Crochet pattern for a loop scarf with a cable-pattern look

This beautiful, thick loop scarf in the trendy cable-pattern look can easily be made individually for any size. It crochets up very quickly and makes a great gift for friends and relatives. If you

wrist warmers, a matching headband, or a complete set.

Here’s the pattern:

Required materials for a loop scarf with approx. 60 cm circumference:
  • 75 g yarn for needle size 4–4.5 mm (yarn for needle size 4–4.5 mm was used here, e.g. Magic Light by Ice Yarns, 360 m/100 g)
  • Size 4 mm crochet hook

Crocheted jars are currently all the rage—and for good reason—because they make a lovely gift, not just for Christmas. I like to crochet them in advance so I always have a little something to bring along when I’m invited somewhere on short notice. Of course, you can vary the colors however you like, so you can make the jars to match the seasons.

You can find all further information—including the materials needed, the stitches used, and the pattern—here: Crochet Pattern for “Lichterzauber” Crocheted Jars

What could be a nicer gift for a child than handmade stuffed animals? An animal companion like that sticks with the little ones through thick and thin, is a dear friend and comforter. In my shop, there is a large selection of enchanting animals that want to win the hearts of many children!
Thanks to the very detailed patterns, the stuffed animals are quite easy to make, though you should have a tiny bit of knitting experience. But if you've ever knitted socks, you definitely won't have any problems!

Hier geht's zu meinem Shop: KLICK!

And here is a small selection of the knitted animals that would sooooo love to be under the Christmas tree!

How about an unusual potholder for a change? This will definitely keep things from getting boring in the kitchen.

  • Catania yarn (black, gray, and white)
  • 3.0 crochet hook
  • Sewing needle
  • Scissors
What you should already know
  • Chain stitches
  • Single crochet
  • Slip stitches

No idea yet for a Christmas gift for your best friend, sister, mother, or mother-in-law? Or even for yourself?

Then the crochet pattern for the Peara scarf is just right for you.

The scarf is crocheted diagonally, which creates a special eye-catcher, for example if you use gradient yarns. The highlight is the little beads that are crocheted in as you go.
The photo tutorial in the pattern shows exactly how it’s done.

Materials needed:
  • approx. 100–200 grams of yarn (or 800–1000 meters)
  • Crochet hook suitable for the yarn used (if you crochet tightly, use one size larger)
  • Beads (e.g., seed beads – the hole should be large enough so that they
  • don’t sit too tightly on the yarn)
  • a piece of very thin wire for stringing the beads
  • sewing needle for weaving in ends
The scarf is very easy for beginners to make, since almost all you need are double crochet and chain stitches.

Get this great pattern now, which includes charts in addition to a detailed photo tutorial and written instructions, and crochet a very special and beautiful Christmas gift.

And best of all: There is 30% off the pattern until the end of November!

A wonderful gift for cat lovers is this little cat. Maybe also something for your little four-legged friend, because filled with a bit of rice, the kitty makes noises.

Easy and quick to crochet, and also ideal for using up leftover yarn.
Crochet hook size 2.5 and a Kinder Surprise egg to crochet around. But it can also be filled with stuffing.

A great gift for doll mums is this little backpack for Baby Born or other dolls.
It has some space to store small items.
It’s suitable for beginners and is quick to crochet.
You’ll need green and yellow yarn (133 m/50 g), a size 2 crochet hook, a
shirt button, white, red, and black yarn (scraps), as well as a yarn needle.
Of course, you’re welcome to use other colors depending on the child’s favorite colors.

Still looking for a cozy Christmas gift? How about this one?

"Knuffi the Cuddly Pillow" to crochet yourself. The cuddly pillow has a finished size of approx. 45 x 45 cm, measured without the head and paws.

It is crocheted like a cover and is suitable for a 40 x 40 cm pillow insert.
What you need for it:

  • It is crocheted with fluffy yarn, hook size 6–7 (in this case I used “myboshi Flausch”), in the colors kolibri (7 balls of 50 g each, yardage 90 m / 50 g), Schneeeule (1 ball of 50 g, yardage 90 m / 50 g)
  • Yarn for hook size 3–4 (yardage 133 m / 50 g) in the colors white, rose, mint, turquoise, and black. A leftover amount is enough.
  • Crochet hook sizes 7 and 3.5
  • Yarn needle, darning needle, stuffing
  • Pillow insert, size 40 x 40 cm
  • possibly some hook-and-loop tape to sew on (approx. 5 cm)

Hello, I’m relatively new here and I’m not quite sure how to upload links and photos here.
So I’ll present my products to you as best I can and hope that you can find your way to the patterns and my shop.

These cute little angels make a lovely Christmas gift, and they even have room for a small surprise under their dress. You don’t need much to make them. Two crochet hooks in sizes 2.5 and 3.5
Plus leftover yarn and decorative scraps
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/21729/engel-und-nikolaus-geschenkverpackung-schmuckdose

Lilly and Nana also make a lovely gift. They also come with many colorful outfits and accessories. Under the Christmas tree, these two might make many girls happy and cheerful. To make the dolls, their outfits and their accessories, I used Catania and merino yarn and two crochet hooks in sizes 2.5 and 3.5

Socks made from 6-ply sock yarn are a little thicker – and therefore also warmer – and above all faster to knit than ones made from 4-ply yarn. They are popular as house and bed socks, cabin socks, or also for hiking in mountain boots. Men love socks like these in work boots. And with this "Christmas sock yarn" (material details see below), baby socks make a lovely gift - knitted in just one evening in front of the TV :-)

This is basically a sock-knitting course, illustrated in detail using children's socks size 32/33. All other sizes can be knitted according to the corresponding chart information for 6-ply sock yarn.

Don't be alarmed! It is harder to describe the process than to knit the socks.

In the download you'll find:

  • PDF sock-knitting pattern - illustrated step by step (22 pages)
  • Baby sock size chart for 6-ply sock yarn for newborns up to shoe size 20
  • Sock size chart for 6-ply sock yarn for children's socks through adult shoe size 47

Note:
For 4-ply sock yarns, there is a separate sock-knitting course with corresponding charts here in my shop at https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/5603/sockenstrick-lehrgang-fuer-4-faediges-garn-alle-groessen-fuer-baby-kinder-damen-herrensocken

We need
1 skein = 150 g (yardage approx. 420 m to 450 m) up to shoe size 44; 200 g – 250 g from size 45
of a 6-ply sock yarn; used here is the especially soft Christmas yarn color 02 “Mally Socks – Lungauer Sockenwolle” by Ferner Wolle, 75% merino, 25% polyamide;
gauge approx. 22 sts x 31 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm;
set of double-pointed needles size 3.5; row counter is helpful; tape measure, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.
