A small pattern for quick success, or for when you need a little gift in a hurry, is this bracelet, now brand-new in my shop. A real stash-busting project—two small leftover bits of cotton are enough.

Here’s the pattern.

Here’s something for the gentlemen. This “Pattern Mix” set consists of a beanie and a scarf that won’t slip. Thanks to an air cushion, the knitting pattern looks as if it were double-knitted.

Even beginners can easily knit this set. Everything is well explained, and there are photos to go along with it.

This way to the pattern

Since this scarf’s pattern reminds me of waves, I named it Nami (Japanese for waves).

It is knitted from 5-ply yarn (50% cotton / 50% polyacrylic) with size 4–4.5 knitting needles.
With matching buttons, you can skip making extra buttonholes, since the buttons can be pulled through the cable pattern.

Of course, the scarf can also be made longer and without buttons.

The two-page PDF pattern is suitable for beginners with basic cable-knitting skills.

I hope you have lots of fun knitting it.

Something warm around your neck is essential in winter. A knitted infinity scarf provides cozy warmth even in cold outdoor temperatures and looks great. It is knitted from fluffy, soft merino wool, and the pattern is easy. It works up quickly, I can promise you that!

You can find the pattern here.

This pattern belongs in every knitting pattern collection, suitable for cuffs, scarves, cowls, hats...

Knitting pattern - New Zealand boot cuffs
choose from: knitted in rows or in rounds

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

These easy and quick-to-knit cuffs make a stylish boot topper.

The pattern used here is also wonderfully suitable for scarves or (Möbius) cowls, since it looks the same on both sides.

Included in the download (PDF format):

  • Knitting pattern boot cuffs knitted in rows – also for scarves
  • Knitting pattern boot cuffs knitted in rounds with a set of double-pointed needles, or
  • with a circular knitting needle for a cowl
  • Separate PDF: Knitting Basics
Material:
Depending on the cuff height, 50 g to 100 g Adriafil New Zealand Print, 75% wool, 25% acrylic, 100 g – 200 m, needle size 4.5. If needed, a set of double-pointed needles size 4.5 if the cuffs are knitted in rounds.

For a close-fitting cowl: approx. 150 g yarn, 1 circular knitting needle size 4.5 with a 60 cm cable length, 1 stitch marker.

In December, I have a new knitting pattern for a hat.

The hat comes in 8 sizes, so you can knit the same hat to fit dad and son, grandson and grandpa, nephew and uncle.

Wouldn't this make a lovely Christmas gift?

The hat is knitted using only knit and purl stitches, and the pattern describes the decreases in detail.

You can find the pattern for my hat here

This adorable baby set—baby pants with a matching hat—has just arrived in my shop.

Both are very easy to knit, even for beginners with basic skills. The pattern covers size 62/68 and explains how to easily adapt it to 74/80.

Finally here! The Beginner Basic Hat No. 2! Now also knit in beanie style with a ribbed brim, but: only in garter stitch and also only in rows. Everything is super easy and relaxed! :-)

Why is this hat so great for beginners?

  • it is knitted completely in garter stitch - so you only need to knit knit stitches
  • it is knitted only in rows back and forth and sewn together later (but you can hardly see it) – you do not have to work with a set of double-pointed needles here
  • the pattern is written in great detail with lots of photos, so every beginner can have fun and success
  • the decreases by knitting two stitches together are explicitly explained and shown in detail in a photo tutorial
  • the only slightly tricky part is picking up stitches from the knotted edge. I show you that very precisely too: picture by picture and
step by step, you’ll manage it well even as a beginner!

The hat is described for two fits (“NORMAL fit” or “BEANIE fit”), each in 9 sizes - at the beginning of the pattern you’ll find a table with the measurements of all finished hats. For every size, everything you need is listed! You don’t have to calculate anything yourself here! I’ve already done all of that for you! :-)

Sizes:
  • preemie
  • newborn
  • baby 1 to 3 months
  • baby 3 to 6 months
  • baby 6 to 12 months
  • toddler 1 to 2 years
  • child 2 to 6 years
  • teens and adults XS to M
  • adults L to XXL
