Click here to go directly to the pattern These little monkeys are simply adorable. With the help of this very detailed 20-page pattern, you can crochet these little monkeys yourself, and plenty of pictures will help you along the way. Depending on the yarn used, these monkeys will be about 30–40 cm tall, making them the perfect size for cuddling and playing. To crochet the monkeys, you’ll need: A size 2–3 crochet hook, depending on the yarn you use. Yarn: You can use any yarn, but cotton yarn is ideal—or fluffy yarn if you want to crochet a plush monkey. I used myboshi’s “Favorite Colors No. 2”: the color ochre for the body (approx. 2x50g), the color natural for the feet, hands, face, and belly (approx. 2x50g), and leftover pink yarn for the nose. The fluffy little monkey was crocheted using Lana Grossa Estivo (2x50g) for the body, and the natural color for the feet, hands, face, and belly (approx. 2x50g) from myboshi’s Favorite Colors No. 2. However, you can use any yarn from your stash that matches the color scheme; just keep in mind that this will affect the size of the finished figure. My monkey made with myboshi Favorite Colors No. 2 is about 30 cm tall; the monkey made with the fluffy yarn is slightly larger, about 40 cm. Black sewing thread for the facial embroidery (I used 6-ply sewing thread). If you use a different type of yarn, you may need to adjust the yarn quantities accordingly. A darning needle for weaving in ends; a pair of scissors; a stitch marker or a thread in a contrasting color to mark the beginning of each round; sewing thread in a matching color to sew the head, eyes, arms, and legs in place. Stuffing, small black beads for the eyes, craft pliers To crochet the little monkeys, you’ll need to know how to do the following: Single crochet (sc), decreases, increases, slip stitch, magic ring.

Especially for Easter, a cuddly, self-crocheted bunny like this is the perfect gift!

To make it easier for me to work with the fluffy yarn (I used Rico baby Teddy), I use thin cotton yarn as a carry-along thread, because it makes the stitches easier to see. Marker threads, placed at short intervals, also help with better orientation.

The bunny will be about 30 cm tall and wears blue overalls with little pink hearts. The overalls are crocheted on, so they cannot be put on or taken off. The little bunny also comes with a pink basket with colorful crocheted Easter eggs, which you can of course replace with chocolate eggs if you like.

Of course, you can also crochet the bunny with “normal” yarn, but it will only be this soft and cuddly with fluffy yarn. Give it a try—it’s worth it!

Here you’ll find more detailed material information and can download the pattern right away!

Click here for the Cuddly-Eared Koala
You’ll need just a tiny bit of fluffy yarn or eyelash yarn for the Koala heating pad cover.
Other than that, you’ll need cotton yarn (you’ll find more details in the product description)

The pattern also explains how you can easily turn it into a comforter cloth!

Get started now and use up even the tiniest scraps of your cozy yarn!

Isn’t this little crocheted elephant cute?
Thanks to the fluffy yarn used (Phil douce by Phildar), it’s incredibly soft—you’ll want to keep stroking it. The pattern includes tips on how to work with this yarn. If you do happen to make a mistake or two, it’s no big deal: the yarn is “forgiving” since you can’t see the stitches. Of course, you can also crochet this little elephant using a different type of yarn (e.g., acrylic yarn), but it won’t be quite as cuddly. The elephant (all the gray parts) is crocheted using only single crochet stitches. For the swim ring, the hat, the boat, the tusks, and the soles of the feet, I used cotton yarn.

Kiki the squirrel is crocheted from cotton yarn (Catania by Schachenmayr). I only used a fringe yarn (Peppina by Lana Grossa) for the tail and the ear tips so they turn out nice and fluffy. The yarn has a very long pile and is not exactly easy to work with. But since you only need to crochet single crochet stitches with it, it’s not quite so difficult, especially since small mistakes won’t show. It’s important that you always mark the end of the round and make sure to keep to the specified stitch count. The result will reward you for your effort!

A cute little hedgehog egg cozy can be found here.

The little hedgehog is approx. 5 cm in diameter and is quick and easy to make.

You need:
  • eyelash yarn, length 90 m / 50 g, e.g. Brazilia by Schachenmayr
  • crochet thread in beige, length approx. 300 m / 50 g
  • a little black crochet thread for embroidering the eyes, nose, and mouth
  • crochet hooks in sizes 5 and 1.5
  • a little stuffing
  • stitch marker or safety pin - necessary when crocheting with eyelash yarn
  • row counter or paper and pencil to note the number of rounds already crocheted - necessary when crocheting with eyelash yarn
  • comb or hairbrush with thin teeth, or cat brush
  • blunt sewing needle and scissors

I hope you have fun crocheting!

The material Kid Silk or Kid Seta (depending on the manufacturer) is fluffy and soft:

Feather-light knitted poncho/stole

(Please click the image to purchase/download)

One size - the stitch pattern and shape are absolutely suitable for beginners.

This is a short pattern for a feather-light, very easy-to-knit one-size poncho made from only 100 g of KidSilk (Austermann).

The PDF pattern includes the preview image.

By the way:
Beginners should use yarns without mohair (mohair can hardly be unraveled).

The poncho can also be knitted nicely as a warm outdoor poncho with bulky yarn, 100 g - 100 m, using size 8.0 needles. The required amount of yarn is then approx. 700 g. The number of stitches always depends on your individual gauge.
To convert your individual gauge, I recommend this:
READ instead of calculating - PDF table for knitting and crochet
as well as my blog post: Converting gauge - here's how it works..

These knitting skills are enough:
casting on stitches, edge stitch (your favorite edge stitch), knit and purl stitches, bind off.

Also made from Kid Silk or Kid Seta:

A Touch of Something.. Reversible Loop/Hooded Scarf - One Size - easy to knit

.. versatile to wear e.g. as a reversible loop / hooded scarf / shoulder warmer.

One size – easy to knit.

The PDF pattern includes pictures from the image gallery.

These basic knitting skills are needed:
casting on stitches, knit and purl stitches, knit 2 stitches together, increase 1 stitch, knitting in the round, binding off.

We need:
just under 50 g Austermann Kid Silk (75% kid mohair, 25% silk, 25 g/225 m yardage (hand wash), needle size 3–4;
used here: 3.5 circular knitting needle, stitch marker, yarn needle for sewing in ends, measuring tape, scissors

For knitting beginners, I recommend using appropriately thin (lace) yarns without mohair (mohair does not forgive mistakes and can hardly be unraveled) with comparable yardage and gauge.

For converting the gauge, I recommend:

Looking for a way to use up your fuzzy yarn?
It works wonderfully with the cheeky teddy bear gang!

The “big” bear was crocheted using the same pattern as the little bears, but with two strands of yarn.
For the body, I simply used one strand of fuzzy yarn and one strand of regular cotton yarn, so you can still see the stitches clearly.

All you need to know to make the bears are chains and single crochet stitches, so the richly illustrated step-by-step pattern is absolutely perfect for beginners.

Get the pattern here and get started right away!

Have fun! :)
