The Animal of the Year 2020!
Moles aren’t exactly popular with gardeners—very unfairly, because they are extremely useful animals. But no matter how you feel about moles, no one can resist Poldi the mole, because he definitely won’t cause any damage. Instead, he loves it when you stroke his soft fur and give him a little cuddle every now and then.
You can crochet Poldi the Mole using velvet yarn (left picture) or cotton yarn (right picture).
The crochet pattern for Poldi the Mole is available here!

And here’s another garden-loving character:
The Flower Child Dandelion also feels right at home on your windowsill or seasonal table among other flowers and plants. It’s about 12 cm tall and can be crocheted using just a few pieces of leftover yarn (yellow, green, skin-tone, white). Have fun!

The cheerful, colorful bouquet of flowers in an umbrella is a lovely eye-catcher on a door, a wall, or on a table or shelf.

It’s easy to crochet and also makes a wonderful gift or little present to bring along.

Difficulty level: easy, suitable for ambitious beginners and advanced crocheters.

These Doubleface-knit potholders “Flamingo Love” also make a great weekend project. The chart does take a little concentration, but it’s a wonderful way for your brain to switch off from everyday stress :-) Double knitting makes the potholders really nice and dense.

For all dog lovers, the “Happy Dog” dishcloth is a perfect weekend project. It is also knitted in Doubleface. The cheerful dog puts you in a good mood while you’re knitting!

Spiral socks can be a lovely project for a relaxed weekend.

The project is small and handy and fits in any bag to take along.

Spiral socks are easy to make, because they are knitted without a heel and therefore fit across many sizes.

This clothing set for dolls (40–50 cm) is the matching partner-look outfit for the colorful summer skirt. It was knitted from the leftover yarn from that project. Very easy to make with the pattern, which explains everything clearly.

And here is the matching summer skirt for little girls (ages 3–4). A similar knitting technique is used here. However, the waistband is worked a little differently, here with a picot edge that has elastic threaded through it. This also makes the skirt easy to put on and take off independently.

A colorful button-up collar scarf like this, which can be worn in different ways, is easy to knit using sock yarn or other colorful leftover yarn. Very practical for anyone who doesn’t like scarves or simply wants to keep their bare neck warm. Very easy to knit.
