A magical lace shawl that frequent crocheters will finish very quickly is the shawl Fuego.

The pattern in this beautiful crocheted lace shawl is reminiscent of little flames, and that is where the name comes from. Fuego is Spanish and means "fire".

The shawl is started at the neckline edge and crocheted from top to bottom. It has a classic triangular shape.

Materials needed:
  • approx. 200 grams or approx. 750–800 meters of yarn (e.g. lace yarn, sock yarn, or a “Bobbel” made from plied yarn)
  • crochet hook size 3–3.5
  • scissors
  • sewing needle
Skills needed:
  • chain stitches
  • single crochet
  • double crochet
  • treble crochet
Finished measurements of the shawl: approx. 180 x 80 cm.
The pattern is 10 pages long and includes written instructions as well as charts and a schematic drawing. Difficulty level: easy.

Fast and frequent crocheters will be truly happy with this crochet pattern for the beautiful shawl Tausendschön.

Tausendschön is a wonderfully large shawl that is the perfect accessory for many occasions. Because of its slightly asymmetrical shape, it can be worn in many different ways. The little flowers, which also gave the scarf its name, are crocheted on as you go and are the highlight!

The shawl can be crocheted in many yarn weights. The size can also be varied freely.

  • crochet hook size 3–4
  • sewing needle
  • scissors
  • kitchen scale (to calculate the amount used)
  • possibly a little spray starch
Skills needed:
  • chain stitches
  • single crochet stitches
  • slip stitches
  • double crochet stitches
  • crocheting stitches together
A photo tutorial shows how the little flowers are crocheted.

Blue Lagoon is a magical triangular shawl that is crocheted from top to bottom.

Skills needed:
  • Basic skills
  • Front post double crochet

This crocheted scarf looks particularly elegant thanks to its incorporated beads. The beads also give it its name. “Peara” is a word in Māori, the language of New Zealand’s indigenous people, and means “pearl.”

Even without the beads, the scarf is a real eye-catcher. Thanks to its construction, it drapes beautifully and can be worn in many different ways. The pattern is very easy to remember and quick to crochet.

The scarf’s length and width can be adjusted, and it can be crocheted with almost any yarn.
It looks especially beautiful when made with a gradient yarn, such as 100Farbspiele or Laceball by Schoppel.
Dimensions after blocking: approx. 200 x 40 cm

Materials needed:

  • approx. 100–200 grams of yarn (or 800–1000 meters)
  • Crochet hook appropriate for the yarn used (if you crochet tightly, use a larger size)
  • Beads (e.g., rocailles—the hole should be large enough so that it
  • doesn’t sit too tightly on the yarn)
  • a piece of very thin wire for threading the beads
  • Sewing needle for sewing up
Required skills:
  • chain stitches
  • single crochet
  • double crochet
  • crocheting stitches together

The pattern is 11 pages long and includes a detailed photo tutorial on how to crochet the beads along the edge and into the flower pattern, as well as written instructions and charts.
Difficulty level: easy.

If you enjoy crocheting a lot, how about an entire train? You can decide how long it should be yourself by the number of cars. If you crochet each car in a different color, your train will be especially beautiful and colorful. The locomotive and cars are crocheted with single crochet stitches and are coupled together with hook-and-loop fasteners.
You can find the patterns here:

With the help of this pattern, you can crochet a beautiful cowl in pastel colors made of pure silk for summer. The lovely color transitions are created by the gradient yarn used. Of course, you can also crochet this cowl with solid-colored yarn or use any other type of yarn.
  • The pattern is fully illustrated and suitable for beginners with basic crochet skills. However, you should already be familiar with the basics of crochet, as the pattern does not include a crochet tutorial. This pattern is still quite simple, though, since you only need to know how to make chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, and slip stitches.
  • Yarn requirements: 250g total, with a yardage of 100m per 50g. Crochet hook size 4
