Dear users, dear authors,
Egg cups and egg cozies are an important part of Easter breakfast or a cozy Sunday breakfast. A pleasantly warm breakfast egg is simply much tastier than a cold one. With our egg cozy patterns, the egg not only stays warm, it is also decoratively wrapped.
Egg cup patterns are available too, of course. Browse now and discover the highlights.

@Authors
please present a maximum of 2-3 patterns per person here.
An image and link, as well as information about the material, difficulty level, technique, and what makes the pattern special, must be included.
Good luck.

Crochet the cute little sheep egg cups!! They brighten up any breakfast table and will make you laugh first thing in the morning with their look. The little sheep are truly a fun eye-catcher and also make a great gift! I crochet the “fur look” with bobbles. I explain these to you in detail at the beginning of the pattern using pictures. I also use lots of pictures throughout the rest of the pattern to illustrate every step more clearly. This makes the crochet pattern quick and easy to understand! You should be confident working with single crochet stitches: increasing and decreasing stitches, as well as making a magic ring. Includes 16 illustrated pages of crochet pattern. Difficulty level: medium to easy, but easy to understand and quick to make thanks to the many pictures. What you need
  • A 3 mm crochet hook Approx. 15–20 g craft yarn/wool in the color of your choice (white, cream, beige, brown, black... little sheep come in all kinds of colors ;-) ). This yarn should be suitable for a 3 mm crochet hook. I crocheted the little sheep with 100% cotton yarn, which makes them nice and sturdy.
  • A little stuffing for the head and feet
  • Darning needle and scissors
  • Googly eyes and superglue
Now grab your crochet hook :-)

Last-Minute Egg Cozy BIGGI - quick and easy to knit

(To purchase/download please click the image)

Funny egg cozies, not just for Easter! BIGGI & Co. are welcome “guests” at parties, during Carnival, or really anytime... an ideal way to use up leftover yarn.

Quick and easy to knit in one evening in front of the TV, they make a last-minute little gift for any occasion.

Basic knitting skills are enough.
We knit in the round with a set of double-pointed needles. If you do not want to make a double long-tail cast-on, you can alternatively knit 4 rounds in garter stitch so the egg cozy does not roll up. Decorations are possible as desired and with your own creativity.

Material:
Basically, any yarn can be used with a slightly smaller needle size than indicated on the label.
1 egg cozy: approx. 10 g – 15 g yarn (leftovers) + leftover yarn for decorating;
here: set of double-pointed needles 4.0 and crochet hook approx. 3.0 for “knotting in hair”;
yarn needle for weaving in ends, sewing needle and buttons if needed, measuring tape, scissors.
Recommendation: safety eyes if the egg cozies are used as amigurumi for small children.

Included in the PDF download:

  • Short pattern in text form, written for yarns with approx. 105 m running length per 50 g
  • Step-by-step illustrated pattern, written for yarns with approx. 85 m running length per 50 g
each knitted with a set of double-pointed needles size 4.0 (this makes the egg cozies nice and dense and able to stand on their own)

  • Photo tutorial “Embroidering in duplicate stitch
  • Photo tutorial “Knotting in hair with a crochet hook"

  • Separate PDF pattern for the “double long-tail cast-on
Have fun and Happy Easter!

What you’ll need:
  • Approx. 15g of yarn (it’s best to use 100% cotton yarn, as this makes the egg cozies nice and sturdy. Of course, you can also use any other yarn) in white or brown, suitable for a 3mm crochet hook. Leftover green yarn.
  • A darning needle and scissors
  • Some stuffing for the head
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Googly eyes and superglue
To give the little sheep a better woolly look, I crochet with "bobble stitches". I explain these at the beginning of the pattern and illustrate everything with pictures. That way, you’ll understand this technique very quickly ;-). All the other steps are also illustrated and explained with lots of pictures. This makes the pattern easy for everyone to understand. The sheep egg cozies are a super cute eye-catcher on any breakfast table! They’re also ideal as a gift ;-) !!! If you have any questions, send me a message! I’ll reply as quickly as possible. Have fun making them! I’d be very happy to see pictures and receive a review of the pattern ;-) Yours, Crocheting- anni :-)

    Easter breakfast without flowers? Unthinkable! And if there’s no room left on the breakfast table because of all the treats, then these flower-shaped egg cups are the solution!

      These colorful egg cups are made from cardstock and measure about 9 x 8 cm. They’re not hard to make and are well-suited even for beginners.

    A slightly different egg cozy. With just a few grams of your leftover crochet yarn, you can whip up something fun and original for the table. Not everyone has one of these. Fun for the little ones and an eye-catcher for the grown-ups at the breakfast table ;-)
    The egg cozies are quick to crochet, and by Easter you could have a whole little fleet of vehicles.

    About 10 g of crochet yarn, hook size 2–2.5, and just a little bit of stuffing or leftover yarn.
    Single crochet, half double crochet, and slip stitches.

    Have fun crocheting...

    Green, green, green are… these little cups. They bring the rich green of spring meadows to your breakfast table and highlight the bright colors of your Easter eggs.

    The egg cups are made from cardstock and are very well suited both for craft beginners and for crafting with children. The cups can be stacked and stored away компактly until next Easter.
