One of my pairs of jeans started slipping down after I’d already lost over 8 kg. I always lose weight very quickly around my chest and stomach before it gets to my butt and legs. I cut the belt loops off an old pair of my husband’s work jeans and sewed them onto my jeans, since they didn’t have any loops. Now I just need to get a belt, and then I can wear them again.

Best, Inge
Yes, Inge, that’s a good idea. That way you can keep wearing your pants. But the belt just holds the fabric together at the waist—there’s still too much fabric. Personally, I don’t like wearing belts; they dig into my stomach when I sit down. The older I get, the more comfortable I need my clothes to be.
Best regards, Ina
It’s the same for me, Ina. I don’t like belts either, because I have a 30-cm-long scar right around my waist, and it doesn’t tolerate that well. But Martuina told me she has a soft, elastic belt I can use.
Best, Inge
