If you like working with purple yarn, you’re sure to have some left over now and then. What can you do with the scraps? If you crochet this enchanting unicorn, you can use up some of them. It’s very easy to crochet, so it’s absolutely suitable for beginners too.

This trapezoid shawl in purple and lilac, named "Sweet Dreams," stands out thanks to its unusual shape.

It offers many different ways to wear it and has a beautiful pattern. Using the specified yarn and hook size, the shawl measures
approx. 1.85 m x 0.60 m. It is relatively easy to crochet, so ambitious beginners shouldn’t have any problems. You should only be familiar with chain stitches,
single crochet, double crochet, and front post double crochet
stitches.

Material:
  • a 4-ply gradient yarn (approx. 265 g) with a total length of 1000 m was used here
  • Size 3 crochet hook

Crocheted spring/summer shirt in soft colors

--> Get the pattern here

Spring is here, and inspired by nature, I designed this airy summer top, which can be worn in spring as well as summer and is an eye-catcher thanks to its zigzag pattern.

The summer top consists of three different crochet patterns, which are explained here in the form of crochet charts as well as written instructions. Many photos also help you along.

The information is for size M/L. Of course, I indicate approximately how many pattern repeats you need to plan for other sizes.

Difficulty level: Easy to intermediate

What you need for it:

Yarn:
200 grams each of two different colors (e.g., white/lilac) of Gründl Cotton Light (100 g = 200 m)
Recommended hook size 4, plus a yarn needle and scissors

You should know the following stitches:

chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, simple sewing together

This delicate scarf is purple, made from sock yarn and knitted in a lace and cable pattern. Of course, you’re welcome to use other colors—mine just happens to be purple :-)
Knitted on 3.5 mm needles, you can learn more about it here.

Crochet Möbius Collar 1-2-3-4

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This collar gives sweaters and shirts a wonderful boost.

It is crocheted from approx. 60 g of a merino yarn with 50 g – 160 m yardage and hook size 3–4 (here with a 3.5 mm crochet hook) and is quickly finished in an afternoon. Beginners should allow themselves a little more crochet time.

Other yarns with a matching hook size can also be used. In my opinion, however, the pattern shows to better advantage in finer yarns.

The Möbius technique in crochet is considerably easier than in knitting.

For the illustrated PDF pattern , basic crochet knowledge is sufficient (chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch). Link tips for learning to crochet are included.

Basically, you can use any yarn you like, with a hook about one to two sizes larger than recommended on the yarn label. Fine lace yarns are especially recommended for this pattern. 4-ply sock yarn also works well.

Crochet Pattern Horse Keychain

**I crocheted this keychain for you in 2 sizes.
  • 10.00 cm, great as a bag charm
  • 8 cm as a keychain
Also perfect as a lovely birthday gift or as a giveaway at a children's birthday party. I have explained everything step by step and included lots of pictures. This makes this crochet project well suited for beginners, too.

Materials
  • Catania yarn 125 m/50 g (various colors - also leftovers)
  • Crochet hook 2.5
  • Sewing needle
  • Scissors
  • Stuffing
I did NOT crochet the horses in the typical way in rounds, but in rows. I have also described in detail how to do that. They consist of 3 different parts, and the front and back are sewn together.

Have fun crafting!

Who already has purple-lilac slippers that are also cozy and warm? I especially like these colors combined with gray. Thebutton on the collar is handmade, by the way in exactly the matching shade.

You can get to the knitting and felting pattern for the felt booties by clicking here!

With the pattern, you can knit felted shoes in all shoe sizes . The washing machine takes care of the felting. You’ll need felting wool (amount depending on shoe size) and 2 size 7 circular knitting needles.

The pattern is also suitable for knitting beginners and anyone who has never felted before.

I hope you have lots of fun with the pattern and always warm feet. Yours, Ina

The transitional season brings just about every kind of weather…
In the morning and evening, it can be very pleasant to put on a matching hat with your shoulder warmer.

This duo works up quickly. The accent determines the color combination.
You get 2 patterns for the price of 1!

This pattern is designed for sizes M/L.
The head circumference is approximately 52-54 cm.
However, the cut and the gauge make it possible to make any size.

A detailed description guides you through the pattern structure - for clarification, charts in crochet chart format can also be found in the pattern.
In addition, a schematic diagram helps with finishing the poncho.

This beautiful shawl stands out thanks to its diagonal pattern and the border made of lots of little flowers.
They also give the shawl its name - Tausendschön.

Because of its slightly asymmetrical shape, it can be worn in many different ways.
The shawl can be crocheted in many yarn weights. The size can also be varied freely.

Materials needed:
  • approx. 1500 meters of 3- to 4-ply yarn (e.g., lace yarn, gradient yarn cake, or sock yarn)
  • crochet hook size 3–4
  • sewing needle
  • scissors
  • kitchen scale (to calculate yardage)
  • possibly some spray starch
Skills needed:
  • chain stitches
  • slip stitches
  • single crochet stitches
  • double crochet stitches
  • crocheting stitches together

A photo tutorial shows how the little flowers are crocheted.
Finished measurements: approx. 184–90 cm (but it can also be made smaller or larger).
The pattern has 12 pages and includes written instructions as well as charts, a schematic drawing, and a photo tutorial.
Difficulty level: easy.

Very practical for small gifts is this gift bag in soft purple. CDs, bag charms, cosmetics, jewelry, and similarly small or narrow items can be festively packaged in it and presented in style.

The small bag, approx. 15 x 17 x 6 cm and made from photo cardstock, is easy and quick to craft and also well suited for craft beginners.

With the help of this pattern, you can crochet a pretty skirt (any size).
The comfortable elastic band is worked directly into the waistband as you crochet, making it easier for the girl to put the skirt on and take it off.
  • The pattern is fully illustrated and suitable for beginners with basic crochet skills.
This pattern is still quite simple, as you only need to know how to make chain stitches, double crochets, and single crochets.

Here is the pattern

You can make the asymmetrical Hemera shawl with thin yarn in summer as well as with thick wool in winter. I designed it so that you are very flexible with the size. By adding pattern repeats, the shawl is made larger, and by leaving them out, it is made smaller. This also means no leftover wool remains, since you can use up everything you have.

Materials:Yarn: Merino Big by Drops (100% merino), yardage 75 meters / 50 g, 6 skeins.Knitting needles: size 6 mm circular knitting needles, 1 cable needle size 6 mm.Other: stitch markers, possibly a row counter, yarn needle.Gauge: 14 stitches and 25 rows over 10 cm in garter stitch with size 6 mm needles, after washing. The
gauge for this project is not that important. A different
gauge will, however, result in a larger or smaller shawl and
in lower or higher yarn consumption.Finished measurements: 200 cm wide and 65 cm deep (measured at the deepest point).

In vibrant purple, this stole is a real eye-catcher. Of course, you can also use other colors.
It’s knitted in a lace pattern, which is clearly illustrated both in written form and as a knitting chart, using 3.5mm needles and merino wool; 160m per 50g. You can also use other yarns. Yarn requirements depend on the desired length.
The pattern isn’t necessarily intended for beginners; a little experience with lace patterns is helpful. You can find the stole here .

Are you looking for a pillow for kids or for a child’s room? How about one of these two pillow covers? Owls and flowers are especially popular motifs with girls and can, of course, be crocheted in their favorite colors. The pillows can be closed directly and washed as a whole. This means you don’t have to sew in a zipper, which is always a bit tricky with yarn.

You’ll find all additional information—such as required materials, the yarn used, and the crochet pattern—by clicking the links next to the corresponding image. This will take you directly to the product page.
