Older children (and adults, too) will be delighted by the cheekiest frog in the world: POLDI! He’s a mischievous companion, whether for kindergarten, school, the playground, or as a cuddly friend in bed. With his long frog arms, he always wants to hug everyone! Speaking of frog arms: The amazing frog feet are explained in detail with lots of pictures – they’re a bit fiddly, but not difficult :-)

A train for Christmas!
A train even for the very little ones! Since it’s crocheted from cotton, your little one can’t hurt themselves on it if they want to “explore” it with their mouth. It’s so soft and cuddly that they can even take it to bed at night. And if it ever ends up in the sandbox, just pop it in the washing machine! The individual cars are connected with Velcro strips.
The train consists of many small parts, all of which are very easy to crochet. You’ll just need a little patience to sew the pieces together.
With the affordable pattern bundle, you’ll save 25% compared to buying the patterns individually! Get the pattern here!

A Barbie doll is always the perfect gift for a little girl. And if you give the doll together with a selection of beautiful clothing items, it becomes something truly special.

So what can you knit or crochet for the doll?

A cardigan, short or long, or as a coat?

And to go with it, pants and a top from the "Basics" series?.

Or would you prefer a knitted dress?

Anything is possible, beautiful, and one of a kind! I hope you enjoy the handicrafts and giving them as gifts.

Best wishes - Ina

My crocheted balloon cover made from lots of granny squares is a lovely gift from crawling age onward.

Depending on how firmly the balloon is inflated, even very young children can be given it to grasp. Later, they will quickly crawl after it, and later on it can be used as a play ball, whether in the garden or the children's room.

Any yarn is suitable; I mainly used cotton.

Every enthusiastic crafter is sure to have a sewing needle and scissors at home anyway! :-)

Crochet Pattern: Christmas Pirate Scarf

A scarf that can be worn around the neck or as a headscarf; the little tie lets you adjust it to size, so there’s no thick knot at the back of the neck.
The Christmas pirate has a fluffy beard that invites kids to tousle it, and since Santa Clauses and pirates are also very popular with children, it’s a motif the little ones are sure to like.

Details & pattern are available here with one click

The scarf is crocheted with single crochet stitches using a 3.5 mm hook, and the pattern is written without abbreviations.
