Knitted poncho/stole, feather-light - very easy
- also in thicker yarns: nice and warm

(For purchase/download, please click the image)

One size - pattern and cut are absolutely suitable for beginners.

This is a brief pattern for a feather-light and very easy-to-knit poncho in one size, made from just 100 g of KidSilk (Austermann). For beginners, I recommend (lace) yarns without mohair, as mohair is almost impossible to unravel.

The PDF pattern includes the preview image.

By the way: The poncho can also be knitted nicely as a warm outdoor poncho with thick wool, 100 g - 100 m, using needle size 8.0. Required yarn amount then approx. 700 g. The stitch count is always based on your individual gauge.
To convert your individual gauge, I recommend this:
READ OFF instead of calculating - PDF table for knitting and crochet
as well as my blog post: Converting gauge - here's how..

Required knitting skills:
casting on, edge stitch (your favorite edge stitch), knit and purl stitches, bind off.

Knitting Pattern: Traditional Corset / Top

(Click the image to purchase/download )

This (traditional) corset is laced; alternatively, you can also attach (traditional) buttons—whichever you prefer.

The instructions are based on size S/M—but thanks to the pattern and lacing, it stretches to fit up to size 42. Any size is possible —easy to adjust due to the simple pattern—and suitable even for beginners.

Basic knitting skills and the ability to crochet chain stitches are sufficient
(everything is explained with illustrations in the separate PDF)

Included in the download:

  • PDF knitting pattern (includes images from the photo gallery)
  • PDF Knitting Basics – Illustrated Basic Knitting Techniques

You’ll need
approximately 250 g of yarn with a yardage of 125 m to 130 m per 50 g for needle sizes 3–4 and a gauge of approximately 22 sts x 30 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm, as indicated on the skein label.
Used here: Size 3.5 knitting needles and size 3.0 crochet hook.

Standard knitting supplies: measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle, stitch holder, or additional circular needles for holding stitches.

If needed, buttons, cord, or velvet ribbon, unless you’re crocheting.

2 knitting patterns: baby socks with cable and baby shoes
incl. sock charts up to shoe size 47

Both patterns are also available individually.

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

2 detailed knitting patterns incl. sock charts, also for adults up to size 47.

Baby feet love this. Leftover yarn can be wonderfully used for those sweet little feet.

For the baby socks with cable and the baby shoes, the following are included as a PDF download:
  • Baby shoes "Jakob" - illustrated pattern and quick instructions plus sketch
  • Gauge conversion table in PDF format for reading and printing
  • Baby socks pattern size 15 (basically an illustrated sock-knitting tutorial) with quick instructions and charts sizes 15 to 47
    plus sketch
Basic knitting skills are enough.
Difficulty level for baby shoes: easy; for baby socks: medium (easy for experienced knitters).

Materials:
The baby socks are knitted with a size 2.5 set of double-pointed needles using 4-ply sock yarn (approx. 15 g for sizes 15 to 22). A cable needle (size 2.5) is required for the cable.

For the baby shoes, I used 50 g of soft merino yarn with approx. 120 m - 130 m yardage per 50 g ball, color petrol, for knitting needle size 3–4, approx. 20 g of matching leftover yarn in the same yarn weight, color eggshell white or light beige (= leftover yarn). Gauge according to the ball band: 22 stitches x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm; used here: knitting needle 3.5, for the bow a crochet hook 3.0.

In the crocheted light blue fur jacket with matching fur hat and dark blue loop scarf, Barbie is wrapped up warm and chic for cold winter days. You’ll need a leftover bit of Doudou by Lang Yarns and dark blue sock yarn for the loop scarf. Of course, you can also crochet the jacket in other colors, but I think the ice blue is perfect for winter! The fluffy yarn is quite easy to work with, since you can still see the crocheted stitches here. The cut of the jacket is very simple and can therefore be adjusted very easily with a few more or fewer rows or stitches if it otherwise shouldn’t fit.
Get the pattern for the jacket, hat, and loop scarf here!

With leftover blue sock yarn (here, Opal: Vincent van Gogh series), you can crochet beautiful winter sweaters for Barbie dolls. The color gradients create stunning patterns that really make the sweaters stand out.
The design of this sweater is very simple, so even beginners won’t have any trouble with it. There’s also a pattern for a pair of pants that you can crochet in blue as well, if you’d like. A great way to use up small leftovers!

This asymmetrical triangular shawl has a wonderful effect in this shade of blue

Pattern for asymmetrical triangular shawl

It is knitted from 200 g Schoppel Zauberball with a size 3 circular needle,

The pattern is illustrated and explained very simply,
you work everything in knit stitches,

in three stages: first the inner section, then the edges.

That makes the work very entertaining and fun!

'Easy Cable Pattern Knitted Hat 'Killary'

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This PDF knitting pattern for head circumference 53 cm to 56 cm includes the photos from the image gallery.

The hat is knitted in the round.

Basic knitting skills are required.

The great thing about the pattern used here is that for smaller/larger head circumferences, fewer or more stitches can be knitted in the “ribbing area,” so the model can be adjusted to any head size.

We need:
100 g Fila Doro Killary or Schulana Donegal Tweed, gauge according to the yarn label: 16 sts x 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm, 95% virgin wool, 5% cashmere, 50 g = 95 m yardage, knitting needles 4.5–5.5, used here: size 5.0 circular knitting needle with 40 cm cable length (60 cm cable length is a bit tight at the start of knitting, but can also be used); stitch marker, cable needle, yarn needle for weaving in ends, tape measure, scissors

"Peek-a-Boo" roughly translates as "peekaboo"
A lovely name for this style!

This sleeveless vest is held closed by one button, which also stabilizes the collar.
In the right quality, it can be worn all year round—spruces up any boring outfit in no time!
The "pearls" of the pattern used look as if they are wrapped.
This effect is created because the stitch groups are worked over two stitches
— simple, but not boring!

Once you’ve crocheted the pattern repeat, you’ll have the hang of it—
even beginners will enjoy this pattern!

A detailed step-by-step explanation guides you through the crochet process.
For clarification, the pattern includes both a written-out pattern repeat
and a chart in crochet chart format .
Furthermore, a cutting layout with an integrated schematic is provided.

This pattern is designed for sizes S/M/L/XL.
However, the pattern explains in detail
how this vest can easily be adapted to any size.

The included schematic and the gauge help with this!

And here’s where to find the pattern and more details...

It’s high time to start making Advent calendars – if you get started right away, you’ll still be able to finish this pretty little house.

This Advent calendar is made of cardstock and measures approx. 17.5 x 22 x 20.5 cm. Assembling the individual calendar containers is very easy, even for craft beginners, but to make sure everything fits together well in the end, it’s very important to work accurately and carefully.

In beautiful graduated shades of blue, this cape is a real eye-catcher.
Whether you wear it over a blouse or a sweater, it’s always pleasantly soft and elegant.

In the pattern, you’ll find each row described in detail with words and pictures, as well as a crochet chart.

You should know how to make chain stitches, double crochets, and triple crochets.

I used a size 3 crochet hook and 2 yarn cakes, each 50% cotton and 50% acrylic — 1,000 m/200 grams.
