A crochet chart is also included.

The scarf is 230 cm long and 33 cm wide.
Two 4-ply bobbles (50% cotton, 50% acrylic / approx. 190 m/50 g) were used in black and
rainbow gradient, 150 g/570 m each.

This soft and warm “Zauberwiese” cowl will make little unicorn fans beam :-) It invites you to dream and snuggle up. Since it’s knitted using double knitting, it can be worn on both sides—depending on the rest of the outfit, sometimes the lighter side and sometimes the darker side can be shown off.

The basics of double knitting are explained in the pattern.

Here’s the knitting pattern for the “Zauberwiese” cowl in double knitting
