Crochet pattern Sunset Shawl

In spring or summer, airy shawls are a must-have. They always look good and are also fun to crochet.

This version is relatively pointed and elongated, but of course you can also crochet it wider if you like. I explain how to do that in the pattern. In that case, it’s better to use a cake with 1000 m of yardage. The pattern includes a crochet chart as well as written explanations, making it suitable for everyoneSkill level: EasyWhat you need:

Even knitting beginners can knit this casually cool summer poncho! The knitting pattern and the design are suitable for knitting beginners and pros alike. We only knit knit stitches, purl stitches, and yarn overs. 4 pattern rows alternate throughout. But you don’t have to be able to read complicated knitting charts, although a knitting chart

• Thanks to its clever cut and elegant drape, the poncho is an absolute figure flatterer and conceals small problem areas. It weighs just under 200 g and fits in any handbag.

The airy, lightweight knitted lace shawl is an absolute eye-catcher. It can be worn however you like, with a little black dress or casually with jeans. It looks so wonderful—and is easy to make, because exactly two pattern rows are repeated over and over. That’s why it is a
lace shawl for beginners.

Got leftover yarn from crocheting amigurumi? Then put it to good use:


No one likes walking barefoot on cold tile floors. That’s where these lightweight house socks come in handy. You can knit them in sizes 37–39 and 40–42. Don’t worry about the heel—it’s sewn together at the end.

This stole is well suited for beginners, featuring a simple knit-and-purl pattern that is written out in full and shown in a knitting chart. It’s really not rocket science, and it’s also quick to finish in a thicker yarn.
My original shawl is made with Lana Grossa Primavera (pure cotton with a yardage of 170 m per 100 g, 3 balls of it), knitted on 5.5 mm needles, but of course you can use other yarns as well.

And while crocheting, you can also do some upcycling, since all you need is an empty yogurt jar, saving it from the bottle bank. Plus, you’ll have a great gift for small occasions, such as a dinner invitation with friends or a little extra to go with a gift certificate.
