You wouldn’t guess that this Venetian carnival mask was crocheted from leftover yarn. When it comes to decorating, there are no limits to your imagination: you can leave it plain without any embellishments (white mask), add a gold border (red mask), or decorate it lavishly with sequins and glass beads (black mask). Colorful feathers also look very decorative.
The 7-page pattern explains each round stitch by stitch with plenty of pictures, but there’s also a crochet chart.

Do you have lots of leftover yarn in different colors and no idea what you could make with it?
How about a little teddy bear—or even the whole cheeky teddy bear gang!

What you need:
-leftover yarn in the colors you want
-A matching crochet hook
-A little stuffing
-A key ring or mini carabiner
-additional decorations (if desired)

Since it only uses chain stitches and single crochet stitches, the pattern is absolutely suitable for beginners.

Of course, the little bow, the side pocket, and the backpack are also included in the pattern.

Get the pattern here and start right away!

I hope you have lots of fun! :)

Doll clothes always work. Small, fine bits of leftover yarn are perfect for a Barbie outfit, and if there’s a larger amount left, it might even be enough for Baby Born.

Heavenly quick and really easy to crochet, these cute angels/guardian angels are perfect for using up leftover yarn.

Not just for Christmas, but also super cute, for example, as a keychain or bag charm, as a gift tag for someone dear, wrapped around a mason jar or a bottle of sparkling wine, as a little guardian angel in the car or above the bed, etc.

Here’s the pattern for the angels

The angels were crocheted with Catania and a 2.5 mm hook.
They measure 6 cm, 7 cm, and 9 cm tall without the loop.

Leftover yarn is perfect for crocheting this cute gnome family. They look adorable in any color. What makes them special is that you can fill them with all sorts of little treasures.

As gift wrapping, they look just as good as they do on the breakfast table as egg cozies.

They are quick and easy to crochet and still leave plenty of room for creativity, for example with the faces. Children big and small will love them.

elke-eder, you’re really thinking ahead with your suggestions! And I find the combination especially unique: flip-flops next to Christmas angels! By the way: The hat is already dangling from my summer bag, and the flip-flops will follow in due time—even though I never wear them! As for the pattern for the angels, though, I’m going to save it for a few more months!

Potholders are always a great way to use up some leftover yarn. You really don’t need much—just a little cotton—and if it’s colorful to boot, winter will fly by even faster :-)
These potholders are knitted in a simple knit-purl pattern—it’s a breeze and perfect for beginners, too. The pattern is written out row by row and also shown in a knitting chart.

Wrist warmers are also quick to knit from leftover sock yarn. The big advantage: your fingers stay free.
These cuffs have a pretty lace pattern that is explained in a tutorial. Plan on about 90 m of sock yarn.

You can find the pattern here.

a colorful butterfly is always great for leftover yarn
the butterfly as a napkin holder that makes every breakfast a fun occasion.
Or place the butterfly in an Easter basket and put it in the center as a table decoration.
Or as gift wrapping; the butterfly can also hold a small gift.or simply give the butterfly as a Mother's Day gift, ................
there is also an egg cozy and a cutlery pouch to go with the napkin holder, so the breakfast trio is complete.

The ideal way to use up leftovers is this little pouch with a heart, which fits exactly 10 tissues. It’s quick and easy to crochet, even for beginners, and is perfect as a last-minute gift idea, so to speak. How about crocheting a few now for Valentine’s Day and then giving them as gifts?

You can hide nice gifts between the tissues, such as money gifts or vouchers.

The pouch fits in any handbag and is sure to always be well received. It doesn’t need a closure button, so the tissues are always quickly at hand.

Here’s the crochet pattern for the little pouch for 10 tissues.
