Dear users, dear authors,
gray mice are great for cuddling, and elephants and dolphins also love playing with the little ones and helping them fall asleep. Dogs and cats come in shades of gray, too.
Now make your own gray favorite animals.

@Authors,
this is a promotional thread for all authors here on Crazypatterns.
2–3 patterns per author are enough.
Only CP links may be used. Please link directly to the respective pattern, not to the shop overview page.
The image should be of good quality.
The usual information about material, technique, difficulty level, and
what makes the pattern special should not be missing either.

Isn’t she cute, this little seal? She wants to impress you with her ball skills so she can dangle from your keychain in the future.
If you have some leftover gray yarn, you can get started right away and have her crocheted in no time, because the pattern explains every single step in detail and includes plenty of pictures. You can download it here:

Geld Donkey Moneyshit

Everyone wants a donkey that can shit money........ Inspired by the fairy tale "The Wishing-Table, the Gold-Donkey and the Cudgel in the Sack", which featured the gold donkey, I have now crocheted a money donkey. This donkey can not only swallow money, as shown in the picture here, but when he lifts his tail, loose change also falls out of his backside. This is a great way to give a loved one a truly original cash gift.

Moneyshit measures 27 cm at the withers (44 cm from the tip of the ear to the hoof) and is 50 cm long. Of course, you can see a few more pictures of him here, and there is also a short video to go with it.

Difficulty level : Easy to intermediate

What you’ll need :

  • Gründl Lisa yarn (gray – approx. 300 g -)
  • Some light gray, black, red, white, yellow (Happy by Gründl),
  • Stuffing, Tic Tac box
  • A little superglue
  • Adhesive tape
  • Two large safety eyes
  • 3.5 mm crochet hook, yarn needle and scissors
Most parts are worked in spiral rounds and joined together later.

Here is the pattern
Manni in a little rascal outfit

approx. 100–150 g plain gray knitting and crochet yarn (similar to Schachenmayr Bravo) yardage 100-125 m / 50 g
approx. 50 g each of white and 50 g light gray yarn as above
leftovers for the slippers and the cuddly cloth For the knitted outfit: set of double-pointed needles, circular knitting needle size 4–4.5 (knitted clothing)
approx. 50 g pink yarn (yardage approx. 110 m / 50 g)
approx. 100 g variegated yarn (yardage approx. 100 m / 50 g) For the crocheted outfit: crochet hook size 3.5–4
approx. 50 g cotton yarn and/or other smooth yarn (yardage approx. 115 m / 50 g)
approx. 100 g variegated yarn (yardage approx. 100 m / 50 g)
black yarn for embroidering stuffing, safety eyes Some crochet experience is helpful; you should know double crochet, single crochet and chain stitches, as well as crocheting in rounds.
Knowing how to make post double crochets would also be good, but it is not required

Despite his horn, Nils the Rhinoceros is by no means dangerous and just wants to be cuddled.

Using the specified materials, Nils the Rhinoceros will measure an impressive 44 cm in length. Personally, I recommend using cotton yarn for making all of my amigurumis.

The pattern includes many step-by-step photos to make it easier to follow. However, basic crochet knowledge (single crochet, increases/decreases, etc.) is required.

Donnie Donkey is by no means a stubborn donkey. At 44 cm long, he is really cuddly and ideal for being snuggled all day long.

I personally recommend cotton yarn for making all my amigurumi.

The pattern includes many step-by-step photos that make it easier to recreate. Basic crochet skills (single crochet, increases/decreases, etc.) are required, however.

  • Crochet pattern: Hippo and Mouse

The hippos Paul and Paula and their little friend, Pipsi the mouse, invite you to the Hippodrome for the ballet of the pachyderms.... Two giants and one tiny little one provide fun, play, and excitement. You just have to love them. For playing, cuddling, or giving as a gift,

the hippos are about 30 cm tall and the little one… about 10 cm, but when they dance, the three of them are an unbeatable team—and the difference in size doesn’t even matter anymore.

The pattern for Paul and Paula is 16 pages long, and the one for Pipsi is 10 pages, both with detailed step-by-step photos. Just right for beginners with basic skills. (Techniques used, such as the magic ring and invisible decreases, are explained in detail with words and pictures.)
Materials and supplies:
  • 4 mm crochet hook
  • Yarn and leftover yarn in gray, green, red, pink, or fuchsia, and white
  • 2 pairs of 15 mm safety eyes for the hippos (alternatively, these can also be embroidered on)
  • 1 pair of googly eyes for the mouse
  • 2 buttons
  • stuffing

And the best is saved for last:

Maggie Mouse will be approx. 45 cm tall when standing and will win every heart at a mouse’s gallop.
Chain stitches, single crochet, and sometimes double crochet. Approx. 100 g of yarn and a
size 3 hook. A little stuffing and two eyes. That’s all there is to it. Quick and easy to make.
Who could resist this mouse?

Have fun crocheting :-)

You can find Emil the raven here...

I’m Emil. I actually wanted to be a duck. But life as a raven isn’t too bad either. Little girls always think I’m especially cute, and big boys think I’m cool. And honestly... I think I’m absolutely super cool myself ;-) As for the cute part, well... girls, you know ;-)

Single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet, two eyes and stuffing. Use the yarn you have at home. From 70 g if you crochet with acrylic. A little more with cotton.
It’s best to get started right away, then I can lounge comfortably on the couch with you sometime too :-)

Have fun crocheting...

Nili the hippopotamus loves to take it easy. He tends to take things slowly—speed just isn’t his thing. He loves nothing more than wallowing in his mud bath and resting under palm trees while taking a little nap. But if you need a friend, he’s a loyal companion—and he’ll even swing down from his hammock to join you on your latest adventures.

You can find the crochet pattern and all other details here: Pattern – Crochet Nili the Hippopotamus
