Craft birds // celebrate the return of the migratory birds now

Dear users, dear authors,
In the fall, migratory birds fly south to warmer climates, and in the spring they return, sometimes in impressive flight formations. That’s why I thought we’d dedicate an entire promotional thread here to the birds in the Crazypatterns shop. Have fun crafting!

He considers himself the king of the birds and therefore wants to be first: Peacock Percy. Proudly, he shows off his bright blue plumage. Percy is crocheted from cotton yarn; I only used some fringe yarn for the tail.




You can also see the robin in our gardens in winter. Robins are what are known as “partial migrants”: some fly to more southerly regions in winter, while others stay here. You can crochet this one yourself, and it will definitely stay with you—unless a neighbor begs it off you!


 
You can crochet lots of little colorful birds from colorful scraps of yarn, and they’ll also look great on your Easter tree. With their little tails and wings made of real feathers, they look almost lifelike, don’t you think?

They may not fly back to us from the south, but they are still very welcome feathered housemates in many apartments and homes: the lovely cockatiels!
A great gift for a cockatiel lover is a crocheted version of these little chirpers!

I think this is a wonderful topic. I’m also looking forward to the birds returning and delighting us with their song in the mornings.
