Recommended materials: Catania Fine (yardage 165 m/50 g) and glitter yarn (e.g., by Gründel), as well as a 2.0 mm crochet hook and possibly a few rocaille beads.

This cozy baby jacket with a matching hat is knitted from 6-ply sock yarn and fits sizes 62 to 80.

The pattern is easy to follow, even for beginners with basic skills. It consists only of knit and purl stitches. A chart is included in the pattern.

What makes it special: The baby jacket is knitted from the bottom up without any seams and is quick to finish.

This round collar is a wonderful shoulder warmer and especially practical for wearing underneath on cold days. The collar also looks good folded over.

Best of all, it can be knitted in one or two evenings, even by beginners. It’s also a great idea for leftover yarn, if you like it colorful.

We’re continuing with passion in the new year.....
Various stitch patterns adorn this impressive tunic, which you can easily make yourself in any size by following this pattern.

Materials needed:
  • Example sizes 36–40: This project used a total of approx. 1,600 m of 4-ply yarn from Wollarchiv-MJ; of course, you can also use any other type of yarn. Yarn usage depends on the size, of course. For each
    additional size, I recommend allowing for about 200 m more yarn.
  • Crochet hooks suitable for the yarn (here sizes 4 and 3.5)
  • Beads, if desired, for decorating the tassels

Knit Baby Mittens - in a brilliantly simple way!

The very littlest ones will still need mittens for a few more months, because those tiny hands always have to be kept nice and warm on the daily stroller ride...

With my new pattern, you can knit baby mittens super easily! No set of double-pointed needles, no purl stitches! Even as a beginner, you can make them easily and quickly!

Click here for lots more photos and details!

The yarn is a classic - I've already knitted miles of it! Here you can conjure up a wonderful, personalized accessory for
your baby, because the yarn comes in over 100 colors and
color gradients!

Why are these mittens so brilliantly simple and so great for beginners?

  • they are knitted completely in garter stitch - so you only need to knit knit stitches
  • they are knitted only in rows back and forth and sewn together later (but you can hardly see it at all) – you do not have to work with a set of double-pointed needles here
  • at the end, you only have to weave in 2 ends per mitten - everything is knitted in one go and sewn together
  • the pattern is written in great detail and with lots of pictures - it's important to me that every beginner has fun and success with it
  • you only need one skein for this project, and it goes super fast - you can easily finish one mitten in an evening
  • the decrease by knitting two stitches together is explained explicitly and precisely in a photo tutorial
  • the only slightly tricky part is picking up stitches from the knotted edge. I'll show you that very clearly too: picture by picture and
    step by step, you'll manage it well even as a beginner!

Have fun knitting!

Knitting pattern for a loop/cowl in 3 sizes

In this 4-page pattern, I’ve shown how to make the loop using three different yarns: once as a close-fitting cowl, once as a simple loop, and once as a double-wrapped loop.

The pattern includes both a knitting chart and a written stitch-by-stitch explanation. The pattern spans two rows and is easy to remember. The loop stitch pattern is explained in detail with pictures in the pattern. You just need to know how to knit and purl stitches.

The Christmas season is over—it’s high time to start thinking about Carnival! You’ll make a big impression with this Venetian Carnival mask, and you can crochet it in just one afternoon using leftover cotton yarn. It’s not nearly as hard as you might think. The 7-page pattern describes each round in detail, complete with numerous photos and a crochet chart. Afterward, you can decorate the crocheted mask with sequins or beads to suit your taste. It’s fun!

If you’re looking for a pretty yet practical gift for Valentine’s Day or just as a little something, this little pouch is just the thing.

It holds exactly 10 tissues, so they’re always within easy reach. That’s because the pouch doesn’t need any buttons.

Other benefits:
  • Great for beginners
  • super quick and easy to crochet
  • great for using up leftover yarn—requires very little yarn
  • great gift packaging for small items, such as money

A soul warmer like this simply has to hang in every woman's wardrobe in lots of colors and shapes!

This zigzag pattern is simply fun and looks fantastic on top of that.
The edging is worked with a relief pattern, which is simple yet very effective.

The cut of the soul warmer comes entirely without decreases or increases...
... so it is also absolutely recommended for beginners!

A detailed description guides you through the crochet process.
For clarification, 3 crochet charts can be found in the pattern.
In addition, 3 diagrams help you through the crochet process step by step.

This pattern is designed for sizes S/M/L/XL.
However, the pattern explains how the shrug can easily be adapted to any size.
The included cut and the gauge help with that!

And here is the pattern and more details...

A fresh start for the new year! So it’s time for something new for the guys, too!
And this knitted shawl collar is just the thing for anyone who wants to stay nice and warm around the neck.

Click here for the pattern

In the pattern, you’ll find a row-by-row explanation of the stitch pattern and a knitting chart in Excel.

You’ll need:
  • Circular knitting needle size 6
  • Cable needle
  • Darning needle
  • Yarn: 200g = approx. 760 meters, needle size 3-4 (I used “Zauberei” from Lady Dee’s Traumgarne). You’ll need about 120g for the shawl collar. I worked with double strands.
  • 3 buttons for decoration

    Just gone online :)
    Golden is meant to beckon spring.

    GOLDMARIE

    Goldmarie is an airy, loose, lightweight shawl with which I would like to invite spring in.

    Golden like the sun, it shines in the pattern and still nestles softly around your shoulders and keeps them warm.

    It looks especially effective with a matching gradient yarn cake. However, the pattern is written so that you can use any lace yarn from 1000 m running length
    onwards.

    What do you need to know?
    - chain stitches
    - single crochet
    - double crochet

    The pattern is written out and very detailed over 5 pages, and absolutely beginner-friendly.

    Included:
    * fully written-out pattern
    * one size, can be enlarged as desired from 1000 m gradient yarn or lace yarn
    * suitable for beginners.

    Materials needed:
    * 1 gradient yarn cake, 1000 m, 4-ply Marie(n) Käferchen Cotton (100% cotton) from www.marieandme-shop.de
    * alternative yarn: 1000 m lace yarn
    * 3.5 mm crochet hook
    * scissors
    * yarn needle

    I’m sneaking in a little pattern here. A wash mitt is quick to knit and also makes a lovely gift idea if you ever need a little something to bring along. A colorful border turns it into a splash of color in the bathroom.

    You can find the pattern here.

    Cowl collars are a great alternative to loops and scarves for keeping warm in winter...
    ... you can never have enough of them.

    Here, 2 techniques come together—and harmonize beautifully:
    Tartan + Tapestry

    Who says the tartan technique only looks good in knitted fashion? Far from it!
    Crocheted pieces can be wonderfully spruced up too!

    The method looks sophisticated, yet is so easy to make that even beginners will enjoy it!

    A detailed step-by-step explanation guides you through the crochet pattern.
    For clarification, the pattern includes 1 crochet chart .
    In addition, a template with an integrated diagram helps guide you through the crochet process.

    The tartan technique is also described in detail and illustrated (16 images).
    The tapestry technique is explained separately as well.

    The unrolled scarf has a size of about 34 x 105 cm.
    However, it can be made smaller or larger as needed without much effort.
    The included template and the gauge help with that!

    And here’s the pattern and more details...

    We need them in every season and every quality...
    ... the triangle shawls!
    Hardly any accessory perks up a supposedly boring outfit like our shawls.

    The pattern used looks complex, but is so easy to make,
    that even beginners will enjoy it!

    A detailed step-by-step explanation guides you through the crochet pattern.
    Row by row and stitch by stitch are explained.
    For clarification, 1 crochet chart can be found in the pattern.

    The size of the shawl is approximately 180 x 100 cm.
    However, it can be made smaller or larger as needed—without much effort.
    The specified gauge helps with that!

    And here’s the pattern and more details...
