But I’m almost done now, even though I had to rush to finish an extra project at the last minute right before my vacation. But that’s done too, and I’ll be off work by 3.

Next week, I’m on vacation. That means time for my kids, for myself, and also for my crafts.

Hey there! Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend!!!! I’m doing great because I’ve just kicked off a lovely week of vacation. Our Easter break also starts today, so I have a full ten days off from work and school—plenty of time to tackle some craft projects. I’ll be spending time with my dog, taking care of the house, and spending time with my son—and doing lots of crocheting, too. I’m really looking forward to it because I plan to pop into a few craft stores next week to check out the latest yarn arrivals. Oh, and of course, I’ll also be doing some schoolwork—just on the side.

For me, the weekend is shaping up to be a nervous one—my old cat (17 years old) has been causing me worry for quite some time now. We’ve decided to go ahead with surgery, though the chances of him waking up from anesthesia are 50/50. The procedure is scheduled for early tomorrow morning, and I hope it will give him a few more happy years.

Dear Petra, I wish your cat all the best and am keeping my fingers crossed that he gets through the surgery just fine.

Dear Petra, I hope you and your cat can enjoy each other’s company for a long time to come. :-)

We went out to eat today without our child. It was so nice. It really did us a world of good.

Petra, I’m keeping my fingers firmly crossed for your Sternje! 17 years is quite an impressive age—let’s hope a few more years are added to that!

I just picked up my Stjerne; he survived the surgery and is still a bit groggy—we’ll see how he does over the next few days.
But I’m overjoyed and plan to spend the rest of the weekend relaxing. Thank you for your kind words.

Thank you very much, also on behalf of my cat—I actually wanted to take a picture of him, but he just keeps hiding, and he hasn’t eaten anything yet. All of this has really taken a toll on him, so let’s hope things start looking up.
