During the holidays, you might have a little more time for crafting and start a somewhat larger project.

How about hand puppets for a puppet theater? You can crochet one puppet after another little by little and decide for yourself how many you make. There are no limits to your imagination.

Crocheted hand puppets have the advantage that they are very sturdy and can withstand a lot, even if things get a bit rough sometimes. They are also not difficult to make and can be created using leftover yarn you already have.

In my shop you’ll find numerous patterns for them:

With the
Hand Puppet Bundle  you can save quite a bit right away. You get 6 patterns at once and already have the most important characters together: Kasperl, crocodile, grandmother, robber, Seppel, and Gretel.

There is a second bundle with the royal family:
Here you get the crochet patterns for the king, princess, and prince in one package.

In my Hand Puppets collection    you’ll find even more patterns, for example the newest one:

Just take a look and get inspired!

Socks are also great to knit on vacation. They require very little yarn, and this pattern even uses just 3 needles.

What makes this pattern special is the mowi heel—it’s incredibly easy to knit. You’ll be able to manage it even if you’ve been hesitant to knit a heel before.

The pattern includes several sizes, so now the whole family can get new socks from you.

These fun ladybug pot holders are a great weekend project. They add a splash of color to the kitchen and are perfect for hot pots and baking sheets.

Easy to crochet, even for beginners with basic skills.

A little pouch like this for 10 Tempo tissues can be crocheted wonderfully from colorful leftover yarn. You’re guaranteed to finish it in one weekend. It’s also great to crochet while traveling.

That way you’ll always have a nice gift ready, even matching clothing or other items.

Easy to crochet, also for beginners with basic knowledge. Several variations are presented in the pattern.

A relaxed weekend or the holidays could be a good opportunity to try something new. How about an extraordinary eye-catcher for your home or as a gift for someone dear to you?

The bonsai trees made of beads and wire are easy to recreate, even if you have never worked with beads and wire before. In the patterns, every single step is explained in detail and shown with photos.

Crochet pattern blanket/ baby blanket

Wintertime is cuddle time, and this blanket is perfect for exactly that. It can be made with any yarn and hook size, but the cable pattern only really shows up beautifully from hook size 3.5 onward.

The pattern is not suitable for gradient yarns and you should consider yourself more of an advanced crocheter.
You can crochet it using written instructions, or work from the crochet chart.

Click here to go directly to the pattern:

The amount of material needed depends on the size of the blanket, yarn, and hook size:Example size: 95 cm x 80 cm

  • Approx. 1500 m Alize Bebe LL= 320 m/ 100 g
  • Crochet hook matching the yarn (here size 4)

Here are a few knitting patterns for a few days off to enjoy

Knitting pattern for a baby blanket in a lovely pattern of knit and purl stitches. The pattern was written for a baby blanket, but you can easily knit it for adults too by adding a few more pattern repeats.

Spiral socks are socks without a heel. This means they fit several sizes and grow with the wearer. In my pattern, I list sizes 14–18 up to shoe size 46–47. The loop pattern is explained in detail with pictures.

And this knitting pattern also promises relaxation on the couch.

The scarf is started at the tip and can be adjusted to your desired size. For this pattern, you’ll need to know knit and purl stitches.

These 3 projects are very well suited as weekend crochet projects, because the decorations can really be made quite quickly.

Little angels - for more information about the pattern, please click here  O

What could be lovelier at Christmastime than hand-crocheted little angels! Crochet thread in white or even leftover crochet thread, a crochet hook,
some beads and a little time. The decorations can be made quite quickly and
bring joy for a long time when they are given as gifts.

I’d like to suggest a wonderful decoration that can be made quickly and easily in three steps. First you need to
crochet a little, then fold and decorate everything with beads. The decorations (size
approx. 8 cm x 10 cm) are perfect as Christmas tree ornaments for Christmas.

Snowflakes, more information about the pattern - please click here    O

No snow outside in winter? The hand-crocheted snowflakes, e.g. in the window, create a wintry atmosphere and of course
Christmas spirit.  The snowflakes
are ideal as a base for tea lights, cups or as Christmas tree ornaments

No sign of snow? That has its good sides, too...
But if you’re missing a real winter, then maybe this cheerful snowman family can help cheer you up a little.

This window decoration is made from cardstock and tracing paper and is quite large at approx. 66 x 49 cm. With a little experience cutting with a craft knife, you can finish making this picture in a weekend.

This collar was knitted with thick yarn and was finished in just one day.

This pattern uses both knit and purl stitches. If you’re comfortable with circular needles, even beginners can give this pattern a try.

The instructions are written in detail, round by round. You’ll also find a knitting chart.
