This is a great project for a long weekend! Crochet a basic set of hand puppets for your puppet theater! Crocheted Punch and Judy figures have many advantages: they are easy-care, sturdy, and don't break so quickly if they get tossed around. The crocheted heads are lightweight and easy for smaller children to hold, too.

In this bargain bundle, you’ll get the crochet patterns for 6 main characters: Kasperl, Gretel, Seppel, Grandmother, Crocodile, and Robber. You can use up leftover yarn you already have and let your creativity run free: this gives your Kasperl figures your very own personal touch!

So, download the crochet pattern for this affordable bargain bundle right here and you can get started right away.

and if you enjoyed it and want to crochet even more figures, you’ll find more here:

These two retro-style crocheted pot holders fit into any kitchen and are reminiscent of Grandma’s old polka-dot coffee set. They’re crocheted in double layers so you can slip your hand right in, just like a glove.
The project uses cotton yarn with a yardage of 125 m / 50 g (e.g., Catania by Schachenmayr). For each of the two pot holders shown, you’ll need about 60 g each in dark blue, dark red, and white.

How about some new doll clothes? Little doll mommies will be delighted when they dress their little ones in this set. It is very easy to knit and fits dolls measuring 43-50 cm.

There is also a skirt for little girls (3-4 years) in a matching look. It is knitted at the top with a picot edge and then flares out with pleats. Very easy to make if you have good knitting experience.

This collar scarf made from sock yarn can be buttoned at the front and worn in different ways: either like a scarf or simply as a collar. It’s perfect for using up leftover yarn and makes a great weekend project.

The long weekend is the perfect time for an exciting knitting project! Here are three different bread baskets to choose from—in various sizes and designs: “Breakfast for You” for the single household, “Have a Lovely Day” for the whole family, and “Breakfast for Two” for the couple in love, complete with lots of hearts. All the models shown are knitted using the double-face technique, and the basket bottom is crocheted in each case.
For those who are up for the challenge, there’s even a very special version in addition to the standard double-face version, where both sides are knitted differently (so that the text appears the right way around on both sides). It’s tricky, but it’s addictive :-)

Spicy Autumn is a lightweight yet very elegant scarf. It can also be worn as a poncho.
With just 200g of yarn with a yardage of 600m per 100g, you can knit a great summer scarf.
The pattern is explained in detail and also shown in a chart.

We are two Finkli (baby shoes) and we belong together, which is why we are called a pair of Finkli or baby shoes. We are soft and keep little feet nice and warm.
The babies who receive us don't want any others and are happy to wear us. We are quick to knit and super brilliantly easy
to make.
Colorful and bright yarn scraps are very welcome here, which is perfect for combining.

This is not the end of our story! It continues in an exciting way at the following link:

Hand-crocheted flower/decorative wreath in bright, vibrant colors, where leftover yarn is also welcome. A special eye-catcher in any
home and a decorative piece for every door or entrance area. Suitable for every
season.

Only a small amount of yarn is needed to make one flower, so these can be crocheted from yarn scraps. Ideal
use for leftovers!

1) Wonderfully airy and light to wear, this chic tunic "Rosenrot" is quick and easy to crochet, yet has a sophisticated touch thanks to the tie belt, slanted shoulders, and rounded corners. The yarn is made of 100% virgin wool and is a real lightweight. Worn over a long-sleeve shirt or a fitted dress, it’s a great garment for the whole year.

2) Tunic "Pocahontas": This beautiful tunic is crocheted from the side. Since the color gradient comes directly from the Bobbel, it is very easy to crochet. Different styling and wearing options are possible thanks to the small tie belt.

3) soul warmer "Safia" - This classically beautiful design conveys cozy serenity—a timeless basic piece that makes a wonderful addition to your wardrobe. The pattern is easy and works up quickly. The cut is also simple and can easily be adapted to any size.

For the small granny set Zugaku you only need a total of 6 g of crochet thread.
Zugaku can be crocheted quickly in one day.

You can use the individual pieces as coasters, or make several of them and sew them together into various items such as table runners, placemats, or similar things.

The PDF file consists of two pages.

How about a colorful container for all sorts of odds and ends?

It is crocheted in spiral rounds, and you can use as many colors as your scrap bin has to offer. For the pattern, you’ll need to know single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet stitches.

A pretty dishcloth for the kitchen or as a gift when you’re invited to a Whitsun gathering.

The same pattern was used here and crocheted in rows. Each row can be crocheted in a new color.

Knitting pattern for a spring hat with an airy lace pattern and a fun point

The pattern can be made in 3 sizes (0–24 months)

This baby blanket is also a lovely project to knit over the long Pentecost weekend. You can achieve the cable look without a cable needle—it’s made entirely with knit and purl stitches.
