Dear users, dear authors,
crafts don’t always have to be plain, conservative, and suitable for everyday use—you can definitely create some very elegant pieces as well. There’s room for that here in this thread. If you like elegant pieces, keep scrolling.

@Authors
Please post patterns here that fit this theme. Don’t forget to include an image, a link, and text, as well as information on materials, difficulty level, the techniques used, and what makes your pattern special. Good luck!

How about a hand-crocheted handbag for an evening out?
This bag is approximately 24 cm wide and 16 cm tall. With its beautiful pattern, it even looks great on the inside.

Peara is a wonderfully elegant stole, a crocheted shawl with beads.

The pattern is super easy, and for crocheting in the beads there is a detailed photo tutorial in the pattern, which also includes detailed, professionally created charts.

This gorgeous stole is easy to make with many yarns, and it looks most stunning in gradient yarn. But even in a simple white or black, it makes a wonderful accessory that people are sure to envy you for. :-)

Here is the pattern.

The "Art Deco" cape is reminiscent of the painting and stained glass art of this sophisticated era. Cozy and warm, it becomes the perfect companion to your little black dress, so you won't have to freeze on your way to the opera, the theater, or an elegant party.
By the way, the matching hat has a completely different look without a pom-pom!

Material: 150 g NORO Silk Garden, approx. 500 g Lana Grossa BINGO

Here is the pattern: CLICK!

The little MANOU poncho can be elegant too: Whether with a sheath dress, a playful skirt, a softly flowing jumpsuit, a little black dress, an off-the-shoulder dress, or a strappy dress—the poncho keeps you warm and playfully covers the shoulders, and the crochet cord lets you create sophisticated gathers and accents! The poncho is knitted first in a very simple lace pattern, then a border is crocheted onto it.

You can download the pattern for sizes 36–46 here:

Have fun knitting and crocheting,
Annette

“Easy to make and looks very classy.” That’s one of the reviews written for this shawl.

With this pattern, you can create an elegant accessory for many occasions. You can knit this shawl for special occasions using a luxury yarn blend of silk and alpaca or silk and camel, or use any other yarn for everyday wear.

With this beautiful "Meril" stole, you'll be the star at festive occasions! "Meril" is Elvish and means rose. And indeed, the pattern in this knitted stole is reminiscent of roses.
The pattern takes a bit of practice, but anyone who can read knitting charts has already won and will get along with the pattern very easily.
The result is truly impressive—compliments guaranteed! ☺

"Meril" can be made individually in length and width.

This large shawl is very versatile.

Thanks to the soft yarn (200 g Schachenmayr “Highland Alpaca Fino,” 50% alpaca, 50% virgin wool, with a running length of 250 m / 50 g), it’s not only nice and cozy and warm, but it also looks sophisticated, so you can wear it for everyday use as well as over a dress for an evening out.

also makes a great gift for an expectant mother, as it can be draped comfortably over the shoulders while breastfeeding, keeping both mother and baby warm.

Fine wool and an unusual cut—this twin set is also suitable for special occasions.

The pattern is available in two languages—the image on the left leads to the German pattern, and the one on the right to the English one.

I’d like to introduce you to my airy, lightweight, elegant favorite shawl. It’s perfect with a little black dress or casually knotted as a scarf for everyday wear. Feel free to take a look at my photos of it. And it’s easy for even knitting beginners to make, since exactly two pattern rows are repeated throughout, and I show and describe everything to you in detail, step by step. You only need 2 balls of gradient yarn ("Daphne Lace" or "Lace
Top by Lanas Stop" or "Schoppel Zauberball Lace 100") and a size 4 circular knitting needle.

Click here for the pattern. I hope you enjoy making it.
Yours, Ina

You’re going to love this poncho! The clever cut and elegant drape make it an absolute figure-flatterer and help conceal little bulges. It goes well with a dressy outfit and gently drapes over the shoulders, but it also looks great worn with jeans. Feel free to take a look at my photos.

It fits all sizes. The knitting pattern and the design are suitable for knitting beginners and pros alike. We knit (for the blue one) with 180 g of Drachenwolle yarn and size 3.5 circular knitting needles, using only knit stitches, purl stitches
and yarn overs. 4 pattern rows alternate throughout. But you don’t have to
be able to read complicated knitting charts, even though a
knitting chart is included. In the pattern, I show and describe everything to you in full detail.

Best regards - Yours, Ina

With a lace yarn, 700 meters of yardage per 100 g, from woolworxx or another manufacturer, you can knit this elegant shawl for yourself.

You will need a size 3 circular knitting needle and the following knitting skills:

Cast on stitches
Knit stitches
1 yarn over2 stitches knit togetherknit 2 stitches out of 1 stitchknit 3 stitches and pass the 1st stitch over the other two stitches
Bind off stitches

It is knitted sideways, from the narrow side to the wide side. This gives you the option to adjust it to your size. Alternating between garter stitch sections and two easy-to-knit pattern sections lets you enjoy relaxed knitting. I hope you have lots of fun making it and, of course, wearing your new shawl.

P.S. You can also knit the shawl with any other yarn, giving it a different character each time.

Best wishes

Christa

Warm hands are important - but often you still need your fingers free...plus, they’re a real eye-catcher and top accessory!

That’s where my absolutely beginner-friendly fingerless mitts come in handy!
