Baby Blanket Lilly
a magical gift

-- to the pattern --

A wonderful gift—not just for Christmas—for newborns and toddlers.

The pattern describes all the steps in detail with lots of photos so you can crochet the blanket.
Only basic knowledge of crochet is required. For advanced crocheters, there are also crochet charts for the blanket and all appliqués.

For the blanket, I used approx. 550 g of gradient yarn cake (4-ply, yardage 190 m/50 g).
The blanket measures 95 cm x 95 cm.

Nico the Rhino
a cuddly friend to dream with

-- to the pattern --

Little Nico, a tiny rhino, loves to cuddle and is happy to join you on any dream adventure.

The pattern is, as always, richly illustrated and explains step by step how you can crochet Nico. Since it uses more than just "normal", evenly rounded shapes, you should already have some experience with amigurumi crochet.

Nico was crocheted with just under 100 g of cotton yarn, e.g. Gründl Cotton Fun (LL 115m/50g), and is approx. 21 cm long.

As always, the pattern is richly illustrated and explains step by step in detail how you can crochet this cuddle cloth yourself, even as an ambitious beginner.

Children also sometimes want to be undisturbed in their room. These two door hangers that guard the room are very popular. It works even without a key. With this gift, you can certainly surprise your children or grandchildren for Christmas and make them very happy. After all, not everyone has something like this! :)

The door guards are very easy to crochet from leftover yarn. Basic crochet skills are enough.

(Note: both patterns are also available separately.)

These little gnomes can gather wonderfully to make an Advent calendar, and then move into a gnome house at Christmas.

A shopping bag like this for the pretend grocery store is fun, too. It can then be filled right away with lemons and carrots. Easy to make, even for beginners.

This crossbody bag can also go along to kindergarten. It has a double base and an adjustable strap. On walks, lots of treasures for crafting can be carried in it.

Little girls often like hair accessories. How about a few headbands with a pretty lace pattern in different colors? You only need a few scraps of leftover yarn for them.

Toddlers who are out and about on a balance bike, tricycle, or Puky will definitely be delighted with a bag that fits right onto it. I fulfilled a wish for my granddaughter with this. This bag also has a double base.

Sweet little ghosts are sure to be a welcome companion on a bag (or as a keychain). They’re also lovely as gift tags. Very easy to crochet, even for beginners.

Doll clothes are always popular with children, especially if they have a baby doll. The following outfits fit dolls that are about 43–50 cm tall. For the most part, teddy bears will fit in them, too. The clothes look just as cute as real baby clothes. So you’re spoiled for choice—or you could simply knit the whole collection. What a joy that would be at Christmas! Children’s eyes are absolutely guaranteed to light up!

Handmade toys are always something very special for children, because they are always one-of-a-kind pieces that no one else has. That’s why they are usually loved and kept well into adulthood. In my shop you’ll find lots of things that make great Christmas gifts for children.
Would you like to go window-shopping with me?

For babies:

Cuddly Bunny Hoppel
Cuddly Cat Mauzi
These cuddly animals have embroidered eyes and are crocheted with three types of yarn (chenille, cotton, and teddy yarn). The body is not stuffed, so the baby can easily grasp it like a cuddle cloth.

Lamb Music Box
The little lamb is very soft and cuddly and can also be crocheted as a stuffed animal without a music box.

Warm Bear Kuschel
Warm Monkey Bibo
Grain pillow covers as cuddly animals! The warmed-up animals pre-warm the bed or help with tummy aches.

And as decorations for the children’s room:

 Noah’s Ark Door Wreath

Sterntaler Door Wreath

Mouse in a Hot-Air Balloon

For crawling toddlers:

 crocheted train
Little dolls can ride along, because the cars have doors that can be opened. The cars are connected to each other with hook-and-loop fasteners.
Train car and Locomotive can also be purchased individually as patterns.

For crawling toddlers, finger puppets are better suited than hand puppets, since they are easier to play with even for little hands.
Value Set Finger Puppets Punch and Judy Theater
10 different little finger puppets for small children (Punch, grandmother, king, princess, witch, robber, policeman, crocodile, Seppel, and Gretel). Nothing is glued here and there are no loose small parts that could be swallowed.
Finger Puppets Snowman, Santa, Moose
Frosty the snowman, Santa Claus, and Rudi the moose fit especially well into the Christmas season—and they’re also a good idea as fillers for an Advent calendar!
You can find even more crochet patterns for finger puppets here!

At crawling age, children have new experiences every day, which they usually process at night. Many children are then afraid to fall asleep in the dark.

Guardian Angel Night Light
The little guardian angel gives off a gentle light, but it isn’t so bright that it disturbs healthy sleep. In this way, its presence is calming and it watches over your darling’s sleep.

For daycare and kindergarten children:

Older children can already play well with hand puppets, and they have lots of fun slipping into different roles:

6 Punch and Judy Theater Hand Puppets
In this value pack you get 6 crochet patterns at once: robber, Seppel, grandmother, Gretel, Punch, and crocodile.

 Angel and Devil
Or how about a little angel and little devil, especially at Christmas, so you can act out the conflicts between good and evil?

You can find even more crochet patterns for hand puppets here!

Kindergarten children need lots of movement!
 Hobby-Horse Unicorn Violetta
With the hobby-horse unicorn, that’s possible indoors even in winter! Violetta’s head is crocheted from cuddly-soft teddy yarn, and the stick is made from a soft pool noodle. That way no one can get hurt, even during wild romping, and Violetta can even come to bed in the evening if need be.

At kindergarten age, children like to imitate adults. Play kitchens and pretend grocery stores are then a very popular game that you can never have enough of. With these foods, the little shop is well stocked:

 Basket of Vegetables
Colorful Fruit Crate
Small Berry Basket

For schoolchildren:
Schoolchildren are very proud when they can already read a little. A beginning-reader book with a nice bookmark is a great gift then:
Frog Prince Bookmark
Dragon Bookmark
Fox Bookmark

You can find even more crochet patterns for bookmarks here!

Schoolchildren still love drawing terribly much, too. With these fun pencil toppers, writing and drawing are even more fun!
Pencil Toppers Dog, Cat, Mouse
Pencil Toppers Teacher and Schoolchildren

Little schoolgirls are already very fashion-conscious, so they love playing with dress-up dolls. And of course they constantly need new clothes. How about a new wardrobe for the little dolls?
Short Dirndl for Dress-Up Dolls
 Peacock Princess Evening Dress
Mermaid Outfit for Dress-Up Dolls

You can find even more clothing and accessories for dress-up dolls here!

And for every age:

Cuddly toys!
e.g.

Heart Bear, for everyone who loves each other

You can find lots of patterns for cuddly animals here!

I hope you enjoyed window-shopping in my shop. If you’re interested in something, just click on the blue text!

A glittery, handmade gym bag with a unicorn on it - a dream for (almost) every girl 😀
The bottom of the gym bag is crocheted, and the motif is knitted in double knitting. This makes it really sturdy and lets it accompany the child receiving it for many years!

Pattern for the "Life is magic" gym bag

For the very little ones, you can knit a cuddly comfort cloth with a cute animal motif in double knitting. A child will enjoy this for a long time too - my 7-year-old daughter still likes using her Diggi Dino when washing her hair to keep her eyes dry.

Cute hats or a cozy loop scarf also make great Christmas gifts for children. All the models shown are knitted in double knitting.

This knitted firefighter is suitable for little and big firefighter fans alike.
Using the specified yarn (yardage 115 m/50 g), he will be approx. 40 cm tall.
He is really not that difficult to knit if you are comfortable knitting with a set of double-pointed needles. (See also the reviews for this).
Also great for using up leftover yarn.

How about a new cuddly friend for Christmas? Little Ursa Bear Child is perfect for that.

If you’d rather find a monstrously good friend, you should turn to Raffy Monster Tooth. Because of his big teeth, many are afraid of him, but he is actually a very sweet monster who is up for any fun,

What a lovely selection. I wouldn’t even know what to choose. And now I’m going to make the decision even harder for you. Because I also have a small selection of ideas you could use to treat your children and grandchildren.

I hope you enjoy window-shopping and making them yourself. You’ll find more pictures, information, and the pattern by clicking on the headings.

Warm greetings from Ina

Ball Gown with Tulle Underskirt

A dream dress for every doll mommy.

Mosaic Blanket Made from Squares

This colorful blanket, crocheted in the child’s favorite colors, will be a hit.

Christmas or Gift Bag

You can use it to give small gifts, and the bag itself can continue to be used later.

Ball Gown
This one is knitted, and it looks absolutely adorable, doesn’t it?

Candy Pillow

This is crocheted and very easy to make. It is filled with synthetic stuffing and can be put completely into the washing machine for washing.

One-Step Felted Shoes

They keep children’s feet nice and warm. You could even have 2 pairs: one for home and one to take along when visiting the grandparents.

Doll Clothes

You can crochet a skirt in a variable length and a matching top. That’s always a big hit with little girls.

Round Colorful Rug
It looks good in any child’s room ... and it’s fun to crochet.

Hanging Storage Basket

Little girls love it for their sparkly hair clips and ponytail holders. It’s made on a clothes hanger, making it easy to transport. That way you can give it as a gift already filled, or take it along to a friend’s house.

A “Board Game”
You probably all know this as a hard cardboard version. This one is made of wool and is washable.

Dreamy Princess Dress
You can crochet it in different versions. My favorite version is the one with rocailles beads.

African Flowers Heart Pillow
This is also a beautiful gift with lasting value. The heart as a symbol of love in itself, and on top of that crocheted by you by hand - a wonderful gift that any child would surely love to cuddle. It is filled with synthetic stuffing and can be washed in the washing machine if needed.

The Ice Princess’s Coat
It is knitted as a top-down raglan and looks simply magical. Maybe you could give it together with a doll or a matching fairy-tale movie on DVD. You could watch it together.

Knitting Nancy Rug
Every rug is one of a kind, because everyone uses different colors in a different order. We make lots of cords with a knitting nancy, which we then thread through a crocheted mesh grid. An eye-catcher in any child’s room.

Another Board Game

You may know this one too. This version is very soft and can be rolled up and taken along on an outing. The game pieces are included.

Doll Clothes
You can crochet a 3-piece set made up of a wide, swingy skirt, a top, and a bolero.

Two Small Colorful Buckets
These are also very practical and quick to crochet from leftover cotton yarn. The former yogurt buckets will have room for lots of colored pencils, brushes, scissors, etc. And the kids’ desk stays tidy.

Princess Bed

For the crafty ones among you, this would be a lovely handmade gift: a bed built from plywood, glued together, and painted. Plus sewn bedding and crocheted pillows. A dream for all doll mommies.

Doll Clothes Swing Series

Lots of lovely designs that can be wonderfully combined.

One More Board Game

This one is also in a portable and washable version - made entirely of wool. Of course with game pieces and a matching bag.

Doll Clothes
This 2-piece set consists of a close-fitting slim dress and a matching little jacket.

Below I’ll show you a few sweet pieces of jewelry from my shop - little and big girls will love them:

Here’s the pattern

********************************************************

2) Jewelry set "Star Magic" - set consisting of earrings and bracelet.
This sweet set is quick to crochet and, thanks to the light weight of the pieces, very comfortable to wear. You can very easily make the bracelet into a wrap bracelet or anklet by lengthening it accordingly. The bracelet is crocheted in one piece.

With these cool hair wraps you’ll bring good cheer to the cold winter days.

6) The sweet wrap bracelet is quick to crochet, looks enchanting, and is super comfortable to wear.
The bracelet can also be worn very sweetly as an anklet, and if lengthened accordingly, it becomes a chic, delicate belt. It is crocheted in one piece, so there’s no annoying weaving in of ends (only the starting and ending threads).

7) This sweet wrap bracelet is quick to crochet and an absolute eye-catcher.  The same applies here: if you simply lengthen the bracelet, it becomes a trendy anklet or a chic belt.

For toddlers ages 1 and up, warm clothing is always a great gift. These leggings made from sock yarn won’t slip down because they have straps. They also grow with the child—simply fold up the cuffs and unfold them later. Plus, the straps are adjustable. A narrow cable pattern is incorporated along the sides. Recommended for experienced knitters.

Exactly one month until Christmas Eve — that’s still plenty of time to knit a loop scarf. Or maybe even two? These two designs are something very special and are sure to bring sparkling eyes under the Christmas tree! Both loop scarves are knitted in double-face and can therefore be worn on both sides.

Children are always delighted when we make clothing for their favorites—their teddy bears and dolls. A new model has just moved into my shop: overalls for teddy bears measuring 25–30 cm.

The overalls have no buttons, so they are very easy to put on and take off. They are knitted top-down in the round, and every  step is explained clearly, making them a joy to recreate.

The pattern includes information for two different yarn weights.
