Beautiful colors + simple pattern + great cut = a snood you simply must have!

This loop scarf in a tartan look has a sophisticated effect, yet is so easy to make that it is also suitable for beginners !

The circumference is about 80 cm, and the height is approx. 50 cm.

However, the included cut and the gauge make it possible to adjust the size individually.
You will also find a chart of the color scheme as well as a detailed description in the pattern.
In addition, detailed photo documentation helps guide you through the knitting process.
The tartan technique is also described in detail and illustrated.

And here’s the link to the pattern and more details...

Crochet Hat for Everyone - very easy

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This beginner-friendly crochet hat can be worn as ONE hat model in all the variations shown, for little and big boys as well as little and big girls. Also suitable for dreadlock hairstyles. For babies, I recommend using a DK yarn (for hook sizes 3 to 4).

  • no gauge (it doesn't depend on the exact centimeter),
  • no increases or decreases,
  • for any yarn of your choice
  • in all sizes.

The PDF pattern includes photos.

You need these crochet skills: chain stitches, single crochet. Everything else and slip stitches are explained. (Video) link tips for learning to crochet for beginners are included in the PDF.

Materials for the pictured model with a head circumference of 55 cm to 60 cm:
approx. 250 g merino yarn, 50 g – 45 m, crochet hook 6.0; tape measure, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends

*********************************************

A matching crochet pattern for an infinity scarf to go with this hat is available here:
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/20003/haekel-moebius-loop-schal-fuer-alle-einfach

This Möbius infinity scarf, matching the hat above, is just as wonderfully easy and quick to crochet.  It can be worn as a shoulder warmer or hooded scarf - crocheted using the Möbius technique. The Möbius crochet technique is really very easy (shown with photos). It is crocheted from the horizontal center outward, creating sophisticated pattern effects.

This Möbius infinity scarf, with a circumference of approx. 90 cm and a height of approx. 25 cm, is fashionable in all the variations shown, for both men and women. Also easy to make for children (possibly recommended in a thinner yarn).

Here, too:
with the yarn type/weight used here (see below) and this size, no gauge is required (it doesn't depend on the exact centimeter).

The detailed photo-illustrated PDF pattern includes information and tips for using other yarns of your choice and for other sizes.

These crochet skills are enough:
chain stitches, single crochet. Everything else and slip stitches are explained. (Video) link tips for learning to crochet for beginners are included in the PDF.

Materials for the pictured model:
approx. 300 g merino yarn, 50 g – 45 m (e.g., MyBoshi No. 3), crochet hook 6.0; tape measure, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends, and STITCH MARKERS. The ribbed pattern requires approx. 50 g more yarn than is usual for simple smooth patterns. The crochet hook size should match the yarn used.

Also a pretty, special gift:

Knitting pattern for the ALL-SEASON BEANIE made from sock yarn

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This feather-light all-season beanie is made with knitting needles in various sizes (the brim with size 3.5 needles, the main part with size 6.0 needles, the decreases with 4.5 and 4.0) and, for the embellishment, with a crochet hook size 3.0 - 4.0. 70 g of 6-ply sock yarn is enough, though 1 skein usually has 150 g. So from the leftover yarn you can easily knit a small loop scarf or even 1 pair of socks up to shoe size 36/37 :-)

By the way: you can find a sock-knitting course for 6-ply sock yarn here:
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/22205/strickanleitung-socken-aus-6-faedigem-garn-lehrgang-mit-tabellen-fuer-alle-groessen

With colorful sock yarn, the particular color gradient—like in this picture—happens automatically.

These knitting skills are needed:
knit stitches, purl stitches, knitting in the round, knitting stitches together through the back loop.Crochet skills: chain stitches, slip stitches

Difficulty level: medium, easy for experienced knitters

A Touch of Something.. Reversible Loop/Hooded Scarf - One Size - nice and easy to knit

“A Touch of Something..” – versatile to wear e.g. as a reversible loop / hooded scarf / shoulder warmer.

One size – easy to knit.

The PDF pattern includes images from the image gallery.

These basic knitting skills are needed:
cast on stitches, knit and purl stitches, knit 2 stitches together, increase 1 stitch, knitting in the round, bind off.

We need:
just under 50 g Austermann Kid Silk (75% kid mohair, 25% silk 25 g/LL 225 m (hand wash), needle size 3 – 4; used here: circular knitting needle 3.5, stitch marker, yarn needle for weaving in ends, measuring tape, scissors

For knitting beginners, I recommend suitably thin (lace) yarns without mohair.

Like many of my patterns, this one is simple too:

Knitting pattern for an openwork shawl/scarf

All yarns and sizes you want are possible.

A feather-light gradient lace shawl (yarn used here: 150 g Austermann Caleido Lace for approx. 42 cm x 112 cm) in a simple lace pattern, which can be worn as a shoulder wrap, scarf, or even as a hooded scarf.

Basic knitting skills (casting on stitches, knit and purl stitches, edge stitches, yarn overs / knitting stitches together, binding off) are enough for this simple lace pattern.

There are several cast-on techniques for a knitted Möbius scarf.

3 Techniques - Knitted Möbius Scarf-Collar-Headband

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This presents the basic principle and three cast-on techniques for knitting Möbius scarves/loops . Try them out and choose your favorite method :-)

The PDF pattern is illustrated in detail and includes 2 patterns (see image gallery).

Model 1 – Colorful - is a Möbius loop/scarf with a circumference of approx. 90 cm and a height of approx. 20 cm, which can be worn wonderfully in different variations as a shoulder warmer and neck warmer (see image). For this we only need 1 skein of Woolly Hugs Bandy, here color no. 7, 100 g – 210 m, 100% cotton, gauge according to the ball band: 14 sts x 20 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm; circular knitting needle size 6.0 with a cable length of 1 m; stitch marker; measuring tape, scissors, tapestry needle for weaving in ends. If needed, a small leftover of a slightly thinner, color-coordinated yarn (e.g. Record 210 – potholder yarn, shown here in green) and crochet hook size 4.5.

Model II – Möbius Collar in Milk White nestles wonderfully around the neck like a turtleneck, but can also be worn as a headband. This model makes a wonderful gift and can be knitted in just a few hours. For this we only need 1 skein of merino yarn, 50 g – 85 m, e.g. Merino 85 by Austermann or Schachenmayr, 100% merino, according to the ball band for needle size 6–7 and a gauge of 16 sts x 22 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm. Used here: circular knitting needle size 6.0, cable length 80 cm to 100 cm; stitch marker; measuring tape, scissors, tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Both models are worked in a simple reversible rib pattern.

These knitting skills are required:
cast on stitches, knit and purl stitches, knitting in the round, knit stitches together, purl stitches together, yarn over, bind off. A basic knitting course is not included, but link tips are.

If you’d like to keep experimenting, I have created a calculation aid for this:
Excel spreadsheet for Möbius scarf calculation (click me)

  • Detailed, richly illustrated crochet pattern

Can also be worn as a hat scarf and looks great in gradient yarns too:

Crochet pattern triangular shawl for any yarn

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

For this triangular shawl for all seasons, you can basically use any yarn you like – the thinner, the more elegant. Size: any.

For the size made here, approx. 70 cm x 162 cm, I used 350 g Schachenmayr Cotton Bamboo, 50 g – 120 m, needle size according to the label 3 – 4, here crochet hook 4.0. For visual reasons, I would not recommend thicker yarn. I decided not to block the shawl for myself, because then the curves of the shell pattern stand out better –  but that’s a matter of taste.

These crochet skills are required:
chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, front post double crochet (explained).
Difficulty level: easy to intermediate - no crochet chart - no gauge required

The PDF pattern is illustrated over 15 pages, but is not a crochet course. A link/video tip for a crochet course and more is included.

The PDF includes

  • in the first part, a detailed pattern with corresponding images,
  • in the second part, a shorter version that also includes images, and
  • last but not least, a scarf/shawl variation in short form.

Whether sporty or elegant - whether summery or in winter colors/yarns:

Crochet pattern Bolero Cowl SANDRA to match the mesh shirt dress ROMINA

(To purchase/download, please click the image(s))

This circular scarf/cowl can also be worn as a bolero
– as shown here with the long shirt mesh dress “Romina” (the “Romina” crochet pattern is not included in this pattern, 'Romina' available here - click me).

The PDF crochet pattern is illustrated
and also includes a short printable version as well as crochet basics (basic techniques with pictures)

Basic crochet skills are enough.

Materials used here:
100 g turquoise + 50 g gray + 50 g white of Pantino cotton-blend yarn (Schoeller+Stahl), 60% cotton, 40% acrylic, 50 g – 90 m, according to the ball band for needle size 4–5 and gauge 17 sts = approx. 10 cm, but a 8.0 mm crochet hook was used here.

..a harmonious unit:

Crochet pattern for a poncho with Möbius shawl collar (loop) - easy

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Quick and easy to crochet...

Poncho and Möbius scarf are made with thick gradient yarn, 100 g – 100 m, and a size 8.0 crochet hook. Yarn required for both pieces: approx. 700 g. (I crocheted both in just 1 weekend).

The PDF pattern includes the poncho and Möbius scarf and is illustrated, but it is not a crochet course in itself.

These crochet skills are required:
chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, crocheting in rows, crocheting in rounds.

By the way: with a Möbius scarf, the pattern you make is mirrored, meaning one horizontal half looks like a right outer side, while the second half looks like a wrong inner side of the pattern. This creates sophisticated effects, depending on how the scarf is draped and how the pattern falls.

Pretty chic:

Crochet Beanie 'Tabata' & Möbius Scarf Collar/Loop (m/f)

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This crochet set (m/f) in fashionable gray consists of a beanie and a Möbius scarf collar/loop.

The PDF pattern is written for a head circumference of 52 cm – 60 cm and includes both – hat and loop (loop in one size).

It is illustrated, but requires general crochet skills (chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, crocheting in rounds, slip stitches, increases and decreases). The special stitches are illustrated and described. I would describe the difficulty level as “intermediate.”

For the hat, 150 g are required, and for the loop, 100 g of a yarn with 50 g – 75 m yardage. Unlike the hook size on the yarn label, crochet hook sizes 8.0 and 10.0 are used here.

WING SCARF / STOLE "AUTUMN BLISS" is my personal favorite piece!! Made from a cuddly-soft yarn, a simple wave pattern, and a somewhat unusual shape, it becomes a warm companion in silk and mohair for many occasions: sometimes elegantly draped around the shoulders, sometimes casually wrapped as a voluminous scarf, or as an elegant stole for an evening outfit—this wing scarf always fits! The lace pattern is easy to knit, but some knitting experience is helpful because of the wing shape.

Measurements: width approx. 190 cm, height approx. 40 cm

Required knitting techniques: knit and purl stitches, yarn overs, knitting stitches together, simple slipped-stitch decreases, short rows, working from a knitting chart.

Materials used: 200 g Fini Silk by Zauberwiese, long circular knitting needle size 4

Yarn alternatives: Kinu + Sensai by ITO knitted together, or any other yarn with approx. 300–350 m yardage/100 g; gradient yarns are also possible!

Here is the knitting pattern: Wing Scarf AUTUMN BLISS

Happy knitting from
Annette
