The crinkle cloth in the Mathilde Unicorn design is a classic and makes a wonderful gift for a birth. At the same time, you can use up colorful leftover yarn. Without crinkle film, it can of course also simply be made as a cuddle cloth.

Crinkle Cloth Unicorn

The Giraffe Lucky Child can also be crocheted as a crinkle cloth or cuddle cloth. Its design is neutral, so it can be given as a birth gift for both girls and boys.

And if you want to stock a play shop or a play kitchen, this pattern for a colorful fruit basket with a total of 10 types of fruit in different versions is just right. Here, too, you can use up some leftover yarn, because the more varied the colors, the more natural the fruit looks.

   Fruit for the Play Shop

All patterns were crocheted with a cotton yarn with a yardage of 125 m/50 g and a size 3 crochet hook
Thanks to the detailed photos, they are suitable for ambitious beginners, and I’m also happy to help if you have any questions.

Have fun crocheting :)

Mini Cuddle Cloth Duck Mia
great for leftover yarn and a quick project in between

-- to the pattern --

The Mini Cuddle Cloth Duck Mia is a faithful companion for every little newborn.

As always, the pattern is richly illustrated and explains in detail how you can crochet this cuddle cloth yourself, even as an ambitious beginner .

The crocheted duck is 13.5 cm wide and 11 cm long.
I used just under 30 g of cotton yarn (yardage 115 m/50 g, e.g. Gründl Cotton Fun).

A unique decoration for your home and/or your breakfast table.

The cheerful caterpillar made from sponge yarn is a colorful eye-catcher in the bathroom and also a practical bath sponge that makes bath time even more fun for babies and children. But the caterpillar looks great for adults, too.

Difficulty level: easy, suitable for beginners
The caterpillar is simply crocheted from single crochet stitches in spiral rounds. Lots of photos show you the completion step by step.

Yes, if only you could escape somewhere on an ark...

The “Noah’s Ark” door wreath is a crochet project that you might especially enjoy making right now, while you’re spending all your time at home, because it’s cheerfully colorful and a fun, varied project. The ark, the rainbow, and many different animals (lions, elephants, monkeys, giraffes, doves, fish...)
are made from lots of colorful leftover yarn. The door wreath looks especially lovely on a child’s bedroom door and makes a wonderful, personal gift for a new baby or a baptism.

The cute colorful little mice are a great project for making good use of small amounts of leftover yarn. The mice are very easy and quick to crochet and can be used for money gifts or as keychains. And if you have a cat at home, maybe you’ll make it happy with a toy mouse like this?

You can knit colorful and cheerful socks using sock yarn in your favorite color.
These ones—with the mowi heel—are especially easy to knit, even if you’ve never dared to tackle the heel before. Just give it a try.

The pattern includes 4 different sizes, explained step by step—using 3 needles.

A colorful children’s jacket with a hood and pockets made of merino wool - that’s just right now that the little ones are playing outside again. The jacket is knitted top-down with raglan and is a lovely project for advanced knitters. The jacket described fits sizes 92-104, so it will fit for quite a while.

The ugly tissue box can be decoratively hidden with this pretty crochet piece so well that it even fits on the dining table. Colorful leftover yarn is more than enough here and can be used very creatively. Decorated with butterflies and hearts, this also makes a nice Easter gift.

Easy to make, even for beginners.

So you don’t have to miss out on the beauty of spring flowers even at home, you can make these paper tulips —in your favorite color and as many as you want.

These paper tulips are made from photo cardstock, construction paper, and crepe paper and are about 34 cm tall. They’re very easy to make: Much of the process is already clear from the photos, and the craft instructions describe the entire assembly process in detail.

Colorful & cheerful classics are definitely the crocheted tulips
Easy to crochet, quick to make with leftover yarn - a lovely way to conjure up fresh little flowers for your table!

The bunny gang is also a pretty colorful and cheerful bunch ♥
The crochet pattern is very detailed - so even beginners can follow along easily.
The little bunnies are only about 20 cm tall (with ears!) and the Easter eggs just under 6 cm.

For anyone who loves color, these flowers are a must-have!

Their uses are virtually endless—you can use them to decorate gift wrapping, adorn your door wreaths, arrange them on a canvas to create a colorful picture, turn them into jewelry, and so much more…

The pattern includes template drawings for 3 flower shapes, each in 5 to 7 sizes ranging from about 3 to 7.5 cm, as well as circle templates for flower centers. The flowers are very easy to make and are ideal for beginners as well as for crafting with children.
