The candy jar with the crafting snowman is always a popular crochet project. This lets you give your (homemade) sweets in style, and the chilly snowman, who is still knitting his scarf (or crocheting it—depending on which version you choose), puts a smile on everyone’s face. This Advent calendar is one of the few in my store where all the containers are made, filled, and hung independently of one another. This has the great advantage that minor imperfections during crafting don’t matter, making the calendar wonderfully suitable even for crafting beginners.


 
The calendar is made of cardstock; the containers are each approximately 6 x 11.5 x 7 cm in size and easy to recreate.

The stars are very easy to crochet from a few scraps of leftover yarn .

Even as a beginner with basic knowledge, these stars are easy to crochet.
The, as always, richly illustrated pattern with step-by-step instructions also helps, and a crochet chart is included as well.

For the stars, 15g/20g/45g cotton yarn (e.g., Gründl Cotton Fun, yardage 115m/50g) was used. They measure 11cm, 13cm, and 22cm.

The colorful, lively coasters are a great project for leftover yarn.

With basic knowledge of crochet, these coasters are easy and quick to crochet. As always, the pattern is richly illustrated and describes all 3 versions in detail (2-color, 3-color, 4-color).

Each coaster used just under 10 g of cotton yarn (e.g., Gründl Cotton Fun, 115 m/50 g).
They have a diameter of approx. 11 cm.
