In the pattern, you’ll find a crochet chart as well as a detailed explanation of the pattern with lots of pictures.

For the shawl, you’ll need a size 3 crochet hook and a Bobbel made of 50% cotton, 50% acrylic – 1000 m/200 grams in your desired color.
For the size 50 cm x 180 cm, I used a total of 280 grams of gradient Bobbel.

This asymmetrical summer dress is guaranteed to be an eye-catcher thanks to the longer back and the beautiful color gradient. 

Since this is worked in rounds, you avoid the hassle of sewing pieces together. The main part of the dress consists of two relatively simple crochet patterns, separated by single crochet and half double crochet stitches. The border is then crocheted onto the hem at the end.

The dress can be crocheted in all sizes, but this requires the following:

Crochet Pattern Poncho "Elegance"

Because it is knitted on the bias, the gradients in the yarn show off very nicely. The scarf is easy to knit, mainly in stockinette stitch. It has a lace edge on one side. A clever detail is the ends that taper to a point—you start and end with just a few stitches each. The pattern is variable in width, so you can easily make it into a wider shawl. In that case, however, you should plan on using more yarn.
For one scarf, one skein of sock yarn is enough; it is knitted with 3.5 mm needles.

A beautiful model for yarns with long color gradients is this stole, which is knitted in brioche stitch.

The pattern is easy and very relaxing to knit. If you've never knitted brioche stitch before, it's explained in a photo tutorial and really isn't hard at all.
I knitted my stole from a cotton-blend yarn with 329 m per 100 g. It should be something of a comparable weight. The amount needed depends entirely on the desired length. But you should plan on at least 600 m, since brioche stitch uses up a lot of yarn.

Ideal for Bobbels is the crocheted shawl Tausendschön. The pattern is absolutely suitable for beginners. Thanks to its shape and size, this beautiful shawl can be used in many ways.

The Mephiraso shawl is a dragon tail crocheted with raised ribs and a small openwork pattern.
