Even if it doesn't look like it, I firmly believe that spring will arrive soon. But a lightweight infinity scarf is also very useful during the transitional season.
This one is knitted from sock yarn and is therefore truly lightweight. The pattern isn't quite suitable for absolute beginners, but it certainly isn't difficult and, above all, is very relaxing to knit—just right for a cozy weekend on the sofa.

You can find the pattern here.

If you’d like to quickly use up a few leftover sock yarn bits over the weekend and also urgently need packaging for little chocolate Easter bunnies, you can simply knit these. A small handmade gift bag looks great and can be reused later, too.

Here’s the pattern.

I knitted these baby socks over a weekend. They’re made from leftover yarn, and with these colors, they welcome spring. Get them now—they’re very easy to knit, with my easy heel.

             Cute baby socks, approx.

0–5 months
The sun is shining here right now; sitting outside in a sheltered spot and knitting a few rows is pure relaxation.

Have fun.

Leftover-yarn pattern, bestseller, Easter-themed - these colorful bunnies are the perfect project for the coming weekend!

Crochet these cute little bunnies from your colorful mini leftover yarn scraps. They make a great table decoration, but can also be hung on an Easter branch or used as flower picks. They’re super easy and quick to crochet, so you’ll still be able to make quite a few by Easter. Warning: Highly addictive!

How about an Easter egg for your four-legged friends?
Animals enjoy an Easter surprise too, especially when it’s such “fat prey.”

Crochet pattern Cat Dream “Fat Prey”

Only chain stitches and single crochet are used to make it.
You should be familiar with increasing and decreasing stitches as well as the magic ring,
so even as a beginner you can follow the pattern easily.

Are you still looking for pretty surprise packaging for a money gift or a small item?
Then crochet the Easter bunny or the chick around an empty Kinder Surprise egg capsule! You can hide your surprise inside.
The bunny and chick shown here were crocheted with fluffy yarn: Phil douce by Phildar (bunny) and Baby Teddy by Rico (chick). This makes them look especially fluffy and cuddly. Of course, you can also use cotton yarn (e.g., the tried-and-true Catania by Schachenmayr) if you prefer. In any case, you only need small leftovers.

Whether made from a Bobbel or leftover yarn:

Crochet pattern for the FARBENSPIEL triangular shawl

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Colors are always fun, and a shawl like this in your desired size is quick and easy to crochet .

These crochet skills are enough:
chain stitches, single crochet and slip stitches (all explained with pictures)

Materials:
Basically, you can use any yarn you like with a suitable hook size; it’s especially suitable for fine yarns, lace yarns / gradient yarns (e.g. Bobbel).

For the size crocheted here, I used: approx. 350 g total of Limone/Catania cotton yarn, 100% cotton, 50 g – 125 m, any color choice, here 8 colors (some leftover yarn); according to the label for hook size 2.5 – 3.5; used here: 3.5 crochet hook.
You will also need: yarn needle for weaving in ends, scissors. A stitch marker is helpful for beginners, pins for blocking.

Way up north, there are very special sheep...pincushion sheep. They stand on their little hills decorated with buttons and have adorned themselves with colorful pins, and whenever someone needs their help, they are right there. They make sure you always have a needle at hand.

The crochet pattern for the little pincushion sheep includes 21 pages and is filled with many photos. It contains step-by-step instructions and is also well suited for beginners.

Use your desired yarn:
Conversion table for yarn quantity, alternative yarn for knitting and crochet

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This is an Excel spreadsheet for automatically converting a yarn quantity from the "original yarn" to an "alternative yarn" of your choice.

Example:
The original yarn listed in the relevant pattern has a yardage of 85 m per 50 g. According to the instructions there, 600 g of this "original yarn" is required for your personal size. But you want to make your desired piece with a different yarn (= alternative yarn). This desired yarn has a yardage of 70 m per 50 g skein. Now simply enter this information into the Excel spreadsheet, and the required quantity of your desired yarn will immediately be shown in skeins and grams.

A gauge swatch is always advisable. To determine the number of stitches needed for your individual knitted piece, the simple version of my Excel conversion table for your gauge is included as a bonus.

Important technical note:
To open an Excel spreadsheet, a so-called spreadsheet program such as Excel, LibreOffice (available free of charge http://de.libreoffice.org/) or OpenOffice (available free of charge http://www.openoffice.org/de/) must be installed. Open the file by double-clicking it, and when the message "Protected View" appears, please click "Enable Editing"

Have fun and success with all your projects!

If the weather just won’t improve, you’ll need an indoor activity—preferably one that the whole family can join in on. If you have kids old enough to do crafts, these egg cups are a great option, as they’re perfect for both beginners and for crafting with kids.

The egg cups are made from cardstock; for each cup, you’ll need just one sheet of green A4 paper and some colorful scraps.

A great weekend project is this cowl and shoulder warmer. It’s quickly knitted from one skein of cotton and extremely practical under a sweater or jacket. A cowl like this really proves its worth during transitional weather. And if it gets too warm, you can simply take it off and tuck it into your handbag.

The pattern is optimized for beginners, has no abbreviations, and is written in a print-friendly format. Basic knowledge is required, though.

Here’s the knitting pattern for the cowl / shoulder warmer.

Triangle Shawl "Aquamarine"

This modern, airy triangle shawl is crocheted from one side to the other. It features an intricate lace pattern.

Although it’s crocheted from the side, the shawl is completely symmetrical.
The beautiful pattern is a combination of double crochets, chain stitches, and single crochets.

The ideal summer shawl—airy, lightweight, and easy to pair with anything.

You can still start some lovely crochet projects on Sunday, too. Here are a few from my shop that I’d like to show you:

Triangular Shawl BOBBEL-LIENCHEN
For this shawl, you only need one yarn cake with 750 m of yardage. Once blocked, the shawl measures approx. 175 x 55 cm. It is crocheted sideways, which creates a different color gradient than with shawls that are started at the tip.
--> Get the pattern here: Triangular Shawl BOBBEL-LIENCHEN

Egg Cozy SCHMETTERLINGSFLUG
For these cheerfully colorful egg cozies, you only need leftover yarn and you’re ready to get started.
--> Get the crochet pattern here: Egg Cozy SCHMETTERLINGSFLUG

Crocheted Pillow SMILE
This pillow in rainbow colors is not only a cozy cuddle pillow, but also a beautiful decorative pillow. You can really go all out with the colors here, or keep things subtle—just as you like.
--> Get the crochet pattern here: Pillow SMILE
