The Jeans Shawl is the perfect project for winter. With thick yarn and 6 mm needles, it knits up very quickly and also keeps you nice and warm. It has a little bit of everything: garter stitch and a simple cable combined with a lace pattern. The pattern includes both a knitting chart and written instructions.

Materials: Yarn: Merino Big by Drops (100% merino), 75 meters / 50 g, 5 skeins. Knitting needles: 6 mm circular needles, 1 size 6 mm cable needle. Other: 2 stitch markers, optionally a row counter, tapestry needle.

This loop scarf is suitable for advanced knitters. You should definitely already be familiar with cabling. But the pattern describes exactly how you need to proceed so that you can make this extraordinary loop scarf and hold a truly unique piece in your hands.

Material: Yarn: Malabrigo Twist (100% merino – (137 meters) 100g skein) – 3 skeins or another yarn that can be knitted with
needle size no. 5.5 mm.Knitting needles: 5.5 mm circular knitting needle and two 5.5 mm cable needles for cabling. Other: Crochet hook and a longer piece of yarn for the provisional cast-on, yarn needle, 2 stitch markers.

Required materials for a cowl with approx. 60 cm circumference:

• 75 g yarn for needle size 4–4.5 (yarn for needle size 4–4.5 was used here, e.g. Magic Light by Ice Yarns, 360 m yardage/100 g)
• Crochet hook size 4

A brand-new pattern: HAMBURG AHOI. I took the maritime colors from the sea, red buoys, and the lightship—and the white bobbles stand for Hamburg’s typical drizzle.
HAMBURG AHOI is knitted sideways and can be varied to any size.

Clear shapes alternate with an interesting color design in this beautiful knitted shawl. This gives the shawl a sporty touch and makes it the perfect accessory for a casual jeans outfit. You can knit the “Amrun” shawl with many different yarns. Whether with cotton, sock yarn, or other cozy yarns, you’ll get a great result! The yarn used should be no heavier than DK (8-ply yarn).Materials needed:

This shawl is named after “Rote Zora” because of its fiery red color. “Rote Zora” is the heroine of a young adult novel by Kurt Held. As an orphan in Croatia, she has to survive on the streets together with her companions. The story was created after a journey by the author, in which he processed his experiences with street children.
 
This pattern has a classically elegant look and can be varied in width, from scarf to stole.
 
When you purchase it, you will receive a pattern that is 5 pages long and includes a knitting chart. The first rows are also written out to make getting started easier.

Ocean Beach—an Elegantly Crocheted Shawl

The Ocean Beach shawl is a beautiful triangular shawl that isn’t quite as pointed and can easily be adjusted in size. Using 170g of sock yarn , it measures approximately 145cm wide and 50cm tall.
The shorter color gradient of the sock yarn creates many small, differently colored diamonds, which give this shawl its special charm.

Hello, dear knitted loop fans,

here the basic principle and three cast-on techniques for knitting Möbius scarves/loops are presented. Try them out and choose your favorite method :-)

The PDF pattern is richly illustrated and contains 2 patterns (see image gallery).

Model 1 – Colorful - is a Möbius loop/scarf with a circumference of approx. 90 cm and a height of approx. 20 cm, which can be worn wonderfully in different variations as a shoulder warmer and neck warmer
(see image gallery).

For this we need
only 1 ball of Woolly Hugs Bandy, here color no. 7, 100 g – 210 m, 100% cotton,
gauge according to the ball band: 14 sts x 20 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm;
circular knitting needle size 6.0 with a cable length of 1 m;
stitch marker; measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.
If needed, leftover yarn of a slightly thinner, color-coordinated yarn (e.g. Record 210 – potholder yarn, here in green) and crochet hook 4.5.

Model II – Möbius Collar in Milk White nestles wonderfully around the neck like a turtleneck, but can also be worn as a headband. This model makes a wonderful gift and can be knitted in just a few hours.

For this we need
only 1 ball of merino yarn, 50 g – 85 m, e.g. Merino 85 by Austermann or Schachenmayr, 100% merino, according to the ball band for needle size 6 – 7 and a gauge of 16 sts x 22 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm.
Used here: circular knitting needle 6.0, cable length 80 cm to 100 cm;
stitch marker; measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.

Both models are worked in a simple reversible rib pattern.

These knitting skills are required: casting on stitches, knit and purl stitches, knitting in the round, knit stitches together, purl stitches together, yarn over, bind off.
A basic knitting course is not included, but helpful link tips are.

Have lots of Möbius fun!

A wonderfully light scarf/infinity scarf that is quick and easy to crochet, also wearable as a shoulder warmer or hooded scarf - crocheted using the Möbius technique.

The Möbius technique in crochet is really very easy (with pictures). You crochet from the horizontal center outward, which creates sophisticated pattern effects.

This Möbius infinity scarf, with a circumference of approx. 90 cm and a height of approx. 25 cm, can be worn in all the pictured variations, for both men and women. It is also easy to make for children (possibly recommended in a thinner yarn
).

And the best part: with the yarn type/weight used here (see below) and this size, no gauge (the exact
centimeter does not matter) is required.

The detailed PDF pattern with pictures includes information and tips for using other yarns of your choice as well as for other sizes.

These crochet skills are enough: chain stitches, single crochet. Everything else and slip stitches are explained. Tips with (video) links for beginners learning to crochet are included in the PDF.

Material
for the pictured model: approx. 300 g merino yarn, 50 g – 45 m (e.g. MyBoshi No. 3), 6.0 mm crochet hook; measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends, and STITCH MARKERS.
(The ribbed pattern requires approx. 50 g more yarn than is usual for simple smooth patterns.)
The crochet hook size should match the yarn being used.

For this triangular shawl suitable for all seasons , you can basically use any yarn you like —the thinner, the more elegant. Size: any.

For the dimensions shown here, approx. 70 cm x 162 cm, I used 350 g of Schachenmayr Cotton Bamboo (
50 g – 120 m), with a hook size of 3–4 according to the label, here I used a size 4.0 crochet hook. I wouldn’t recommend thicker yarn for aesthetic reasons. I decided not to block the shawl, as this allows the curves of the shell pattern to stand out better—but that’s a matter of personal taste.

The following crochet skills are required:
chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and front post double crochet (explained in the pattern).

The 15-page PDF pattern includes illustrations but is not a crochet course. A link and video recommendation for a crochet course, among other resources, are included. The PDF contains

• in the first part, a detailed pattern with corresponding illustrations,
• in the second part, a shorter version that is also illustrated, and
• last but not least, a brief version of a scarf/shawl variation.

Difficulty level: easy to medium—no crochet chart—no gauge required

A cozy, feather-light lace shawl (yarn: 150 g Austermann Caleido Lace for approx. 42 cm x 112 cm) in an easy openwork pattern that can be worn as a shoulder shawl, scarf, or even as a hooded scarf. The length is variable.

Basic knitting skills (casting on stitches, knit and purl stitches, edge stitches, yarn overs / knitting together, binding off) are enough for this easy openwork pattern.

Nelthil is a wonderful knitted cowl that, thanks to its unusual shape, reliably keeps the neck and décolleté warm—without any additional accessories and without slipping. In the colder season, it makes a chic accessory for a casual or even elegant outfit.

Materials needed:

• 120 grams of yarn (e.g., MyBoshi Goat or similar yarn) = approx. 250 meters
• Circular knitting needle size 6
• Stitch marker
• Scissors
• Sewing needle

The cowl is started with just a few stitches at the lower point and knitted straight upward. It gets its shape through regular increases.
Finished size after blocking: approx. 63 cm (length) x 30 cm (neck diameter)
