I’ve been busy today and have already finished my office work.
Half the family has already eaten lunch; the two older kids won’t be home from school until later.
Now the little one is going to sleep, and I’m going to curl up on the sofa with my crochet projects in a bit.
I’m planning to make a christening gown because the youngest is finally getting baptized on the 28th.
And of course, she needs something pretty to wear.
I’m feeling better again now.
I really banged my little toe on a doorframe last weekend. I even went to urgent care.
Now I’m taking it easy and knitting on the side. The problem is, I still can’t get into any suitable shoes.
But I don’t want to complain—things are getting better.
I’m doing well, and everyone at home is healthy.
Everyday life has us fully back in its grip with school and work.
I’ve already started on the first Easter items. It always comes around so quickly, and the whole family wants presents.
Yesterday I got an invitation to my favorite cousin’s 30th birthday party. I can still remember it as clearly as if she’d been born just yesterday. Unfortunately, she lives so far away now that we only see each other once a year.
I wonder if I’ll still manage to quickly crochet her a little loop scarf?
I finished work on time today. Now I’m making myself a nice cup of coffee, and as I enjoy it, I’m happy that the sun is shining down on us for the second day in a row.
What else the day has in store… Knitting, of course.
I had a cold over the holidays, but everything’s fine again now.
I guess it was all just a bit much for me emotionally (both personally and professionally). Now that I know what’s next for my yarn shop, everything feels better. I’ll be moving to new shop premises in July (just a minute around the corner from the current shop), since my current landlord needs the space himself. The location is just as good, if not better :-).
@Monika: Things have been happening one after another since I attended your webinar...
If you’re ever in the area again: My new address as of July 1, 2018, is Kirchplatz 6, 83233 Bernau. It’s also by the traffic light on the main street, next to the Sparkasse. I have quite a bit to tell you—maybe we can talk on the phone sometime...
To EVERYONE—take care of yourselves, and to those who aren’t feeling well, get well soon.
Dear Waltraud, I’d love to visit you at your new shop in spring. I’m already saving up … because my “wool diet” will be over by March at the latest. ;-) I’m really looking forward to it!
We’ll talk on the phone — I’d love that.
Take care and sell your yarn so you can completely redo everything in your new shop. I really hope you can!
