Crocheted hand puppets are always a great idea! All children love these puppets that come to life on their hands. Often, you don’t even need to buy new yarn; you can use up leftover yarn instead, especially for puppets that are meant to be as colorful as possible.

The
Kasperl is, of course, the most colorful of all the puppets. You can use gradient yarn or lots of small colorful scraps here. For the body, hat, and legs, you’ll need a total of about 70 g. Add about 20 g of skin-colored yarn, plus scraps in brown and white.

Kasperl’s friend
Seppel is, of course, also dressed in bright colors: he wears a red-and-white checked shirt and brown “leather” pants with green suspenders. On his head he wears a green traditional hat.

The name of the
Rainbow Fairy already suggests that lots of bright colors are needed here. You can achieve this either with gradient yarn in rainbow colors or with leftover yarn. For the hair, I used pink mohair yarn; however, it can also be worked in rainbow colors.
