What you need:

♦ Crochet yarn in various colors, recommendation: cotton with a yardage of 125 m / 50 g

♦ Crochet hooks: • One hook in the smallest size recommended for the yarn. • One hook approx. 1 mm larger

♦ Craft stuffing or similar for filling the bear

♦ Safety eyes (if desired, in your preferred color and size.)

♦ One button (in your preferred color and size)

You should be familiar with the following: crocheting in rounds, crocheting in rows, chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, color changes, decreases and increases.

You can knit the set using the same wool or different yarns. Either way, you’ll have a wonderful winter set that reliably protects you from snow and cold and is right on trend!

Materials needed for the hat:

• approx. 70 grams of wool for needle size 6–7 or approx. 140 meters (e.g. MyBoshi Goat or similar wool; please note the yardage)
• knitting needles size 6–7
• 2 stitch markers
• measuring tape
• scissors
• sewing needle
• some leftover yarn for the provisional cast-on
• crochet hook

The hat is knitted flat and in rows; you do not need a set of double-pointed needles.

Materials needed for the cowl:

• 120 grams of wool (e.g. MyBoshi Goat or similar wool) = approx. 250 meters
• circular knitting needle size 6
• stitch marker
• scissors
• sewing needle

The cowl is started with just a few stitches at the lower point and knitted straight upward. It gets its shape through regular increases.
Finished size after blocking: approx. 63 cm (length) x 30 cm (neck diameter)

The pattern includes 15 pages and contains written instructions as well as charts and schematic drawings for each piece. The pattern includes a photo tutorial for the hat’s horizontal rib pattern.
Difficulty level: easy to intermediate.
