This sweet cotton baby pinafore dress fits from 6 to 18 months. It grows with your child for a while. And it can be worn all year round.

The knitting pattern contains all the individual steps and lots of detailed photos. I would recommend it for knitters with a little experience. But beginners with basic knowledge can definitely give it a try too. The skirt has no seams and is knitted in one piece from bottom to top.

Here is the  knitting pattern for the baby pinafore skirt.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The grow-with-me pinafore skirt for toddlers from 1.5 to 5 years
This pinafore skirt can remain a little girl's favorite piece for a long time, because it grows with her. Little by little, it turns into a sweet skirt without straps.
This cotton pinafore skirt can also be knitted by beginners with a little experience. Every step is explained in detail in the knitting pattern and accompanied by photos.
The skirt is knitted in one piece from bottom to top, so it has no seams.
Here is the knitting pattern for the toddler pinafore skirt.
A simply made girls' cardigan — but really jazzed up by the trim!
This vest has no button band at all — so it is worn open.
This pattern is designed for size 116-122.
However, the included cut and gauge make it easy to make any size!
And here's the pattern and more details...
Our little girls want to be dressed fashionably too...
... and we want that too :-)
Cheerful colors and a sophisticated pattern make this soul warmer a MUST HAVE!
Knitted in the right quality yarn, this shrug can be worn in any season and for any occasion.
The finished shrug in the product image shows children's size 98.
However, the pattern is designed for sizes 50 - 152!
An accurate cut as well as 2 detailed diagrams make the knitting process easier.
You will also find size charts for ages 0 - 12 years in the pattern.
Gauge is listed as always—for any possible adjustments.
And here is the pattern and more details...
Our little girls will be perfectly “shod” in these ballerinas...
The button sets the trend!
Also an ideal project for using up leftovers. Finished in 1–2 hours!
The pattern is designed for a foot length of about 9–10 cm.
However, the included gauge makes it easy to make any size!
You will also find a table for baby and children's shoe sizes (incl. cm measurements) in the pattern.
And here’s the pattern and more details...
Looking for a pretty gift for a new little arrival?
Crocheted or rather knitted? This pattern also does not include a brief pattern for the knitted version.
Simple Baby Crochet Shoes - incl. knitted version
(For purchase/download, please click the image)
This is an illustrated crochet pattern for easy-to-crochet baby shoes.
Basic crochet skills are sufficient.
We need:
approx. 50 g cotton (blend) yarn with a yardage of approx. 90 m per 50 g, for (knitting) needle size 4.0–5.0; used here: crochet hook 4.5; thinner yarn can also be used - the specified measurements are what matter (check the gauge), leftover yarn for the bows or 2 pretty buttons, yarn needle, measuring tape, scissors
In addition to the detailed pattern, I have also created a short crochet pattern (sketch) as well as a short pattern for the knitted version.
Knitting pattern for preemie socks/baby/doll socks, also useful as a keychain
(To purchase/download, please click the image)
Sweet preemie socks for a total foot length from 4.5 cm can also be used as doll socks or keychains and/or as gift packaging for money.
The download includes 4 files:
  • PDF preemie sock size chart up to size 20 for baby socks
  • PDF pattern for the individual preemie socks, 4.5 cm to 7.5 cm total foot length
    (23 pages incl. pictures)
  • Detailed PDF pattern with lots of pictures for the basic method (using newborn socks as an example – 17 pages)
  • PDF handwritten sketches (using a newborn sock as an example – 2 pages)
General knitting skills (as well as knitting stitches together) are sufficient.
Required materials for 1 pair of socks up to newborn size: approx. 10 g 4-ply sock yarn, or leftover yarn. You will also need a set of double-pointed needles size 2.5, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for sewing in ends, and possibly a key ring
Not just for Oktoberfest season:
Knitting pattern for a baby traditional vest, size 86/92, with intarsia cable
(Please click the image to purchase/download)
For this special sleeveless baby vest without buttons, we need:
150 g gray merino wool + 50 g red merino wool, here Schachenmayr Merino Extrafine 120, 50 g – 120 m yardage, gauge according to the ball band: 22 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm, knitting needles 3.0–4.0; here: knitting needles 4.0, cable needle, crochet hook 3.5 for the bow, stitch holder or similar for putting stitches on hold, yarn needle for weaving in ends, a stitch marker is helpful.
The PDF pattern is illustrated.
The red cable on the back is worked in intarsia technique (illustrated explanation is included) and requires a little time and skill - so I would not recommend it for knitting beginners.
The cable also looks lovely in solid gray, and the whole piece is then knitted up quite quickly. For knitting beginners, I therefore recommend knitting this vest completely without the cable and/or in one color.
This will keep (baby and kids’) feet warm:
Sock-knitting course for socks made with 6-ply yarn - with charts for all sizes
(To purchase/download, please click the image)
Socks made with 6-ply sock yarn are a little thicker – and therefore warmer – and, above all, faster to knit than socks made with 4-ply yarn.
They are usually preferred for house and bed socks, hut slippers, or even for hiking in mountain boots. Men love these socks in work boots.
This is a sock-knitting course, shown using children’s socks in size 32/33 and richly illustrated.
All other sizes can be knitted according to the corresponding chart information for 6-ply sock yarn .
Included in the download :
  • PDF sock-knitting pattern - illustrated step by step (22 pages)
  • Baby sock chart for 6-ply sock yarn for newborns up to shoe size 20
  • Sock chart for 6-ply sock yarn for children’s socks up to adult shoe size 47
We need
  • for baby socks, approx. 25 g
  • up to shoe size 33, approx. 50 g
  • 1 ball = 150 g (yardage approx. 420 m to 450 m) up to shoe size 44;
  • 200 g – 250 g from size 45
of a 6-ply sock yarn; used here is the especially soft Christmas yarn color 02 “Mally Socks – Lungauer Sockenwolle” by Ferner Wolle, 75% merino, 25% polyamide; gauge approx. 22 sts x 31 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm; set of double-pointed needles size 3.5; row counter is helpful; measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.
For 4-ply sock yarns, there is a separate sock-knitting course with corresponding charts - available here: https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/5603/sockenstrick-lehrgang-fuer-4-faediges-garn-alle-groessen-fuer-baby-kinder-damen-herrensocken
These two pieces are from the “Jakob” baby knitting set (click here):
JAKOB Baby Cardigan plus Loop
(Please click the image to purchase/download)
This baby cardigan (from the 4-piece “Jakob” set) can be worn in all seasons, and without the loop also on cool summer days. The loop is knitted separately and buttons up at the back.
The set is available in size 62/68, but can also be worn in size 74 if needed – it “grows with the baby” – made from soft, temperature-regulating merino yarn with a length of approx. 120 to 130 m (e.g. from Schachenmayr) for needle sizes 3 to 4.
Basic knitting skills are sufficient.
Included in the download:
  • PDF pattern for the “Jakob” baby jacket – illustrated
  • PDF pattern for the “Jakob” baby loop – illustrated
  • PDF measurements for traditional baby jackets up to size 74
This classic is a must-have:
Baby traditional-style knitted jacket size 50/56 incl. gauge conversion table
(For purchase/download, please click the image)
This jacket can also be knitted without sleeves (then crochet around the armholes once in green with single crochet stitches) as a vest.
For the pictured model of this easy-to-knit baby traditional-style jacket, you will need approx. 100 g of 4-ply sock yarn or similar, e.g. Zimba Top by Schoeller+Stahl in classic traditional gray + 50 g (or leftover yarn) for the border, knitted in traditional green, knitting needle size 3.0, and, if desired, a crochet hook size 3 - 3.5 for the decorative foundation chain on the band.
The PDF pattern contains 15 images.
Also included in the download as a bonus is the simple version of my Excel table for quickly converting your gauge to the desired size (usable for all knitted/crocheted pieces,
calculation program required, e.g. Excel or LibreOffice; the latter is available online for free).
Basic knitting skills are required (i.e. the latter are not illustrated).
Required knitting skills: long-tail cast-on, knit stitches, bind off, increase stitches (from the strand between stitches), yarn over (for the buttonholes), knit 2 stitches together.
with adjustment options for sizes 50 to 104.
Basic knitting techniques plus cabling, knitting stitches together, and increasing stitches from the strand between stitches are used – everything is explained with pictures. Difficulty level: medium.
The download includes:
  • PDF knitting pattern with lots of pictures (29 pages)
    incl. short version for printing
  • PDF Knitting Basics – basic knitting techniques with pictures
  • PDF baby measurements for this traditional jacket model sizes 50 to 104
Even very young children are fascinated by fingerplays. With these funny finger puppets, you can train your baby's attention. Soon they will follow them with their eyes, later reach for them, and when they are bigger, they will want to play with them themselves. Then little everyday situations are acted out and processed that way. In my shop you’ll find a whole selection of finger puppets:
