Crochet these cute little piggy egg cozies!! These little pigs are super quick and easy to crochet, so they’re also perfect as a beginner’s project :-) . You should be able to make a magic ring, increase and decrease stitches, and work single crochet stitches. The egg cozies are made entirely in single crochet. Experienced crafters can finish an egg cozy in about 40–45 minutes! Difficulty level: Easy. Length: 8 illustrated pages; in the pattern, I describe everything step by step using pictures. What you’ll need:
  • Approx. 15g of yarn (if you use 100% cotton, the egg cozies will be nice and sturdy, but you can also use any other type of yarn) in pink, suitable for a 3mm crochet hook. Black thread for embroidering the nostrils
  • A darning needle and scissors
  • 3mm crochet hook
  • Googly eyes and superglue
  • A little stuffing for the nose
And you’re all set to get started!

Have fun crocheting :-) Best regards, Crocheting-Anni

Are you always so cold? A grain pillow provides cozy warmth. It’s just a shame that the insert quickly becomes unsightly from repeated heating.

Why not crochet this beautiful heart as a cover? It measures about 20 x 20 cm, which is also the ideal size for a pot holder. That’s why you can use the same pattern to crochet a pot holder—you just need to add a loop for hanging.

LOOK IT UP INSTEAD OF CALCULATING—PDF Chart for Knitting and Crochet

The simple gauge conversion chart to print out and take with you

(Click the image to purchase/download )

No tablet with you? No calculator handy? Is your smartphone battery charging right now? Is your PC at home while you’re out and about? Just slip a paper printout into your bag with your knitting project, and you’re ready to go...

...knit or crochet a gauge swatch slightly larger than 10 cm x 10 cm, count how many stitches (or rows) make up 10 cm , and look up in the chart how many stitches you need to cast on (or how many rows to knit/crochet) to achieve the desired measurements.

Important:
The chart always refers to the basis of ....stitches/rows = 10 cm

More information on gauge can be found in my blog: “How to Convert Gauge”

There are even more calculation tools and plenty of crochet and knitting patterns.

You can quickly crochet this little airplane from a few pieces of leftover yarn. You can use it as a keychain or a bag charm. Or you can make several of them at once to create a colorful mobile for the kids’ room. That’s sure to be a lot of fun!
