Brand new in my shop is this pattern for a warm scarf that is also suitable for knitting beginners. You just need to know knit and purl stitches—that’s all. The pattern is written out row by row and also shown in knitting charts.

Here’s the scarf.

Just went online. Just in time for the approaching frost.

FAUNUS 1+2

Faunus is a cowl perfect for the cold season. Depending on your mood, you can choose to include cables or leave them out. You’ll receive two patterns with your purchase!

Faunus 1: Cowl with a cable
Faunus 2: Cowl without a cable

These patterns work with all types of yarn! You can use a trendy gradient yarn cake, or just as easily cozy merino wool or cotton yarn.

The patterns are written out in plain text, without knitting charts, and are absolutely beginner-friendly.

Here’s what’s included:
  • 2 patterns for both styles
  • written knitting pattern without knitting chart
  • Suitable for beginners
  • One size
Materials needed:
  • Details for both models!
  • 400m of yarn of your choice; for gradient yarn, we recommend using 5–6 strands
  • A set of double-pointed needles or a 40–60 cm circular needle in the appropriate size
  • 8 stitch markers
  • Scissors
  • Yarn needle
  • Cable needle

Knitting beginners, take note!

With my new pattern you can knit wonderful baby mittens - in a brilliantly simple way!
No set of double-pointed needles, no purl stitches! Even as a beginner
you'll get them done so easily and quickly!

The littlest ones will still need mittens for a few more months, because their
little hands always need to be kept nice and warm during the
daily stroller ride...

Click here for lots more photos and details!

The yarn is a classic - I've already knit miles of it!
You can create a really wonderful, one-of-a-kind accessory for
your baby here, because the yarn comes in more than 100 colors and
color gradients!

Why are these mittens so brilliantly simple and so great for beginners?

  • they are knitted entirely in garter stitch - so you only have to work knit stitches
  • they are knitted only in rows, back and forth, and sewn together later (you can hardly see it) – you do not have to work with a set of double-pointed needles here
  • at the end you only have to weave in 2 ends per mitten - everything is knitted in one go and sewn together
  • the pattern is very detailed and includes lots of pictures - it's important to me that every beginner has fun and succeeds here
  • you only need one skein for this project and it goes super fast - you can easily finish one mitten in an evening
  • the decrease made by knitting two stitches together is explained clearly and in detail in a photo tutorial
  • the only somewhat tricky part is picking up stitches from the
knotted edge. I show you that very precisely too: picture by picture and
step by step, you'll manage it well even as a beginner!

Have fun knitting!

For this cozy shawl collar, you’ll need a size 6 circular knitting needle and matching soft yarn—I used “Zauberei” from Lady Dee’s Traumgarne. You’ll need about 120g for the shawl collar. I used the yarn doubled.

The pattern includes detailed row-by-row instructions and a knitting chart created in Excel.

I hope you enjoy making this!

I also have a knitting pattern for a cowl in January

Depending on your preference, the pattern shows how to knit a cowl or the collar.

The pattern includes a knitting chart for the design, and the rows are also explained in writing. The loop stitch pattern is also shown in detail step by step with a series of photos, so this pattern is not very difficult either.

Here is the pattern for the cowl

These matching wrist warmers for him and her are very easy to knit and absolutely suitable for beginners (with basic skills). They’re knitted in one straight piece, and then the seam is closed invisibly using Kitchener stitch.

The pattern shows all the steps. Here, I used a leftover skein of merino wool for both wrist warmers, along with a few colorful scraps.

This cute baby strappy dress can be worn for at least 2 1/2 years, from about 6 months to at least 3 years. It simply grows with the child—just leave out the straps later on.

The dress has no seams and, with the pattern, can be made even by beginners with basic skills.

There’s also a matching headband that can be easily knitted from leftover yarn—it’s a breeze and easily adjustable for all sizes.

Click here for the matching headband.

This cowl and shoulder warmer can be knitted quickly and very easily from a single ball of cotton, even by beginners with basic skills.
