Hello everyone, my name is Matilda and I’m a cute little ladybug girl. I love spring and summer more than anything and would love to become your new cuddle buddy :-). I’m only about 7 cm tall (8 cm with antennae) and fit perfectly on or in any bag, as well as on your keys if you’d like to use me as a keychain. We also need: yarn needle for weaving in ends, scissors. A stitch marker

Sweet preemie socks for a total foot length starting at 4.5 cm can also be used as doll socks or keychains, as gift packaging for money, or even to decorate a Christmas tree – there are no limits to your imagination.. It’s knitted in rounds from top to bottom. There’s a knitting chart for the hearts. The pattern is a great introduction to Fair Isle knitting: it’s small and manageable, so you won’t have to struggle with it for long!

Giraffe Peppi  

This is warmth, this is sunshine, this is a smile on your face :-) A fun way to use up leftover yarn. 

The giraffe is made with fine crochet thread and will be about 27 cm tall. A hook size no. 2 - 2.5 works well. A little stuffing, 2 eyes, and a blunt needle. If you prefer crocheting with thicker yarn, the neck will be a little wobbly. But Peppi also looks great as a floppy animal. At least that’s what my neighbor’s daughter says ;-) Magic ring, single crochet, and increases and decreases. With about 35 - 40 g of yarn, the giraffe is finished very quickly and can move into your home.

The slip scarf DONAR



Slip scarves are ideal for our little ones, as without knots there is less risk of strangulation.

The scarf is loosely draped around the shoulder and simply secured by pulling one end through the opening. No knot or button is needed!

This pattern is also ideal for using up leftovers. You can knit the scarf with any type of yarn. The red scarf shown is made from leftover sock yarn from Wollmeise, and the purple scarf from leftover gradient yarn / Bobbel.

I would recommend thicker cotton, since you don’t want to burn your fingers on hot pots. The pattern is very easy; you just need to know knit and purl stitches.

For your new crafting bucket you’ll need:

• a 5-kg bucket (restaurants often give them away for free; just ask the next time you visit one),
  
• 220 g inexpensive acrylic yarn (Lisa, Bravo, or leftover yarn)
