Easter - of course there have to be bunnies!
very small ones, like these colorful little bunnies

which are very easy to crochet and look very decorative on an Easter branch,

or larger ones, like these bunny egg cozies,

that will brighten up any breakfast table during the Easter season,

or real cuddly bunnies,

like the white bunny Purzel, which is crocheted from fluffy yarn and is truly plush.

All the bunnies are not difficult to crochet and can be made from leftover yarn. For the smaller ones, tiny amounts of just a few grams are enough; for Purzel's fur, you need just under one skein of the fluffy yarn.

Easter time—springtime—the first little flowers are already peeking out of the ground. Using a bit of leftover yarn, you can crochet various flower children with their flowers. They make a beautiful decoration for the Easter table, but they’ll also brighten up your home before and after Easter!

The first spring flowers are:
pussy willow,

the daisy ,

the cowslip,

the snowdrop, and the bellflower
All the flower children are about 13 cm tall and hold their own blossoms. They have movable arms and legs, so they can be posed in various positions. All the flower children were crocheted from cotton scraps. I used Catania by Schachenmayr for this project.

Of course, little Easter lambs are a must for Easter too!
Here’s a pattern for a particularly cute one to crochet. If you use thick enough yarn, you can even add a music box inside. I used Phil douce fluffy yarn from Phildar—it’s nice and thick and cuddly soft. Stitch markers will help you keep track of your work while crocheting, so working with this fluffy yarn isn’t too difficult.
But of course, you can also crochet the lamb using a different yarn (e.g., an acrylic yarn like Bravo by Schachenmayr). Otherwise, crocheting the lamb isn’t hard, since it’s made entirely of single crochet stitches, and the pattern describes each row in detail.

Click here to access the pattern.

Little kids love finger puppets. While they often can’t hold large hand puppets with their tiny fingers yet, that’s no problem with finger puppets. You just slip them onto your fingers or a pencil, and the puppet show can begin!

Here, you can crochet an entire family of bunnies for Easter using leftover yarn. In the run-up to Easter, they can tell stories about the Easter bunnies’ preparations for the holiday: painting eggs, making Easter baskets, and preparing delicious chocolate eggs! After Easter, they can take on the roles of forest dwellers and share tales of life in the woods and fields, or funny stories from family life.

The bunnies aren’t hard to crochet, so they’re suitable even for beginners. Click here for the pattern!

The fence guests are happy about the first rays of sunshine. That's why they're in such a great mood and have made themselves comfortable behind and on the fence.

The pattern includes tips for crafting with colored cardstock, the full-size sewing pattern (for printing and cutting out), as well as an adhesive sheet for arranging the motif pieces correctly. It also explains coloring with soft pastels for beautiful shading.

You will need the following materials to make it:
colored cardstock in various colors
liquid glue
scissors
fineliner for the outlines
soft pastels for coloring (alternatively, shavings from colored pencils)

Heinrich the Rabbit has dressed up especially nicely for Easter. But even after Easter, he’s a cute little fellow who’ll win hearts in no time.

Using the specified materials, Heinrich the Rabbit measures 20 cm tall when seated. Personally, I recommend using cotton yarn for all of my amigurumi patterns.

The pattern includes many step-by-step photos to make it easier to follow. However, basic crochet skills (single crochet, increases, decreases, etc.) are required.

The following materials are needed:
  • 75 g of light gray cotton yarn
  • 25 g of red cotton yarn
  • leftover yellow cotton yarn (for the scarf)
  • leftover multicolored cotton yarn (for the hat)
  • leftover white cotton yarn (for the snout)
  • leftover pink and black cotton yarn (for embroidering the outlines)
  • a pair of safety eyes, 9 mm, in brown-black
  • stuffing
  • crochet hook size 3

This fairly spacious gift bag can hold plenty of Easter gifts! And if one bag isn’t enough, just make two, three, four… it’s quick and easy, and with eggs and flowers in different colors, you can add some variety.

The bag is made of cardstock and measures approximately 18.5 x 24 x 10 cm. The double-layered sides and the multi-layered design give the bag extra stability, so even slightly heavier gifts can be carried safely inside.

Thanks to the detailed, illustrated patterns, even beginners will have no trouble making these.
You can also make them as comforters for babies and give them as Easter gifts.

Egg cozy - knitted for a change:
Knitting pattern Egg Cozy BIGGI - quick and easy

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Funny egg cozies, not just for Easter! Plus, an ideal way to use up leftover yarn.

Basic knitting skills are enough.
We knit in the round with a set of double-pointed needles. Embellishments can be added as desired and according to your own creativity.

Material:
Basically, any yarn can be used with a slightly smaller needle size than indicated on the ball band.
1 egg cozy: approx. 10 g – 15 g yarn (leftovers) + small leftover yarn for decorating; here: set of double-pointed needles size 4.0 and crochet hook approx. 3.0 for “knotting in hair”; yarn needle for weaving in ends, sewing needle and buttons if needed, measuring tape, scissors.
Recommendation: embroider eyes in black if the egg cozies are used as amigurumi for babies/toddlers.

Included in the PDF download:

  • Short pattern in text form, designed for yarns with approx. 105 m yardage per 50 g
  • Step-by-step illustrated pattern, designed for yarns with approx. 85 m yardage per 50 g

As an Easter gift:

Potholder 'It’s so green' - Tunisian crochet

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Both the PDF pattern for the potholder and the pattern for the crochet flower(s) are illustrated step by step.

Material
:
For 1 standard-size potholder, 21 cm x 21 cm:
50 g light green + 50 g dark green crochet yarn made of 100% cotton/plant fiber for heat resistance, e.g. Schoeller+Stahl Record 210, 50 g- 90 m, according to the label 16 sts x 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm), so 50 g per color for the Tunisian crochet hook up to max. size 4.5.

For the flower(s), a leftover ball of cotton yarn is enough, e.g. Catania (Schachenmayr) or Limone (Schoeller+Stahl) for crochet hook size 2.5 - 3.5.

General crochet skills are sufficient; the Tunisian crochet technique is explained with pictures.
____________________________________________________________________

Or the classic potholder is also a nice little gift:

Potholder - the crochet classic

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This potholder is considered a classic for crochet beginners.

For this, you need 50 g cotton yarn per color for a size 4.5 crochet hook.

The PDF pattern is illustrated, but it is not a crochet course.

The following basic crochet skills are required: (turning) chain stitch, single crochet, and slip stitch

Brand new in the shop and sooo cute :-)

The Easter Knobblys!
They love hanging on bags, keychains, school satchels, or rearview mirrors. But they’ve also already been spotted in Easter baskets :-)

The little balls are only about 7 to 8 cm in diameter (just the ball bodies) and are quick to crochet.
Across 13 pages with a total of 36 images, the pattern also explains to crochet beginners how they can crochet the cuddly Easter decor.

Two birds with one stone... ;-)
The leftover yarn gets used up, and the next Easter celebration can come!

... and you can’t do without decorations, and nothing beats HANDMADE!

With a little practice, a decorative egg can be knitted and finished in just under an hour!
So there’s plenty of time left to fill the “pussy willow bouquet”!

A detailed, illustrated e-book (14 pages) guides you through 11 different patterns.
It explains step by step how to make the decorative egg.

And here’s the pattern and more details...

But with all that sweet chirping, can you really be mad at them? The little ducklings and their best friend, the hen, simply belong in every Easter decoration.

The cute little birdies are quick and easy to crochet from a few yellow leftover yarn scraps, and the pattern is described in such detail that it’s also easy for somewhat experienced beginners to follow.

So grab your scrap box and crochet a whole chick gang right away. You’ll find the pattern and more info, as always, here in my shop >>>
