Crochet Hat for EVERYONE - very easy

This PDF pattern is available here:
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/19191/haekel-muetze-fuer-alle-sehr-einfach

A wonderfully easy-to-crochet hat for different styles, so ONE hat model wearable in all the variations pictured, for both men and women. Also easy to make for children or as a
simple hat for babies (though thinner yarn is recommended). And the best part: no gauge swatch needed (it doesn't come down to the exact centimeter), no increases or decreases, possible in all sizes with any yarn you like. The PDF pattern includes pictures.
These crochet skills are needed: chain stitches, single crochet
Everything else, including slip stitches, is explained.
(Video) link tips for learning to crochet for beginners are included in the PDF.

Materials: for the pictured model with a head circumference of 55 cm to 60 cm: approx. 250 g
merino yarn, 50 g – 45 m, crochet hook 6.0; measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle
for sewing in ends
The ribbed pattern requires approx. 50 g more yarn than is normally usual for hats. The crochet hook size should match the yarn used.

By the way: A matching crochet pattern for an infinity scarf for this hat is also available here in my shop:
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/20003/haekel-moebius-loop-schal-fuer-alle-einfach

Have fun,

This poncho is suitable for knitting beginners:

This PDF pattern is available here:
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/8500/strick-poncho-stola-federleicht-sehr-einfach

This is a brief pattern for a feather-light, very easy-to-knit one-size poncho made with just 100 g of KidSilk (Austermann). The pattern includes the preview image.

These knitting skills are enough:
casting on, edge stitch (your favorite edge stitch), knit and purl stitches, binding off.

By the way: The poncho can also be knitted as a warm outdoor poncho with thick yarn, 100 g - 100 m, using needle size 8.0. The required amount of yarn is then approx. 700 g. The number of stitches is always based
on your individual gauge.
Help on the topic  "Converting gauge - here's how" is available on my blog at
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/blog/667/maschenprobe-umrechnen-so-geht-s
as well as as a purchasable Excel table: Gauge conversion table - Crochet and Knitting

Have fun and success :-)

..as a supplement to the one-size PONCHO pattern:
If you’re a beginner and don’t (yet) feel confident knitting with mohair yarn—which is very difficult to unravel and therefore hardly forgives mistakes—you can use lace yarns without mohair or even 4-ply sock yarns. Please ask for advice at a specialty store if needed.

A potholder like this is considered THE CROCHET CLASSIC and basically belongs in every household:

This PDF pattern is available here:
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/7522/topflappen-der-haekelklassiker

This potholder is considered a classic for crochet beginners.
For this, you need 50 g of cotton yarn per color for a size 4.5 crochet hook. Yarns that are a bit more tightly twisted and don’t split as quickly are better suited for beginners than so-called “plied yarns.” Please ask for advice at your local yarn shop.

The pattern includes pictures, but it is not a crochet course.
There’s a lovely crochet tutorial here on CP: https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/haekeln-lernen

The following basic crochet skills are required:
(turning) chain stitch, single crochet, and slip stitch

Have fun and enjoy making great potholders :-)

The pattern for the Asteria poncho is an easy beginner’s project. The shape of the five points is created through skillful increases and decreases.
This model can be knitted in sizes from 12 months up to adult. The only thing that changes is the yardage of the yarn.

Yarn requirements:
- For 12 months, you’ll need approx. 550 m of 5-ply gradient yarn
- For adults, 1200 m or more of 4-ply gradient yarn

It’s easy to calculate the adjusted stitch distribution if you’re using a different gauge or yarn.
- Formulas for calculating other sizes are included in the pattern
.
What skills do you need?
• Casting on
• Knit and purl stitches
• kfb (knit-front-back) increase
• Knitting stitches together
• Binding off

The basic techniques listed are not explained in the pattern.

Hello everyone, I don’t want to share a pattern here, but rather encourage beginners with the motto “nothing is impossible.” Just follow the pattern, because as you work, you start to understand. Years ago, I knitted a lot, including some very difficult projects. When I started, I didn’t always really know what to do, but with knitting or crocheting, most things become clear as you go along. And if not, just experiment a little—then it will certainly work out.
Best wishes, Biggie

And here is another wonderfully easy-to-crochet warm winter poncho:

This illustrated PDF pattern is available here:
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/9833/einfacher-haekel-poncho-mit-moebius-schalkragen-loop

With this crochet method, you can decide while crocheting how large the poncho should be — you simply stop crocheting when you like the size.

The poncho and Möbius scarf are made with thick gradient yarn, 100 g – 100 m, and a size 8.0 crochet hook.

These crochet skills are enough:
chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, crocheting in rows, crocheting in rounds.

By the way: with a Möbius scarf, the pattern you make is mirrored, i.e. one horizontal half appears like a right outer side, while the second half appears like a left inner side of the pattern.
This creates clever effects depending on how the scarf is draped and how the pattern falls.

Enjoy making it :-)

For anyone who’s never made crafts before but would like to give it a try, these 10 little boxes are perfect: They’re cut and folded in straight lines and glued in just one place—it couldn’t be simpler.

Once finished, you can fold the boxes flat and store them to save space until you need them. The boxes are perfect for all kinds of small gifts, such as keychains, bag charms, and similar items. They all come in different sizes: the shortest edge is 3 cm, and the longest is 8 cm. The product photos include some decoration ideas.

For crochet beginners who would still like to take on a small challenge, I have the perfect pattern:
The sideways-crocheted shawl "Rosa Wölkchen".
The pattern is detailed, illustrated with a photo tutorial, and includes written instructions as well as professionally created charts.
Even beginners can manage it. The shawl consists only of chain stitches, single crochets, and double crochets, so no advanced crochet skills are necessary.

A customer wrote in the reviews:

Absolutely fantastic!!! This shawl was my very first crochet project. Everything is wonderfully explained. Step-by-step instructions in text form, a photo tutorial, and a crochet chart are included. The finished shawl turned out beautifully, and I will definitely make this shawl again more often.

You need:

  • approx. 600–800 meters of yarn (depending on yardage)
  • Crochet hook in the appropriate size (if you crochet very tightly, it’s better to choose one hook size larger)
  • Kitchen scale or another digital scale to determine half of the amount used
  • Needle for weaving in the ends
The size of the finished shawl is approx. 200 x 90 cm.

Get the great pattern now and start today!
I’m always available for any questions. ☺

Thanks to the well-illustrated pattern and detailed explanations of each step, this beanie is also very easy for beginners to make. Since the beanie is started from the bottom—that is, from the brim—it’s very easy to adjust to fit different head sizes. The pattern explains exactly how to do this. You can easily change the look of the beanie by using different colors, so you can crochet several variations. You’ll also learn how to crochet flat bobbles.

You can find all additional information about the stitches used, the yarn, and the materials needed, as well as the pattern, here: Go to the pattern

For absolute beginners, these little crocheted flowers offer quick success.
And there are endless things you can do with these little appliqués: necklaces, bracelets, and—by adjusting the colors—even garlands.
You don’t need much yarn either—just a bit of leftover yarn, and you’re ready to go.

You can find the pattern here: https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/17930/haekelanleitung-4-in-1-bluetenapplikation-kette-ring-und-armband-fuer-eine-prinzessin-ideal-fuer-wollreste

The pattern is well illustrated and described. If you still have any questions, I’d be happy to help.

Maybe you'd like to try making a simple Christmas decoration and still have a few bits of leftover yarn in Christmas colors: red, green, gold, and white? These egg cozies are very easy and quick to crochet, and they make pretty Christmas decorations even without eggs. You can also use them as gift tags or Christmas tree ornaments. You can easily knit this winter set yourself using gradient yarn. It looks more difficult than it is, because you only ever knit with one color, and the color gradient creates an additional effect.

Materials:

  • 2 cakes of gradient yarn, 4-ply, 750 meters each, cotton/acrylic, needle size 3–4.5
  • 1 circular needle, size 3.5
  • 1 set of double-pointed needles, size 3.5
  • 1 stitch marker
  • 1 needle to weave in ends
  • 1 pair of scissors
I’ve included with the pattern a list of online retailers that carry gradient yarn and with whom I like to work.

Required skills:
  • Casting on stitches
  • Knit stitches
  • Slip stitches as if to purl
  • Knit stitches together
  • Bind off stitches

I hope you enjoy making it, and I’ll be happy to answer any questions.

Dear craft enthusiasts,
If you’re new to knitting, you need a simple project that’s sure to turn out well. And of course, it should look great! I have a lovely free pattern for you. A sophisticated shawl collar that can be worn in different ways by buttoning it up differently. It’s very easy to knit using only basic stitches. For the button placket, we’ll crochet single crochet stitches and chain stitches.
For the model in the picture, I used 200 g of Olympia by Lana Grossa with a size 9 circular knitting needle. To crochet the button placket, you’ll need a size 6 or 7 crochet hook.

I hope you enjoy this pattern.

Warm regards from “Ina strickt”

P.S. It also makes a great Christmas gift ;-)

Dear craft lovers,

now is the perfect time to make sure the whole family has warm feet: with hand-knitted felted soles. It’s really easy: just knit using knit stitches and purl stitches, toss them in the washing machine, cut the soles to size, and you’re done. Depending on the desired size, you’ll need between 20 g for shoe size 18 and 90 g for shoe size 47.

I hope you enjoy the pattern.

This cute little charm is a real eye-catcher, and when used as a keychain, you’ll never lose a key again—and if you do, … you’ll find it again in no time!

**A great way to use up leftover yarn**

This 10-page pattern is very detailed and generously illustrated.

To crochet this bunny, you’ll need to know how to do the following:
single crochet, slip stitch, decreases, and increases

“Autumn Leaves” is a lightweight lace shawl with a simple pattern that’s only 8 stitches wide. It’s knitted with an I-cord edge to prevent the edge from curling.
It can be worn as a shawl or a scarf, so
it’s totally versatile. It’s absolutely beginner-friendly.
The finished shawl measures 40 cm wide and 184 cm long. All you need to know are knit and purl stitches, yarn overs, and skp decreases. The pattern is explained using a knitting chart.

My previous little pig and sheep are now joined by this cute crocheted horse bag :)The body of the bag measures approx. 20x13 cm and is just right for a lunch box, smaller handbag items, a phone, or similar things. Perfect for all horse-loving girls :)The bag is also fairly easy for beginners to understand. You should definitely know the magic ring, chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, and half double crochet :)Supplies: * Rossmann baby yarn in brown, approx. 150 g, a little black from Gründl Happy (50-60 g), leftover white, black button, some stuffing, safety eyes. Hook sizes 4 and 6 (for the handle/reins), yarn needle, and scissors
  • of course, other yarn for hook size 4 can also be used
Almost all parts are worked in spiral rounds and joined together later. Some parts are also crocheted in rows.

The single-color version of this tea light holder is very easy to make and perfectly suited for beginners; there are also detailed instructions with photos for all the important steps.

The tea light holder is made from photo cardstock and measures approximately 14 x 14 x 2 cm; for the plain version without decoration, you’ll only need one sheet of A4 photo cardstock and some construction paper.
