THE LITTLE MERMAID

With this pattern, you can transform your Barbie doll into Hans Christian Andersen’s Little Mermaid. The tail is very easy to crochet. Maybe a little doll owner would like to give it a try herself? All you need is basic crochet skills and leftover yarn in shades of blue or green, plus a tiny bit of pink for the flowers on the top and headpiece. If you want to give your mermaid an extra touch of elegance, you can also sew on a few beads. Get started right away!

Crochet Pattern Gift Packaging

A question many parents dread: “Does Santa Claus really exist?”
The fairy tale of Santa Claus is surely the most wonderful thing there can be for children.

Now take a look at the clothesline—what’s hanging there?
Santa Claus’s entire outfit, because he has a big load of laundry and absolutely no desire to wrap packages. This year, his gift sack will be filled with money and gift cards. After it’s emptied, the picture can still be used as funny decoration.

Info & pattern are available here

The pattern is absolutely suitable for beginners and written without abbreviations. For the clothing, I used leftover cotton yarn in the corresponding colors.

With these finger puppets, you can reenact the fairy tale of Sleeping Beauty. If you give the king brown hair, he can be the prince who kisses Sleeping Beauty awake.

A little mermaid to dress up is always fun. And if she ever wants to dance, there’s a tutu and shoes for her, too.

The doll is really easy to crochet. Since it’s worked almost entirely in one piece, there’s no need for the tedious task of weaving in ends. Thanks to the pipe cleaners in her arms and legs, she’s flexible enough to be dressed up nicely... The tail is included in the doll pattern.

Skills required:
  • single crochet
  • half double crochet
  • double crochet
  • increases and decreases

Gnomes aren’t just for Christmas or fairy tales—from now on, they can be a permanent part of your home. Not only do they look fun, but they also serve a lot of great and useful purposes:

  • You can use them to wrap gifts (e.g., money, jewelry, candy, and much more).
  • They’re a huge hit as egg cozies.
  • They make a cute little gift for young and old alike.
  • They keep your knitting and crocheting supplies safe, such as buttons.
  • They can also store jewelry inside them.
  • They also work well as Advent calendars.
  • They’re a huge hit at kids’ birthday parties and are sure to bring lots of joy.
  • And of course, they’re also a great toy for kids.
One thing is certain:
wherever these cute little gnomes are placed, they spread joy and good cheer! :-)
They’re sure to be a hit as gifts anywhere, not just for Secret Santa.
Kids, in particular, will love them!

I’d rate the difficulty level as easy. It just takes a little patience and skill to shape the faces.

Beginners with basic skills can easily and quickly recreate these gnomes.

The individual steps are described in detail in the pattern. The PDF file is 21 pages long and includes 53 individual photos.

As befits gnomes, they’ve now been given a house to live in. It’s quick and easy to crochet using the pattern, provided you have basic crocheting skills.

The house is versatile and sure to put you in a good mood. In my case, this house holds my yarn. The opening at the top means you can store all sorts of small items there, such as needles or buttons.

For kids, the house is a great toy—especially when paired with the gnomes, which are also available in my shop. It’s perfect for storing lots of treasures and inspires all kinds of new play ideas.
