My personal favorite shawl made it to rank 3 : the edgy and modern Potzblitz triangular shawl. It is wonderfully warm and big enough to snuggle up in. Experienced knitters
will have no trouble knitting their dream shawl in their favorite yarn and
desired size, because the pattern includes lots of tips for
modifications! Here’s the Potzblitz: CLICK!

The undefeated number 1 is my Mini Owls. They’re whipped up in no time from scraps and are a lot of fun – to make and to give as gifts. Tip: With a sewn-on or crocheted-on little cord, they also make great bag charms! Here are the owls: CLICK!

In place 2 you’ll find the Windseeker stole. It is knitted from mohair yarn, but other rather thin and lightweight yarns with a soft drape are also wonderfully suitable. Here’s the stole: CLICK!

1. Cuddly Kitten
You can crochet the kitten in one color or two colors. With fluffy yarn, it will be especially soft. But you can also use acrylic yarn and then roughen it up a bit with a brush. The kitten is crocheted using only single crochet stitches.

2. Sleeping Little Lamb

The little lamb is also crocheted using only single crochet stitches. If you use thick yarn, it will be big enough for a music box to fit inside its belly. Then it can “sing” your little darling to sleep.

3. Crocheted Shells
The crocheted shells look especially realistic and will let you feel a touch of summer already. They are very easy to crochet and are especially good for using up leftover yarn, because you can use almost any yarn for them and only need a very small amount of each.

Useful calculation aid:

This is an Excel spreadsheet for converting a yarn quantity from the "original yarn" to an "alternative yarn" of your choice.

Example:
The original yarn specified in your pattern has a yardage of 85 m per 50 g. According to the instructions there, you need 600 g of this "original yarn" for your size. But you would like to make your piece in a different yarn (= alternative yarn). This yarn chosen in the example has a yardage of 70 m per 50 g skein. Nothing has changed for me since the last update:

In first place are still the 10 small folding boxes, which are super easy to make and perfect for crafting beginners. The pattern includes 10 templates for boxes with different edge lengths ranging from 3 to 8 cm.

In second place is this Advent calendar —best to make a note of it right away for next year! The Advent calendar measures approx. 28 x 4.5 x 32 cm, is very easy to make, and is also well-suited for beginners.

In third place is the backpack-shaped gift box . If you’d like to give a gift to a child starting school next year, this box is ideal.
The backpack measures approximately 16.5 x 22.5 x 9 cm and is easy to make, even for beginners with a little crafting experience.

All of the models featured here are made from cardstock.

Third place goes to the Minto triangular shawl

The PDF pattern is suitable for beginners.
The simple double crochet stitch really showcases the color gradient of the 4-ply gradient yarn cake.
This shawl was made using 250 g of yarn (50% cotton / 50% acrylic) with a size 3.5 crochet hook.

In second place is a raglan-style crochet sweater .

To make this seamless sweater, which can be adjusted to any size, you’ll need 250 g of 4-ply gradient yarn (50% cotton / 50% acrylic) and a size 3.5 crochet hook.
The sleeves can be lengthened later as desired.
The PDF pattern is suitable for beginners.

In first place is this crochet doily :

Experienced crocheters can recreate this festive doily using approximately 35 g of 3-ply yarn (50% cotton / 50% acrylic) and a size 2–2.5 crochet hook.

My number 1 is still this triangular shawl, knitted from exactly one skein of sock yarn, a simple and relaxing pattern made up of knit and purl stitches with a few lace rows in between.

Here is the pattern.

Number 2 is this lace-pattern scarf, knitted from thick cotton yarn, which drapes wonderfully softly.

The pattern can be found here.

And then number 3. It’s this stole in a sophisticated lace pattern. It is knitted from soft merino wool.

You can find the pattern for it here.

I hope you enjoy making them!

These little Christmas slippers are so popular mainly because they are not only incredibly cute, but also versatile to use:

  • They brighten up any Christmas decor and make your guests smile

  • With little name tags attached, they make a pretty little table decoration for the Christmas feast

  • You can just as easily use the little slippers as original gift packaging for small presents and Christmas treats

  • Yes, these sweet little slippers are even suitable as an Advent calendar because they are quick to crochet, can be decorated individually and have room for sweet little Advent surprises

You can find the pattern and more info here >>>

-------------

And if you feel the same way I do and are already looking forward to spring again, then these two spring patterns absolutely belong in your collection!

I really can’t say exactly where these little chirpers came from. But one day they were sitting in my Easter basket and making quite a racket.

These two ducklings and their little friend, the chick, fit into any Easter basket and are truly an adorable little decoration idea.
You can crochet them very easily and quickly with a few bits of leftover yarn and wonderfully give them as a little gift to bring along or as an add-on to a present.

You can find the pattern and more info here >>>
-------------

And an original table decoration for springtime is also made by these pretty egg cozies "Little Easter Bells"

They too are crocheted quickly with just a little leftover yarn and add colorful splashes to the breakfast table.
With this pattern, you can show everything you’ve already learned in crochet, because here you’ll need the following stitches: magic ring, chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, and double treble crochet

You can find the pattern and more info here >>>
