Dear Josefa,

you’re right: It’s not that hard at all, and with the right step-by-step pattern , even beginners at knitting and felting can succeed. For example, you can use just a few grams of felting wool in your favorite color to knit some lovely moccasin-style slippers for yourself, the kids, or a friend. The washing machine takes care of the felting.

I hope you all have lots of fun with felted knitting—Yours, “Ina strickt”

P.S. Here’s another tip from me: I always take mine with me on vacation or when we’re invited to visit someone—they fit in any bag, and I always have my own slippers that I feel comfortable in.

For those of you who need even warmer feet, I’d like to recommend my pattern for the One-Step Felt Booties . The bootie is knitted in one piece and then put in the washing machine to be felted. The detailed step-by-step pattern is also suitable for beginners in knitting and felting. You can knit the booties in all sizes and colors.

I hope you enjoy knitting, felting, and wearing your new felt booties.
Best regards - "Ina strickt"

I really want to share this lovely pattern with you. These felt boots with a roll-neck cuff are practically a classic. Here, too, you can knit the felt boots in your favorite colors—the washing machine takes care of the felting. The cuff is knitted separately and sewn on afterward. The pattern, which is very well suited for beginners in both knitting and felting, shows and describes everything in detail. You can make them for yourself, your children, your partner, or your friends.

So, now it’s up to you to choose a felt shoe style. No matter which one you knit, you’ll love your felt shoes because they’re soooo cozy and always perfectly warm and soft.
Warm regards from “Ina strickt”

These crocheted and felted ballet flats can be crocheted for the whole family!
The big advantage of felt is that it is perfect for year-round wear. Felt keeps your feet warm in winter and is also comfortable to wear in the warmer seasons. It is breathable, so you don’t sweat. And in summer, felt slippers are ideal to wear without socks!

The pattern includes all sizes from 20/21 to 40/41.
The making process is explained in detail with lots of pictures and tips.
Also included are tips for color variations and the pattern for a felted crochet flower as a decoration for the crochet ballet flats.

The HANS HOPPEL doorstop is first crocheted from thick felting wool and then felted in the washing machine. Inside his belly is a freezer bag filled with bird sand—so he’s heavy enough to stand up to any draft. He’s easy to pick up by his long ears and move to another spot. HANS HOPPEL is really easy to crochet—basically, he consists only of single crochet stitches, and of course there’s a step-by-step pattern for the great colorful bobbles. Since it doesn’t matter how much the bunny shrinks in the wash, he’s a great project for getting a feel for the felting process.

No, I’m sorry, I’ve been struggling with this decision… I just have to show you the felt insoles. They’re soooo practical for young and old alike. Just knit them and pop them in the washing machine. Take them out, cut them to size, and slip them into rubber boots or clogs. Anyone can do it!

Best regards - "Ina strickt"
