A wonderfully lightweight—yet still very warm thanks to the camel hair—poncho is waiting for you!

The technique is kept simple—but the little cable border adds the finishing touch!
Plus, the snowmen worked in beadwork look really nice and also serve to weigh down the poncho, ensuring it drapes neatly.
My son picked out the snowmen ;-) Of course, you can also leave them out or replace them!

This pattern is designed for sizes 38/40.
However, the included schematic and gauge make it possible to knit any size!

A detailed description guides you through the entire knitting process.

Material used here:
Austermann Softy (98% merino, 2% PAM) – hand wash, 50 g = 53 m length, -knitting needle 10.0 to 12.0 – here circular knitting needle size 10, at least 80 cm cable length. Gauge according to the yarn label: 8 sts = 10 cm. Amount used in these sizes:

If you'd like to get ready for the cool autumn days ahead, you might consider making a hat. You can make one in a weekend.

Here is the pattern.

It’s knitted from sock yarn, making it a lighter-weight style that’s well suited to the in-between season. The hat features a delicate lace pattern that tapers toward the top. The pattern is written out in full and presented in a knitting chart. The hat is available in two different sizes.

A triangular shawl to snuggle up in is just the thing for cozy weekends when it’s raining outside.

You can find the pattern here.

All you need is one skein of sock yarn. This shawl is very relaxing to knit, ideal for a night in front of the TV or when you have guests over. You’ll need to know how to knit and purl, and there are a few lace rows here and there. It practically knits itself.

This Advent calendar is an excellent weekend project: It takes just two days to make, after which you can take your time looking for the perfect gifts to fill it with. By the way: You can also use the box templates independently of the calendar for small gift packaging—the boxes are glued in just one spot, so they’re quick to assemble.

The entire Advent calendar is made of photo cardstock and measures approximately 26.5 x 4.5 x 30.5 cm. The individual boxes measure approximately 4 x 4 x 7 cm. With the detailed, illustrated craft instructions, even beginners can easily recreate it.
