These knitting skills are used:

Pins for blocking.

Knitted Shirt/Sweater 'ALGARVE'

Two in one pattern:
Sleeveless long top, ideal with leggings, and with sleeves, a cotton sweater knitted in a simple lace pattern .

Because of the pattern, it comes out as ONE SIZE for women's sizes 38 - 44. Smaller sizes can be worn as "oversized." Weight gain or loss is therefore no problem.

Required materials:
300 g (without sleeves) / 550 g (sweater) Austermann Algarve (100% cotton; 50 g – 142 m) for needle size 2.5 – 3.5; here: knitting needle 3.5, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle, row counter helpful but not absolutely required.
Gauge according to the ball band: 27 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

The PDF pattern contains the images from the image gallery; due to the simple cut, no additional images are included. 

Basic knitting skills are required, including yarn over, knit 2 stitches together, slip 1, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over (explained).

Quickly Knitted Summer Shirt

This easy-to-knit summer model in size 38/40 is made from 250 g cotton blend yarn for needle size 3.5 - 4.0, 50 g - 125 m.

The PDF pattern is illustrated.

The finished shirt has a stretchy back width of approx. 44 cm and is approx. 65 cm long, but it also looks pretty shorter. Thanks to the simple pattern (made up of yarn overs, knit and purl stitches) and cut, this piece can be easily adjusted to any size.

What else you need:
measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends, stitch holder, if needed a set of double-pointed needles size 3.5 - 4.0, row counter and stitch markers are helpful, but not absolutely necessary.

Cardigan/Long Cardigan MARGIT Size 38 to 46 OneSize - Oversize

This comfortable, cozy knitted piece in an oversized style weighs only about 275 g with the yarns used here, so it is feather-light. Both patterns used are absolutely easy. The collar shaping requires a little care. The length is variable.

The model shown is knitted with two strands held together and needle size 6.0 mm using
175 g KidSilk by Austermann plus 100 g Merino Lace by Austermann. Alternatively, yarns can be chosen with a needle size suitable for the yarn that roughly corresponds to a gauge of 17 sts = approx. 10 cm with size 6.0 mm knitting needles, e.g. approx. 450 g Dolce Mohair (Mondial) - knitted with a single strand. Additional yarn alternatives - including ones without mohair - are listed in the pattern.
Stitch markers are highly recommended.


The illustrated PDF pattern with stitch-by-stitch and row-by-row instructions is based on the gauge mentioned above. Because of the jacket’s relaxed shape and stretch, one stitch more or less is not too significant. If your gauge differs more substantially, please choose a larger or smaller knitting needle size.

Cardigan/Knitted Jacket Gita - Sizes 36 to 42 One Size

A lightweight knitted piece for every season – whether worn over or under – simple, with an eye-catching collar area. Both patterns used are absolutely easy (only knit and purl stitches). The collar shaping requires a little attention.  Unlike the “Margit” model, the sleeves are knitted with a sleeve cap. The length is variable.

The illustrated pattern with stitch- and row-by-row instructions is based on a gauge of approx. 14.5 sts = approx. 10 cm with size 6.0 knitting needles. Due to the jacket’s relaxed shape and stretch, one stitch more or less is not all that crucial. So it’s no problem if 14 or 15 sts = approx. 10 cm. If your gauge differs more significantly, please choose a larger or smaller knitting needle size. The pattern does not include a knitting course, but it does include relevant link tips.

Difficulty level:   medium (because of the collar shaping)


We need
225 g KidSilk by Austermann, color 40 Emerald, 75% kid mohair, 25% silk, details according to the label: needle size 3–4, 18 sts x 26 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm, hand wash, 25 g – 225 m yardage;

Alternative yarns: e.g. Kid-Seta (Schulana) or Kid Mohair/KidSilk (Adriafil) – the same amount in each case for the total back length knitted here of approx. 71 cm. This material is knitted with yarn held double.

You can also use yarns such as Creative Melange chunky (Rico), if the labels indicate a gauge of approx. 14 sts = approx. 10 cm with size 6.0 needles. In that case, knit with a single strand and allow for approx. 100 g more yarn (due to the jacket length and collar) than recommended on the label.

Used here: size 6.0 knitting needles, pins, measuring tape, yarn needle for weaving in ends, scissors, stitch markers, and possibly a row counter.

Feather-Light Knitted Poncho/Stole – Very Easy

This is a short pattern for a feather-light poncho in one size that is very easy to knit, using just 100 g of KidSilk (Austermann).

The pattern includes the preview image.

Required knitting skills :
Casting on, edge stitch (your favorite edge stitch), knit stitch and purl stitch, bind off.

By the way: This poncho can also be knitted as a warm outdoor poncho using thick yarn (100 g - 100 m) with size 8.0 needles. Yarn required: approx. 700 g. The number of stitches always depends on your individual gauge. This sweater with a mesh pattern knits up very quickly.

The pattern is written simply and is easy to follow.
It’s available in sizes 36–46.

It is knitted from slightly lustrous cotton using 3.5 mm needles.

This simple but eye-catching cowl is super quick to knit and easy to make in many yarn weights.



The size can be customized, as can the amount of yarn used. The cowl is also very well suited for using up scraps and working with different yarn weights. There are no limits to your creativity!



Materials needed:

• approx. 100–200 g yarn (up to max. DK weight)
• 2 circular knitting needles, 80 or 100 cm long, with at least half a needle size difference (for lace yarn, I recommend needle sizes 3 and 3.5)
• Measuring tape
• Digital kitchen scale or other precision scale
• Stitch markers

Skills needed:

• knitting in the round


There is no prescribed stitch count for the cowl. You need a gauge swatch to calculate the required number of stitches.

The pattern is 5 pages long and includes many examples for using different yarns.
The cowl requires almost only knit stitches, so it’s also super easy for beginners to make!
