Also quick to knit is the cozy sweater

it is basically knitted in just two pieces (front and back), and is absolutely beginner-friendly because only knit and purl stitches are used.
Your new favorite sweater will be finished in no time!

You can crochet the knitting or crocheting snowmen over coffee on the weekend, because they are very easy and quick to make. You only need 2 colors (white and a color of your choice) and a bit of orange and black. The jam jar is filled with sweets—and just like that, you have a small supply of little gifts!
Get the pattern HERE and then you can start right away!

How about a crocheted shawl? A triangular lace shawl with a pattern that's easy to remember and very relaxing to crochet. My original is made from lace yarn, but you can also use other yarns. The big advantage of this pattern is that you can really use up your yarn down to the very last bit. You simply crochet for as long as you want.

Here’s the pattern.

We have snow here—do you too? It’s pretty frosty outside. But with the right gear, it can’t do you any harm. For example, a headband to keep your ears warm.
It knits up quickly, and in soft merino wool it’s also very comfortable to wear. The pattern is a simple textured pattern, for which you only need to know knit and purl stitches. Maybe you can make a few of them over the weekend?

You can find the pattern here.

It’s gotten so cold…… so a knitting pattern for a thick, warm cowl is just the thing.

A pretty lace pattern that’s easy to remember.

This cowl is knitted on circular needles, and you should know how to knit and purl, yarn over, and slip a stitch over.

With thick yarn, this project knits up quickly.

A weekend project could also be a warm beanie. Whether with or without a pom-pom, it’s always an eye-catcher.

This pattern provides instructions for the hat in 8 sizes. There’s the right number of stitches for every type of yarn and every head circumference.

This hat is knitted using only knit and purl stitches. The pattern is explained in detail with pictures.

Click here for the pattern in my shop.

Knit a Basic Hat - in all sizes - pattern especially for knitting beginners

Are you a beginner and finally feel like tackling the “first hat” project ? Why not make it your weekend project?

This basic hat is very easy to knit! It is knitted in rows, so no 4 needles that make your fingers get all tangled up at first!;-) There are only knit stitches! Nice and relaxing, then...:-) Decreases? Yes, this hat is
decreased to create the typical star shape at the crown, BUT...we’ll
do it together with a photo tutorial. I’ll also show you how to sew the hat together so you can hardly see the seam.

This ebook truly lives up to its name, because each size has its own pattern. Especially beginners can quickly get confused by stitch counts, measurements, and decreases at the start if everything is
combined in one pattern. Here you won’t get confused! Simply select your desired size in the table at the beginning, choose the matching pattern, and off you go.

Click here and you’ll go directly to the pattern!
Have fun knitting!

Are you a beginner knitter, want to knit something for a baby or toddler and are still looking for a weekend project?

Click here and you'll get to the pattern with lots more info and photos!

Knit a wonderful basic triangular scarf!

This scarf is simply fantastic: wonderfully soft and warm, it sits like a turtleneck around the neck, while the snap fastener makes it super practical. Kids and moms love it because it's so easy... ;-)

With one ball of Cool Wool by Lana Grossa (160 m/50 g yardage) you can knit a whole scarf. The color range is huge! Or do you still have a ball with a similar yardage at home? Then you can start knitting right away! :-)

Psst... here comes some info from Santa: Many moms would be delighted to receive such a special scarf as a gift... :-)

Have fun knitting!

Crochet it quickly now:

Dish sponge ball with or without a face plus dishcloth - crochet pattern

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Quick to crochet in the popular dish sponge yarn (washable at 60°C in the dishwasher or washing machine).

Included in the download :
  • PDF crochet pattern for a dish sponge ball with an embroidered face (diameter approx. 7 cm)
  • PDF crochet pattern for a dishcloth (dimensions: approx. 20 cm x 20 cm)
Both patterns include a short version and a detailed, illustrated pattern plus crochet basics with all stitches used.

The embroidered little face gives the dish sponge ball a fun touch for gifts. If the ball (not filled) is pushed outward, it is a smiling dish sponge; pushed inward, it is a “Halloween face.” If left without a “face,” the ball also works well as a Christmas bauble and, above all, is UNBREAKABLE — making it ideal for children, especially since it can also be used as a bath sponge .

Materials for 1 dishcloth + 1 dish sponge ball:
approx. 50 g Rico Creative Bubble, 100% polyester, e.g., color 007 light blue + 50 g (or leftover yarn) color 012 black, 50 g – 100 m, washable at 60 °C in the dishwasher, crochet hook 4.0; , scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.
NOTE: In this yarn, black is only suitable for embroidering or for borders.
If the dishcloth is used as a potholder, please use 100% cotton yarn (potholder yarn) because of its heat resistance.

Also a pretty and special weekend project:

Crochet Beanie 'Tabata' & Möbius Shawl Collar/Loop (m/f)

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This crochet set (m/f) in fashionable gray consists of a beanie and a Möbius scarf collar/loop.

The PDF pattern is written for head circumferences of 52 cm – 60 cm and includes both – hat and loop (loop in one size).

It is illustrated, but requires general crochet skills (chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, crocheting in rounds, slip stitches,
increases and decreases). The special stitches are illustrated and
described. I would describe the difficulty level as “intermediate.”

For the hat, 150 g are required, and for the loop, 100 g of a yarn with 50 g – 75 m
yardage. Differing from the hook size on the yarn label, this is crocheted here
with crochet hook sizes 8.0 and 10.0.
