Dear users, dear authors,
how about a few gray or green animals? They are sweet, decorative and looking forward to going into the garden with you. Give a mouse, donkey, frog and crocodile a new home now.

@Authors,
2–3 patterns per author are enough. Don’t forget the link and image, as well as the usual information.

How about this giant mouse?

A true cat’s dream, this fat prey offers cozy space for full-grown cats and is also a real eye-catcher, because even without a cat this model looks very decorative.

Crochet pattern Cat’s Dream "Fat Prey"

Only chain stitches and single crochet are used to make it.
You should be familiar with increasing and decreasing stitches as well as the magic ring, so even as a beginner you can follow the pattern easily.

As always, the pattern is written in a beginner-friendly way without abbreviations.

Isn’t this a cute keychain? The little seal is about 8 cm long and fits on any key ring. You can crochet it from leftover gray cotton yarn. (I used Catania by Schachenmayr here (LL 125m/50g, color silver gray).)

Making it yourself is very easy, because the pattern is written out round by round, so all you have to do is crochet the stitches. Even beginners can do it, since only basic stitches are required.

The elephant at the beach!

The little elephant’s name is Bully, and he’s already looking forward to summer, when he can launch his little boat at the beach. He’s super soft and fluffy and loves being cuddled.
He’s best crocheted using fluffy yarn. To make things easier for you, the pattern includes plenty of tips on how to work with this yarn. For example, stitch markers help with counting stitches. Using gray carry-along yarn makes the stitches easier to see.

But if that seems too complicated, you can of course crochet Bully using a different gray yarn. He’ll still turn out very cute—take a look:

On the left, you can see him crocheted with acrylic yarn (Bravo by Schachenmayr), and on the right, with fluffy yarn (Phil douce by Phildar).

I’m also a gray animal, even if knitted as baby booties!

You simply have to love these sweet little mice,
and with the well-explained pattern, they’re quick to knit too.

Here is the pattern for them!

You need 50 g of gray baby yarn and scraps in pink and black,
a set of double-pointed needles size 3 and 4 beads for the eyes.

Little frogs as baby booties are something special too!

Knitted from slightly thicker baby yarn, they turn out simply lovely.

Here is the little frogs pattern

The pattern is very simple and easy to follow,

it is knitted mostly with knit and purl stitches.
the eyes are embroidered.

Donnie Donkey is by no means a stubborn donkey. At 44 cm long, he is truly cuddly and ideal for snuggling all day long.
I personally recommend cotton yarn for making all of my amigurumis.
The pattern includes many step-by-step photos that make it easier to follow. However, basic crochet skills (single crochet, increases/decreases, etc.) are required.
The following materials are needed to make it:
  • 250 g cotton yarn in light gray
  • 50 g cotton yarn in dark gray
  • 50 g cotton yarn in white
  • 50 g cotton yarn in black
  • leftover cotton yarn in red
  • one pair of safety eyes, 15 mm, in brown-black
  • stuffing
  • crochet hook size 3

How about a green teddy bear for a change? Timmy the XXL teddy bear is crocheted in beautiful shades of green.
He makes a wonderful gift for a birthday, Christmas, or other special occasions.
So why not crochet yourself this cuddly XXL teddy bear with fluffy yarn?

Timmy’s arms and legs are made with joint discs, making them fully movable. You’ll receive a detailed 22-page pattern with lots of photos for easy follow-along.
Also suitable for ambitious beginners.

Materials needed:
  • Crocheted with yarn, hook size 3–3.5, 160 m/50 g, in white (1 ball of 50 g), petrol (2 balls of 50 g), and mint (3 balls of 50 g). In this case, I used "Lara von Feria" fluffy yarn.
  • Crochet hooks size 3.5 and 4.5
  • Darning needle, long threading needle, pins
  • 4 joint discs Ø 35 mm, 2 safety eyes size 12 mm
  • Stuffing, pom-pom maker size 3 cm and 7 cm

Click here for the crochet pattern for the door-guardian owl

I may be green, but I can change my color too. I’m green when my roommate opens the entrance. Then I hang out on the door handle and I’m totally relaxed. But when I’m supposed to show that my roommate wants some peace and quiet, I can turn red too.

I’m very easy to crochet; you can manage it even as a beginner with basic skills. In the pattern, you’ll find all the steps clearly described. That’s why I had several photo shoots during the creation phase. ;-)

Oh yes, by the way, I also have a colleague in case you don’t like owls that much ... which I would think is a shame, by the way. My colleague is a little bear, and he keeps watch at the room door just as well as I do.

Whether big or small, I’m loved by everyone. By you too?

Oh yes, and if you want both patterns right away, there’s a value bundle for that — via this  link.

Crochet pattern for an "Elephant" comforter

With a yarn length of 133 m per gram (in my case), the elephant will be approx. 17 cm high and 28 cm wide (measured without the ears and feet). The crochet stitches used are chain stitches, single crochet, and double crochet.

Thanks to the richly illustrated pattern, the elephant is easy to recreate. Click here for the pattern

How about turning into a gray animal? Maybe a wolf?
This printable wolf mask will transform your child into a dangerous (or very sweet :-)) animal in no time, and the game can begin!

Since the mask only needs to be printed out, cut out, and fitted with elastic cord, it's very easy to make.

The hippo covers are a real eye-catcher in mint green and gray!

Use them in summer for cooling pads and in winter for grain pillows!

Here’s the pattern

Besides mint green and gray, you’ll also need the color “natural” and a little stuffing.

Hello, my name is Ernesto

Yes, I am a little shy...

The crochet pattern is available here:

If you crochet me with hook size 3 and polyacrylic yarn 120m/50g, I’ll be an impressive 50 cm tall!

OK, with my ears standing up...
