Want to knit a quick infinity scarf?

With the “Kunterbunt” infinity scarf, the name says it all: it brightens up the dreary fall and winter season with lots of color and, thanks to the different colors, goes with many outfits.

The scarf is also not only quick to knit, but it also requires very little yarn, or you can alternatively use leftover skeins from other projects.

The individual patterns are easy to remember and can easily be worked on “on the side,” e.g. while watching TV.

Just in time for the upcoming Advent season, these festive coasters are now available in my shop. You’ll receive the stitch-by-stitch written pattern for a total of 6 different designs: an angel, a star, a bell, a Christmas tree, a candle, and the peace sign.

Since only knit and purl stitches are needed and the coasters knit up really quickly, this is a great knitting project for beginners. But even experienced knitters will have fun with these little pieces :-)

A bolero for toddlers ages 3 and up—that’s what some of my customers have been asking for. My oldest granddaughter absolutely loved it and has now passed it down to her younger sister. It grew with her for a very long time. She still wouldn’t part with it, even at age 6.

The sleeved scarf is easy to knit using this knitting pattern, provided you have the knitting skills mentioned.

You can use knitted Christmas motifs in a square shape almost anywhere.
As a dishcloth or washcloth, as a cuddle cloth or security blanket, as a motif
for children’s sweaters or small bags, as a doily or napkins; several
in a row or side by side make a table ribbon, a table runner, a
tablecloth, placemats, a baby blanket or a cushion cover.

In my shop there are already more than 100 motifs for many themes in life.

Two Christmas motifs have just been added:

Knitted motif cloths with Christmas motifs or winter motifs can be used in so many ways.

Individually, they work well as a small doily, dishcloth or washcloth, as a cuddle cloth or security blanket, as a motif for children’s sweaters, small bags or as napkins.

Combined with the same or different motifs, they make a table runner, a table band, or a knitted tablecloth.
You can also make placemats, a baby blanket, a blanket for the doll stroller or a cushion cover with several motifs.

There are now more than 100 different motifs in my shop.
You’re guaranteed to find something you like.

Today I’m introducing 3 new winter motifs:

Do you have a little mermaid fan at home? Then this scarf is just perfect - it’s wonderful for dreaming of amazing underwater adventures...
The scarf is knitted in double-face, so both sides look great, and it also turns out really cozy and warm. Detailed instructions for the double-face knitting technique are included.

Whipping up something warm in no time is easy with thick wool and large needles.
Especially with shawls, it’s important that they are nice and fluffy and not worked too tightly.
They drape softly around the neck and are comfortable to wear.
My Rosenrot shawl works up quickly and can, of course, also be knitted in other colors.
There is no front or back side.
It is the same on both sides, making it especially suitable for children’s shawls or for the gentlemen
among us. Neither children nor men always notice right away which side of a shawl is the pretty side and which is the back. With this shawl, they are always wearing it the right way.

Handmade items bring a lot of joy and take a lot of work. That’s why they should look beautiful for a long time.
For this reason, I like to use yarns with an anti-pilling effect.
I did the same for this sweater with a cable pattern, which I knitted with Turkish baby yarn.
It doesn’t scratch, keeps you warm, and above all forms no little pills even with longer wear.

The sweater consists of two identical pieces in different colors.
So it doesn’t matter at all which side is the front or the back.
You can wear either side in front or in back.
You can adjust the length and width of the sweater as you like, as well as the sleeve length.

A church with a starry sky is a lovely motif for decorations, and not just at Christmas time.
I designed this motif for a small square doily .

The doily is knitted using only knit and purl stitches.
I’ve written out the correct order of stitches for you in the pattern, row by row and stitch by stitch.
The pattern is also suitable for knitting dishcloths, washcloths, comfort blankets, security blankets, etc. with this motif.

If you like the motif, you can find the pattern at the link below:

The first Sunday of Advent is just around the corner—so this knitting pattern comes at just the right time! The gingerbread man (or “Grittibänz” in Swiss German) is a real charmer and loves to lend a hand in the kitchen ;-) You can knit him not only as a pot holder but also, using slightly thinner yarn, as a washcloth or dishcloth.

Thanks to the double-faced knitting technique, he has two beautiful sides. This knitting technique is really fun and is explained in detail in the included basics course.

As of today, my shop features a new pattern for a knitted collar / turtleneck

For the “Curola” collar, I incorporated the cable pattern from the arm warmers. The collar is knitted on circular needles from the bottom up.

I chose a yarn with a length of 85 m and used 150 grams.
